Chapter 105 - Shoot!!
Half an hour after Tulan and Aso escaped from the Complex, a notification sound was heard from the mini computers of each Candidate. All Candidates who saw the series of events that had just happened on the grass field that limited the Complex and Forest could guess what the notification was.
“Day 1 Third Stage Exam.”
“Congratulations to the pairs of Three Five and Three Six for successfully escaping to the next Stage for having eliminated pairs One Nine and Two Empty.”
“Welcome to fight for other Candidates.”
Gama is the fastest candidate to make it to the next stage since the Third Stage Examination began, of course if Gaju is not taken into account.
Until now, two couples have escaped to the next stage, Gaju-Tian and Gama-Tien.

On the second floor where Songnam and Tien were.
“How does it feel?” ask Songnam.
“What do you mean?” tien asked in a cold tone.
“How does it feel to just be quiet and do nothing, but you can get through to the next stage. Even when you're no longer beside Gama,” asked Songnam.
“You think you're different. Koma will also do the same for you!!” shout Tien.
“I won't let him do that,” replied Songnam short then he left this room.

Songlan stood up and folded her hands in front of her chest. Just like Koma, he saw everything just now. Since Gama showed himself, fight against Koga and eventually chase after the Tulan-Aso pair.
Unlike Gama, Koma, or even Adel who came here without a clear purpose for his hunt, another Songlan. He had already killed the Duma, he only had to finish off Aen alone to escape to the next stage. And that's what he's gonna do.
Aen was an average Candidate. The only feature that might make him striking from the rest is that he is of Middle Eastern descent.
Unlike other Candidates who might be able to blend in easily due to physical similarities, Aen is often excluded, even though physically, she is beautiful and unique.
There are several other Candidates who have the same fate as Aen, for example Adel who is of Latin descent and Gama who is of Negro descent. They are also one of a kind on the island. No one else has the same genetic traits as the two of them.
But unlike Aen who has average abilities, they are both candidates who are extra ordinary. They managed to rank in the top three during the First Stage and even got the nickname the Monster Candidate with Koga and the others.
And Aen himself? With his natural talent being only average, no other Candidate noticed him. Even Aen had felt that she was considered non-existent by the other Candidates.
Until Adel reached out to him.
Yes, Adel. If there was one person who could be considered Aen's best friend on the Island, he was Adel. The two of them were very close during the First Stage. And all of that ended when the Soulmate program was introduced.
Aen's partner is the Duma. The Duma himself had more or less the same luck as Aen. Due to his fate and misery, Aen and Duma easily intertwine and truly fall in love.
Adel also meets Aju. The pair are dubbed as the strongest couple on the Island because of their individual abilities.
Over time, Adel and Aen's relationship grew. Aen follows her lover to join Team Koga, while Aju and Adel pursue a pseudo-dream in the Forest.
But, Aen's happiness stops when the Duma leaves the Complex and goes on a mission to hunt down Gaju due to the lure of bonus points that make Koga greedy. That was the last chance for Aen to see Koga.
After years of no news, Aen knew that the Duma would not return.
Slowly but surely, Aen's personality changed. He became a body without soul and a container without contents, until this very second.
The complex was again gripped by silence.
The coma was still patiently waiting in the darkness.
Adel folded his hands in front of his chest and stood next to Tsa who had been enjoying her food.
Koga hid in his throne in one of the rooms on the first floor of the building, healing his wounds.
Gasa and Tia were still watching everything from a distance, like an angler wanting to get a catch when the water became murky and everyone was off guard.
Everything's quiet.
Suddenly, the silence was broken by the loud blaring sounds of screams emanating from the Forest. A shout that more resembled the roar of a savage beast.
“Roaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr.”
A shadow then shot out from the Forest and quickly stood in the middle of the grass field while shaking its waist. A teenage boy with Chinese features and disheveled looking hair is now seen to be there.
“Koga. I didn't come here to get in trouble with you. I just want two people, my soulmate and Aen,” Songlan to pause and wait for Koga's reaction.
Sako who was standing with Aen and Em looked towards Songlan with a trembling body. He could not guess what purpose Songlan had asked him and Aen for.
Aen who had been seen staring blankly was suddenly shocked when she heard Songlan's loud voice thundering earlier. Aen quickly looked towards Songlan and a name came out of her mouth.
“Duma..”.
Without considering his safety or anything, Aen suddenly jumped forward and hit the window of the Building on the 1st floor. As fast as lightning, Aen darted towards Songlan who was in the middle of the grass field and stood arrogantly.
When Aen reached Songlan, she immediately grabbed hold of Songlan's shirt and with her hands and body shaking Aen looked at Songlan expectantly, “Songlan, you survived after so many years. What about the Duma? Where is she?”
Songlan looked startled for a moment then she quickly managed to regain control of herself. Songlan then smiled cynically towards Aen who was in front of her.
Songlan bowed her head forward and said, “I killed Duma.”
Aen was like being struck by lightning upon hearing Songlan's words. He immediately sat down limp on the ground and his eyes returned blank with no more rays of life. The hope that had appeared earlier when he saw Songlan coming, was now destroyed was no longer left.
“That's why I asked you to come with me. I already killed the Duma, after I killed you, doesn't that mean I'll get through to the next stage?” songlan said loudly accompanied by a loud laugh and shook this place.
Aen seemed to no longer care about all Songlan's words. He just sat down and was on the ground. There was absolutely no desire for life to be seen in his eyes.
“It seems, you've given up. I will help you end this quickly,” Songlan muttered as she raised her hand.
A moment later, the hand moved down and pointed towards Aen's head. With Songlan's physical abilities, Aen's head would definitely break instantly like a watermelon being hit with a brick.
Songlan's hand moved quickly once and only a few centimeters away was about to hit Aen's head when suddenly a very loud and deafening hissing sound rang out loud and headed towards Songlan.
Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
The danger!!
Only that one word flashed through Songlan's body. His body screamed warning of a danger that came suddenly, quickly and threatened his life. Without thinking long Songlan immediately jumped back and did not care about Aen, because her life was more important.
An object shot very fast and even because of the rapid speed, Songlan could not clearly see the form of the object. Only a white glint shot out a few centimeters from where he was standing earlier.
“What was it?” songlan muttered that suddenly just felt a drop of cold sweat running down her back.
