Chapter 31 - The Third Stage Begins
Third Stage, Day 2.
Two days after the Elimination Trials were over, Gaju and Tian were enjoying their lunch in the cafeteria.
Tian was writing something on paper using his pen.
Occasionally Tian would fall silent and look thoughtful before returning to scribble the paper in front of him.
Gaju only glanced at her occasionally, but still kept enjoying his lunch. Shortly after, Gaju finished finishing his meal.
Tian's food still looked undiminished and the beauty who became Gaju's soulmate still looked engrossed with her pen and paper.
"Tian, what are you writing?" ask Gaju.
"Wait for a moment more to finish," Tian replied.
A few minutes later, Tian smiled in satisfaction and gave the paper to Gaju who was sitting next to him. Tian then pulled the plate in front of him and started to enjoy his meal.
"I made a prediction to attribute all the candidates who escaped elimination," Tian said with a mouthful of food.
Gaju laughed looking at Tian's cute face.
Tian noticed it then looked away while swallowing the food in his mouth. With a slightly embarrassed face, Tian turned his head again towards Gaju.
"Try Gaju look first, who knows there is analysis and my predictions are missed," Tian said slowly.
Gaju looked at the paper that Tian had given him and a line of neatly written names, although there were many scribbles here, he could read easily.

Gaju glanced towards Tian who wrote 'secret' for his own score. Tian knew what Gaju's gaze meant and chuckled as he stuck out his tongue.
"Tian has already given the bottom line to other candidates who have actually become Fighters or Strategists with attribute values reaching 5.0, according to Gaju, which is the most dangerous pair?" ask Tian.
Without thinking Gaju immediately replied, "Aju and Adel, they are perfect couple."
"Humphs. I hate that Red Skin, but I have to admit that they have a chance to be the best couple," Tian said, he did have a grudge against Adel who always called him Dada Rata.
"Tian, I don't think we need to be the best. Our main goal is to survive. And even though Aju-Adel is the strongest pair, they are not a threat to us" Gaju said slowly.
Tian speechless.
He snorted in annoyance but did not refute Gaju's words. There's no way Adel would be a threat to Gaju. The Red Skin was eager to snatch the Tian soulmate.

Third Stage, Day 3.
Tian opened his eyes and glanced towards the sofa that was in his room. Gaju wasn't there.
Tian wriggled and relaxed his body then moved down from the mattress and intended to clean himself in the bathroom.
Tian walked into the bathroom and then he started taking off his clothes and faced the mirror.
They're all 12 years old now. The age may be very young for children wherever they are, but not for candidates on the Island.
Emotionally, they may still be children. But it is covered by thinking skills that are several times smarter than normal people.
Like Tian, what exactly is his IC score?
When Tian first took the test for the Intelligence Capability score assessment, he scored 2.85, the best among the 40 candidates on the Island and made him the smartest candidate.
As time went on and the aftermath of all the genetic serums that helped him improve his brain abilities, now IC Tian's attribute was the highest on the Island, he said, 5.4 With an average PA attribute value of 2.4.
But, that was not all that made Tian now feel worried and sad in the bathroom.
All his brain intelligence is useless to deal with the problems that are now in front of him.
Tian could only stare sadly at his reflection that was in front of the mirror. Beautiful oriental face. Straight hair that is black and shiny. White skin is clean and flawless.
And the chest that only shows a little bulge there.
That was what made this Beautiful Genius again sigh deeply.
"Should I ask the Society if they have a breast-growth genetic serum?" lamented Tian.
For affairs like this, it was indeed as if Tian had forgotten all of his logic and intelligence.

Gaju was sweating when he entered the room.
Tian did not ask. He knows where his soulmate is from. His morning exercise routine. Something that Tian thought was completely ineffective and just a waste of time.
Over the past few days, Tian has been investigating what was the reason the Island conducted the Elimination Test when they were all 12 years old and the answer is that the maximum period of genetic development is before the age of 12.
After this they will still grow rapidly, but only develop, maturing their physique without any meaningful change at the genetic level.
The First Stage is used by the Island to lay the initial foundation.
Second stage for optimal genetic development. The island provided a genetic serum to enhance the initial foundation earlier.
The Third Stage should be more towards physical and psychological maturation only.
Therefore, the Elimination Exam was held. To prepare for the psychological condition of the Candidates and tell them, that failure will inevitably lead to death on the Island.
Tian disagrees with Gaju's physical training, but he doesn't forbid it. He thinks Gaju must have his own reasons why he did it.
After all, Tian had suspected that Gaju's intelligence level might be the same or even more than his own.
"How's your training going?" tian asked as he tidied up his clothes after the shower earlier.
"As usual" replied Gaju.
"Bring first, we have breakfast in the cafeteria" Tian said slowly.
Gaju nodded his head and grabbed the clothes and towels that Tian had prepared.
Shortly after, the two of them had already walked side by side towards the Canteen.
As usual, Red Skin Adel waited for Gaju in the corridor that connected Dormitory with Canteen.
Aju was invisible to him.
Tian immediately put up a face of war and the fighting happened just like the other days between Tian and Adel.
Same routine and happens every day.
The three of them and probably all of the Candidates on the Island had not known that this was their last day enjoying their leisure time on the Island.
At a time when all Candidates had started to forget the cruelty and tragic fate of the Elimination Exam a few days ago, the horrors of the Third Stage were just about to begin.
