Chapter 58 - Survivor

"Huft," Gaju took a deep breath.

On the fourth day of the Third Stage, his first day of hunting, Gaju obtained the treasure from the Griffin Cave and obtained 73 points without any effort.

An implant that at first glance looks useless, this item does not provide meaningful increase in ability to the wearer, not strength, not speed and also not agility.

This implant also does not provide additional brain capabilities to the wearer, which of course is not needed by Gaju.

The description given is very simple, adding new cell regeneration speed for the wearer.

Just that, short and simple, might even make the other Candidates squint, but for Gaju, it was, this implant was an item he should have if he had enough points in the future.

But, is Gaju a puppet that will only remain silent when his enemy attacks? Sure didn't.

Gaju will also do everything possible to minimize the injuries he will suffer in a fight.

But, Gaju also realized, he would not be able to avoid injuries while fighting. That's an impossibility.

Therein lies the true usefulness of the Undying Implant, healing the light and medium wounds that he would definitely receive while fighting. This will make Gaju able to fight for a longer duration.

How fast can the wound healing process be done by Undying Implant? Gaju did not know yet, but he was sure that Island placed this item in the class 2 category not without reason.

Undying Implant is categorized as a Class 2 item with a fantastic price of 1300 points. Much higher than the Iron Man Suit targeted by Gama which is still in the Class 3 item category.

For now, the Island is still blocking the item data in the Class 1 item row, but Gaju is suspicious if there may, just maybe, the Island has a next level upgrade from the Undying Implant.

Maybe an Implant Immortal?

Implant that will make the wearer can heal from wounds as severe as anything?

Wouldn't if Gaju had such a god-level Implant, his own Class Survivor creation would be complete and fulfilled?

Gaju took a deep breath and released it slowly.

For himself, who was confident in his logic and psychological state, still able to be provoked in his delusion and imagination, Gaju could not imagine the temptation that other Candidates would receive in the same condition.

"If you want to get something, get ready to lose your points, too" he continued, stepping away toward the new field he would use to hunt for points.
