Gaju - One
Chapter 66 - True Winner

The monkey stood up quickly and jumped up agilely. Do not be fooled by its appearance that looks small and not so big, the Tailless Monkey has incredible stamina, a characteristic of primate-class mammals.

"Sssssshhhhh," the Leaf Snake slid to the side and entered into the bushes quickly after its attack successfully hit the body of the Tailless Monkey.

Trying to fight openly with a Tailless Monkey? Only in dreams.

The Leaf Snake knew very well that the main advantage of the Tailless Monkey other than its stamina was the agility or agility of the creature.

The trick used by the Leaf Snake is to do hide and attack aka guerrilla attack.

The monkey looked around him vigilantly. He watched the movements of the leaves carefully and meticulously, no matter how agile the Leaf Snake moved between the leaves, he must have set a trail and the Monkey intended to make use of it.

Grussakkkkk.

The Monkey immediately jumped away when he heard the sound of leaves moving without thinking at all.

When he saw the object that was hurtling towards him, the Monkey was surprised, not the Snake, but a tree that flew across under his body.

"Kiiikkkk."

The monkey suffocated in shock when he realized there was a gaping mouth waiting for him down there.

He might be confused as to how the Leaf Snake did the trick. But, puzzled and instinctive survival was completely unrelated to the Monkey, with a quick movement he grabbed the wooden trunk floating beneath him with his feet and gripped it firmly.

The Monkey's mouth smirked vilely when it managed to do so. He intended to use the trick used by the Leaf Snake to finish him off.

The monkey held the tree trunk that had been thrown with his feet and plunged it down. The Leaf Snake looked at the Monkey manouver with its eyes wide in fear.

The plan that he neatly arranged, actually now backfired for him. He tried to close his jaw but his movements were quickly defeated by the Monkey's attack.

Crassssssshhhh.

The trunk of the tree went into the mouth of the wide-gaping Leaf Snake. Instead of the body of the Monkey he ate, the wooden rod that now plunged into his mouth.

The Leaf Snake groaned in pain and clenched its jaws, but the Monkey moved faster and more agilely using the log that was now inside the Leaf Snake's mouth as a foothold.

The Tailless Monkey landed quietly in front of the Leaf Snake wriggling in pain with a wooden rod the size of his body that was now stuck into his stomach and made him unable to clench his jaw.

Koma watched everything carefully. His right hand grabbed onto the dagger he had in his hand. He moved slowly and took a crouching sitting posture with one leg down. Prepare to launch his attack with his instant movement.

His target? The Tailless Monkey, a level 4 savage beast that looked to have managed to win this fight with his ingenuity.

The Leaf Snake wriggled in pain on the ground and rolled here and there. He tried to clench his jaw but was hampered by a log that was now in his mouth.

He also tried to escape, but could not. Snakes have no legs, the only way to move on the ground is by flattening, and the log prevents it from bending over its body.

The Leaf Snake looked towards the Tailless Monkey with a resigned gaze. A small mistake he had to pay for with his life.

The Tailless Monkey grinned and looked towards the Leaf Snake with a vile gaze.

It's the wild.

Only the strongest and able to take advantage of every chance to win would be able to survive. And this fight again reminded the Tailless Monkey of that fact.

But.

Instinct that he had from earlier screamed loudly for a threatening danger. That was why the Tailless Monkey decided to wait and not get close to his enemy who was writhing in fear.

He thought that the threat of danger eyeing him and screaming without stopping was from the Leaf Snake who was now groaning in pain in front of him.

The Leaf Serpent's wriggling is getting weaker and the look in his eyes now looks resigned. The Tailless Monkey still stared at the Leaf Snake with a look of caution before, but after seeing the dead eyes of the Leaf Snake, even though his instinct still warned of the threat of danger that never stopped, The Tailless Monkey was now not as stiff as before and let go of his cautious attitude.

And suddenly the Monkey felt an excruciating pain just a moment after he relaxed and released his vigilance.

"Knikk?" The monkey glanced at the source of the pain and an object stuck in his left chest.

He did not see or feel when the attack had come but it had sank in his chest and pierced right into his heart which was in his left chest.

"Kiiiikkk?" The monkey endured the pain and his eyes began to blur.

The Tailless Monkey also began to feel that his strength was slowly dissipating. But he tried to look around him and try to find the suspect who attacked him.

Koma walked slowly and came out of hiding.

With incredible speed, Koma executed his attacks accurately and perfectly.

Flawless.

Attack, noiseless, lightning-fast, and on target. One attack, one kill, without mistakes.

The Leaf Snake saw everything and hissed softly. Highlight his eyes looked delighted with the misfortune that had just befallen his enemy. His martial will was inescapable, but seeing his enemy accompany him, the Leaf Snake was delighted.

The real winner of this fight was neither himself nor the Tailless Monkey, but the creature that had just shown itself.

The creature was smaller in size than him and the Monkey, but managed to take a chance in narrowness.

Two bodies of beasts collapsed without lives shortly afterwards.

Koma walked up to the two bodies and took the existing points from them.

"178 points. Hmmm," muttered Koma slowly.

Without thinking long, Koma knows the difference in points he has with the Top Skorer whose name is always echoed by the Island through his mini computer notification system.

"125 points more" Koma murmured softly as he looked towards the West.

He came from the east side and he knew his quarry was on the west side. Although no one told him, but instinct Koma said so.

Regardless of the two corpses of the nearby level 4 beasts, the shadow of Koma disappeared from the place.

Just like the time he came, soundless and very fast. The speed that until now was considered the number one on the Island, even defeating the speed of the strongest Monster Koga.
