Gaju - One

Gaju - One
Chapter 19 - Blindspot

Day1430

Gaju was lying on the beach that afternoon. Not feeling it, he had been a Tian soulmate for almost two years.

There's a lot they've been through, but Gaju still can't completely trust Tian. Gaju never told about the ability of photographic memory he had nor about his physical abilities after using acupuncture techniques hundreds of times during these two years.

Gaju has also long stopped using a strength meter machine to test the strength of his punch.

Gaju is not so foolish as to believe that the Manager did not install any tools to record the Candidates' test results. So Gaju also does not know with certainty how much his strength is worth.

But, Gaju is convinced that his current physical abilities are not inferior to those of Koga, the strongest monster on the Island.

Gaju took a deep breath.

In his spare time, Gaju often thought of the purpose of everything the Managers did by educating the Candidates in this way.

The first stage, in Gaju's opinion is the build up stage. Candidates are given all skills according to their respective talents.

Unlimited knowledge for the Strategists and physical abilities for the Fighters. In addition, the Manager also provided a genetic serum that greatly helped the Candidates to motivate them all.

The second stage, Gaju still does not understand the true purpose of the Management for this stage.

The soulmate?

Does the Manager want the Candidates to have children?

They were all 10-year-old boys. Perhaps psychically the Candidates can be more mature, with intelligence above average, it is natural that they can think more mature.

But physically it still hasn't been done. Not worth consuming yet. So Gaju also eliminated this option.

"Shirt," Tian came and sat down next to Gaju who was still lying down.

Gaju glanced at the little girl beside him. Two years, sounds like a long time, but after all, it feels fast. Just like a pounding wave on the beach in front of them or the blowing of the sea breeze that hit their faces.

Tian had now also started to show his superior qualities as a girl. She grows and looks more beautiful. Children's strokes also begin to disappear replaced by juvenile strokes.

But, there was one that kept Tian low on himself. His chest still showed no signs of development beginning. There was indeed a slight mound there, but it could not be at all to be called a woman's treasure.

Gaju and Tian are now almost 12 years old.

Ten more days, they will take the Elimination Examination as the Society had told them two years ago.

During these two years, Gaju and Tian had also been doing various activities together. But Tian knew that there was still a wall between him and Gaju.

But at least now Gaju no longer keep his distance from Tian and let himself into the personal area of Gaju.

"What do you think this Elimination Test will look like?" whispered Tian slowly while enjoying the sun sinking in the western horizon there.

Gaju who fell asleep on the beach sand without caring about the sand that hit his body just fell silent.

"Tian, you really don't know or just pretend?" answer Gaju with a question.

"You think?" tian said as he turned his gaze and looked towards Gaju.

Tian then lowered his head and his face was directly above Gaju's face. Tian smiled sweetly as Gaju was troubled by Tian's long hair dangling down and hitting Gaju's face.

"You know the answer but you're afraid to admit it" whispered Gaju slowly.

"Shirt, you're smarter than me. I know that and you are also aware of that," Tian replied.

"You can easily guess what I'm thinking, but I don't really know what's inside your head."

"Over these two years, have you still not trusted me?" tian said.

Gaju was silent, "I don't know. I want to trust you completely, but.."

Tian waited for Gaju to finish his sentence, but the sentence did not come out of Gaju's lips.

Tian took a deep breath. He lifted his face and sat down next to Gaju. This time, Tian sat curled up and hugged his own legs.

"Two years, and I still can't make you fully trust me, yet" Tian murmured softly.

"It's not your fault, the problem is with myself" replied Gaju.

They both fell silent. Silent for a long time and enjoying the time they were both in silence without words until the sun sank perfectly in the distance.

"Tian, do you know why this place has been my favorite place for over two years?" tanya Gaju broke the silence between them.

"Because the view is beautiful?" tian replied without thinking.

"Tian, you don't think the reason is because of that right?" said Gaju.

Tian then circulated his eyes around. Tian had never thought about it. But Tian had to admit that he did feel that while in this place, he could be more relaxed and as if apart from all the eyes that were always watching his movements.

Tian, who was already worthy of being a strategist two years ago, suddenly seemed shocked by the electric shock when he realized an idea that was very unreasonable but felt real in his head.

Blindspot!!!!

Tian and many other candidates, especially those who chose the Strategist path, had suspected long ago that the Society had deliberately placed hidden surveillance cameras in various places to watch over them.

Therefore, Tian felt that it was a matter of fairness when wherever he was on the Island, he would always feel supervised.

But.

Without him knowing, this is a favorite place for Gaju to practice and spend time is a blindspot. A notch among the wilderness that escaped from the shackles of the eyes of the Managers.

And the next second, Tian got his second electric shock as he remembered that Gaju had already used this point to train since they had not become soulmates yet.

That means from the beginning Gaju knew that everything he did in this place was free from the supervision of the Manager.

Tian's body suddenly shook. Free from the supervision of the Manager. That means, if Gaju wants to, he can do whatever he likes here.

Including killing Tian.

Unknown and without any punishment.

"You know now why I can't trust you or anyone on the island?" said Gaju.

"From the beginning I knew that we were all going to kill each other, this place was part of my plan to survive on the Island" Gaju continued.

"To stay alive, I can only believe in myself."

"Because that's why I've been shutting myself down so I don't get in touch with anyone."
