Gaju - One
Chapter 37 - The Beast

Tia laughing.

"Songnam, what do you think is the main task of the explorer team I propose?" tanya Tia flat.

"Searching for resources for the team from the Forest right?" ask Songnam.

"That's one of them" replied Tia.

"You're smart, you should know more than that, or you're just pretending you don't know?" ask Tia.

Songnam.

"Resources are the most important thing for us. But there's something more important. Mapping," continued Tia because Songnam was just speechless.

"We need mapping contour and terrain around the Complex. Little by little. Continues to spread more and more. Including mapping the potential dangers that we may face from the Forest," continued Tia.

"We all know that the beasts in the Forest are mostly territorial. They occupy a certain area. To recognize their habitat, to recognize their features, do you think Gasa's analytical abilities are enough?"

"Not to mention to pour all the information obtained during exploration. Which area has resources, which area is a danger zone. All this information we need from the explorer team. You want to risk the safety of the entire team for your own ego?" tanya Tia ended her long explanation.

Everyone is silent.

Now they know that perhaps the team they need most and most importantly for Team Koga is the Explorer Team.

"But I'm just an Advisor. It's my job to give advice and thought to this team. The decision is in the hands of the Leader" Tia continued and threw a hot ball at Koga.

Koga smile.

"No more discussions. We follow Tia's plan. You all understand?" ask Koga.

The twelve then nodded their heads and could only pray. Hopefully they won't be selected as members of Songnam's Explorer team.

"Professor, will this be okay according to our program?" ask a Manager to the Professor who observes several large screens in the control room in the Management Complex.

"Leave it, '" replied the short professor.

"What about Empty soulmate Lima who actually joined the group Empty Three?" ask the manager again.

"Hehehehe. He made the decision. Let him himself see the consequences of his actions" replied the Professor.

"Group? The group? Just because you are weak, you are in groups. There is no such thing as protecting each other. Groups and rules are only made to benefit the leader and his cronies. Naive boys," murmured the Professor.

He was seen thinking for a while then glancing towards the group of four people and was seen preparing their overnight place on the tree.

"Three monsters and one enigma, prove to me that the best soldiers can indeed be created with this Program" said the Professor.

"Because the four of you have the potential to damage the balance that exists in the Island. I'll give you a gift" he continued.

"Let go of mutated creature level 3 into the Forest," the Professor ordered shortly afterwards.

The manager looked surprised.

"Professor?" the manager's face was filled with question marks.

"You didn't hear my words? Let them go" the professor ordered again.

The Manager just nodded his head and looked at the members working in the control room.

"Start the release procedure of mutated creation level 3. Do it in the count of three" he commanded his men.

"Three... Two... One... Release!!!"

At the same time in several places.

The originally flat surface of the ground suddenly split apart. The hemisphere moved sideways slowly and revealed a cage made of iron.

In the cage there is a creature that is a combination of Lion and Eagle, has the body of a Lion but the head of an Eagle. The strange beast also had two wings beside its body. Lovers of fantasy stories can definitely identify this strange creature.

The iron cage then slowly came out of the ground and went up. Like a creature with intelligence. The Griffin stood on his four legs and looked towards the sky and the open air around him.

The door of the iron cage opened slowly and the Griffin walked slowly out of the cage.

As he stood outside the cage and now enjoying the freedom, Griffin turned his head towards the iron cage and he raised his head up.

"Aaaaaaaaakkkkk," the deafening howl of the Eagle rang out loud.

Wussshhhhhhh.

A flash of shadow then disappeared from that place, leaving an empty cage and slowly re-entering the ground. Leaving no marks at all.

The same thing happened in several other places in the forest.

All the candidates did not know that this Forest was no longer the same as before.

Gaju, Tian, Aju, and Adel were seen busy preparing their beds on the tree.

Indeed, choosing to sleep at a height still has a decent risk, but the risk is much smaller than if you spend the night down there.

Gaju finished putting up Tian's hammock and he jumped onto the branch next to it to put up his own.

"Wear, what are you thinking?" ask Tian.

"Hmm? Meanin?" ask Gaju.

"Tian knows you, something's bothering you, right?" ask Tian.

Gaju took a deep breath.

"Tian, everything taught by the Island has its own purpose. This is also the third stage. I don't know why I always think about the lessons of the Beast Classification that were taught in the first stage" replied Gaju.

"I mean Gaju?" ask Tian.

"Tree Tigers and Leaf Snakes, they are only classified with a level 4 hazard threat. There are 3 more levels on it. Could it be that animals with a higher level of danger exist within the Forest?" muttered Gaju.

"Hmmm," Tian seemed to be thinking hard.

"If you think so. Then there's Dragon dong in this forest?" continued Tian while chuckling.

Gaju also smiled.

Dragons, ferocious beasts classified with a level 1 danger threat, looked impossible to live within a Forest that was only half the size of this Island.

"Forget it, maybe I'm too paranoid" Gaju replied.

"OKAY. Have good night. We continue tomorrow morning," Tian said with a sweet smile.

The two teenagers then went into each other's hammock close to each other and closed their eyes. But the sound shocked them both.

"Keling!! How anyway? I haven't finished installing my hammock yet?"

Gaju and Tian smiled wryly.

"Adel, lower your voice! You want to tell the whole forest that we're sleeping here?" gerutu Tian's.

"Humph," replied Adel who might have been exhausted to argue with Tian after doing it all day.

Gaju stood up then nimbly jumped onto Adel's branch.

"Here, let me help you" said Gaju.

"Thank you" Aju replied quickly.

Adel smiled sweetly and stood next to Gaju while waiting for Gaju to put up his bed.
