Chapter 80 - Break Even

Third Stage, Day 39.

A ferocious beast ran quickly from the pursuit of something.

"I don't want to make the Candidates in the Complex wary" Gaju said, ending his explanation as he walked closer to the Cheetah's carcass.

A notification rang out from Gaju's mini computer when he was less than 1 m away from the Cheetah's body.

Gaju smiled widely and quickly looked towards the mini computer on his left wrist.

"Finally!!" yelled Gajub as he clenched his hand upwards.

Tian smiled happily as he looked at Gaju's cheerful face. All this time, Tian had always been haunted by his guilt. Because Gaju went through all this to save himself.

"Contact Professor!" gaju flat said.

Tian was a little shocked. He did not know that mini computers could be used for communication devices.

Beeping.

There was a small sound from Gaju's mini computer. Shortly after, a very familiar robotic voice sounded from that thing.

"Connecting..."

Not until the count of 10 seconds a notification was heard again.

"Connected."

Gaju and Tian fell silent with tense faces.

"Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. My boy..."

The voice of someone who sounded familiar was heard from Gaju's mini computer.

The Professor.

"Professor.." murmured Gaju slowly.

"Okay, what's wrong? Do you know that the communication feature has not been active until this stage? But especially for you Gaju, I made an exception, "the Professor replied with a small laugh.

"Stop this shit. You know the reason why I called you" replied Gaju coldly.

"Mahaha..." Professor laughed out loud across the street.
