Aju fell silent after opening a routine notification from her mini computer that already resembled breakfast that morning. How not, every morning, every day, the same notification is always received. And all of them always mention one Candidate who managed to rank first.

“Huft,” grunts Adel, “Intinya, to save Tian, Gaju makes a deal with Professor. He must accept the conditions put forward by the Professor. The conditions are twofold, paying 1000 points for medical treatment to Tian and being the target of all Candidates on the Island.”

Half an hour later, an object in the shape of a pentagon and made of a transparent object was seen held by Adel.

"According to the technical instructions given earlier, to wear this implant, you just have to put it to the left chest where your heart is," Adel said slowly.

"You sure?" ask Aju.

"Yes. That's how you use a berserker implant" Adel replied.

"OK, give it to me," said Aju as she extended her hand towards Adel.

Adel then gave the implant to Aju who now had undressed his camouflage and showed his left chest.

Aju took a deep breath and seemed to be rounding off his resolve. Then he brought the transparent pentagon closer to his chest.

There was no reaction when Aju brought the object closer to his body slowly, even when it stuck to Aju's chest, there was absolutely no reaction.

"Adel, nothing happened? Is the way right?" ask Aju.

Adel was also confused, but he had not had time to answer a word, the implant suddenly reacted.

From the tip of the limb appeared a small and sharp bulge resembling a thorn. Then the thorn pierced into Aju's chest and made her moan in pain.

Then, from the five ends of the thorns, the red liquid that seemed to be Aju's blood seeped slowly and gathered in the middle of the pentagon-shaped implant.

"Implant can be activated with a mini computer by the host and will stop working automatically after a duration of 30 minutes."

When Aju heard the notification, she clenched her hands up and shouted out loud.

"I'm a Berserker now!!"
