Chapter 20 - Elimination Begins

Dt-1441.

The day after four years Candidates are on the Island.

The forty candidates were behind the Complex and were dealing with the wilderness that was in front of them.

They knew that today was the time for the elimination test, but they did not expect that they would be invited to the back of the Complex by the Manager.

The six pairs of candidates only laughed bitterly at the joke of the Professor.

The Professor then glanced at Koga who stood with Em, "Koga, will I show you a quick walk so that there is no need to enter the forest but can go straight to Stage Three?" ask the Professor to Koga.

Koga nodded his head and smiled politely. He knew who the man in front of him was. Everybody knows. And they must obey.

The Professor laughed happily and nodded his head at Koga and Em, "it's easy, kill them, kill them," the Professor said flatly as he pointed towards the 3 pairs of Candidates who did not dare to enter the forest, "one for one. soulmate for soulmate."

"If you kill a pair of candidates with both hands. You and your soulmate automatically escaped to Stage Three. Easy right?" the professor said in a flat tone as if they were talking about the life of a chicken.

Koga looked doubtful, while Em looked towards the three pairs of candidates who were near them with a look of pity. They will not be able to win against Koga.

While Koga was still in doubt, the sound of a child in a carefree tone broke the tense atmosphere in that place.

"Does that offer apply to me, Professor?" ask Gama, the Genius.

The professor glanced at Gama and chuckled, "Gama, you know why I didn't offer you first?" ask Professor.

Gama laughed at the Professor's words, "because fellow geniuses always think alike. And the Professor knows that I will kill them without hesitation. So the Professor wouldn't offer me first because it would be very boring. Is that right, Professor?"

"Hahahaha," Professor laughed loudly at Gama's reply.

After that Professor and Gama looked at each other and they both said, "i'm a genius," puffing their chests together.

All the candidates in that place felt their hair goosebumps when they saw the two people.

One mad Professor is enough to make an island like this. What if there is another one of the same crazy Professor candidates?
