Chapter 36 - Organization

"So what's your first plan?" ask Koga after Tia agrees to his offer.

"Set up organization. We have a Leader. Songlan could be Vice Leader. I'm Advisor. At least we still need Logistic, Attack Team, Defense Team, Explorer. We can't possibly spend 4 years working in the Complex, right? So we have to form an Explorer Team to explore the area around the Complex and at the same time secure resources that are useful for the Team" Tia replied quickly.

Koga nodded his head, believing now that his decision to make Tia an Advisor was the right move.

"Keep, how do we choose the right personnel for each team and position?" ask Koga.

"In order for the Leader to have a good name for all Team members, justice must be maintained, position is determined by ability and achievement. Not because of the relationship. Songlan might be an exception. But it's the only one. Other positions should be given to capable Team members" Tia said steadily.

Koga realized there was a certain meaning in Tia's sentence just now.

"You mean Em?" ask Koga.

Tia did not answer.

Koga laughed loudly, "Relax, Em is my soulmate. Nothing more. So he will still be treated the same as the rest of the Team" replied Koga.

Tia was still silent and waiting. Koga took a deep breath.

"Songnam too" he continued after being silent for a while.

Tia smiled when she heard Koga's last words. That's what he wanted. Tia had no sense whatsoever towards Koga, but if their group Leader was so foolish as to force her girls to hold a vital position within the Team, Tia would have objected very much.

"Thank you Leader, I'll give you a proposal for each position in one hour" Tia said.

Thirteen candidates were seen gathering inside the headquarters of Team Koga an hour after Tia had met Koga.

They all looked worried and confused, except for Songlan who was still as usual and a girl who was now standing next to Koga, Tia.

When everyone had gathered in this room, Koga came forward and opened his mouth.

"I know you're a little worried. But there's no need to worry. From today on, all of us in this place are a family. Families will protect each other" said Koga, who was then greeted with screams of support and applause from members of his team.

"OKAY. I'm not very good at talking. Come, let me introduce you to your Advisor. He is your superior and he takes no orders other than me. You understand?" asked Koga who was greeted by a low boisterous voice from the other members.

Songlan looked surprised. Doesn't that mean, Tia's position is the same as her? And Songlan won't be able to tell Tia, either? A hint of envy and disbelief began to appear in Songlan's head.

But he can't take action now. He had to wait until the opportunity came. Songlan sees some of the people seen also protesting Koga's decision to appoint Tia.

One of them, of course, is Songnam.

She's Koga's girlfriend, why should there be another girl who's Koga's assistant?

He should be the Advisor or something. Is it just whispering something into Koga's ear? Songnam felt that she was capable of it.

"Shut up!!" songlan shouted in a sudden thunderous voice.

The room was quiet for a moment. But, not long after, the sound of protest was heard again buzzing. Everyone wants to be heard his opinion.

Songlan smiled inwardly. I've helped him once, this time try it yourself.

Koga just saw and did nothing, he also wanted to know what Tia would do under these conditions. Tia of course knows what happened.

So, this time Koga is testing it.

Tia smiled and raised her hand. At first only a few people were silent when they saw Tia raise her hand. Over time, everyone fell silent and looked towards Tia, including Songnam.

"Can you listen now?" tanya Tia flat.

All the children are silent.

"I was asked to be the strategist of this team, not to propose. I accepted it because I knew I was the best fit for this position. My IC score is the highest in the team. If any of you feel smarter and more worthy to be a strategist, go ahead!!" challenge Tia loudly.

Everyone is silent now. No one dared to go forward.

"You know what conditions I first applied for when I accepted this offer?" ask Tia.

"I asked Koga to use personal skills as a benchmark in organization, not relationships" she continued.

"I also suggest that we form a clear organizational structure. Divide the members of this Team into 3 divisions. Attack, Defense and Explore. Since our number is very limited, only 13 people, we have to form an effective team" Tia continued.

"Tim Defense as well as being a logistics team that will be responsible for the security of the basecamp. The Attack Team is in charge of chasing the enemy. The Explore team will conduct resource gathering to support the needs of all Team members" Tia said.

All members are silent. They felt a glimmer of hope as well as fear. After this, they could have been in the Complex all the time in the Defence team, were pitting their lives in the Forest in the Explore team or running from Koma in the Attack team.

Most of them of course expect to be part of the Defense as well as the Logistic team. They only have to stand guard in the Complex area and handle logistics. Even if it requires physical activity, it is at least safer. But of course not everyone can join there.

"Here is a list of names that I have divided into the three teams. I made it based on your abilities. You may reject the proposal I made. But that's your business with the Leader" Tia said.

Tia then opened the paper in her hand and made everyone speechless.

"Leaders, Koga."

"Vice Leader, Songlan."

"Advisor, I."

"Attack Team Leader, Tutu."

"Defense Team Leader, Gasa."

"Explorer Team Leader, Songnam."

"Team Leader can choose its own members. Maximum of two people per team. The rest will be the logistics team that is under Gasa" Tia said.

Everyone looked stunned for a moment when suddenly a girl shouted out loud.

"You cheated!! You sly woman!! Gasa your soulmate, of course you appointed him to be a logistic. Why not me? Why am I leading a team of explorers who have to go to the Forest?" songnam shouted hysterically.

Tia just smiled a little.

"The highest PA score after Koga and Songlan were three, Tutu, Tulan, Gasa. Why would I propose to be the Defense team leader? Because the defense team in addition to physical, also requires little brain to regulate logistics. And Gasa was the highest scorer among the three of them for the IC score," Tia replied calmly.

"If you really need smart people, why don't I go to the Defense team? My IC score is 2.9 highest on this team after you," asked Songnam fiercely.

Koga and everyone else also looked towards Tia and waited for the girl's answer.
