Chapter 26 - Needles

Adel had guessed that they had managed to find Gaju and Tian's hideout by accident. Therefore he put on a careless face and enjoyed the fruit that was in the basket without caring to Aju who was moaning in pain.

A loud sound of leaves being hit by something sounded. From the trunk of the tree where Adel and Aju fell, a Snake's head poked between the leaves.

If not considered carefully, people will be very easy to miss the green snake that resembles green leaves.

The Leaf Snake stuck his tongue out at the four of them. They knew the snake was not mocking them. The Snake uses its two-pronged tongue to map the position of its prey.

Gaju had expected that, if the Leaf Snake hunted with body heat, the Tree Tiger feces he scattered would be useless.

The Serpent Leaf lowered her body slowly and twisted the horizontal twigs that were on the tree.

Gaju pulled out 6 acupuncture needles he held with both hands.3 in the left hand and 3 in the right hand. Gaju clasped the 3 needles between his fingers. At first glance, similar to adamantium claw has Wolverine in the X-Man series.

The Leaf Snake fell to the ground and its body was writhing in pain. He rolled around on the ground and hissed nonstop.

Soon, he slapped his tail in all directions and damaged everything around him.

Gaju and the other three candidates retreated and kept their distance from the Snake that was rampaging on the ground.

"Shirt, what did you do to that snake?" adel asked towards Gaju.

"I pierced his left eye with this" said Gaju slowly as he showed two needles in his right hand.

The other three candidates shuddered in horror at what it felt like for the 10 cm long needle to pierce their eyes.

"Mmmm, then, when will he die?" ask Tian.

Gaju glanced at Tian with a puzzled look, "dead? There's never been a story about people dying because their eyes were hurt, right? There he's just gonna be blind."

The three of them then glanced towards the Leaf Snake who was still writhing in pain on the ground. And somehow the three of them felt sorry for the Snake, for they were now conscious. The painful wound that the Snake received due to the prick of the needle Gaju to his left eye, whether the pain ended and the Snake will not die from the wound.

They simultaneously glanced at Gaju and the silver needle in his hand, "if the Gaju nancepin the needle into my body?" and they shuddered in horror at imagining it.
