Chapter 35 - Rivalry

Tian, the bloody Chinese girl who became the idol of the candidates was seen walking with her head slightly raised.

He was happy to finally avenge his crushing defeat of the Red Skin.

"Humph, you just win in the physical, Gaju and I think the same. We'll see what you're trying to get my Gaju," Tian muttered inwardly.

Gaju walked while looking around him closely. He's 'mapping' all the areas they've been through.

Aju used her machete and walked on the front. Adel walked beside Gaju and Tian.

"We want to go back to Basecamp on the Elimination Test first? The place was perfect for a defensive base," Tian asked towards Gaju.

"I think that place is too close to the Complex. Exam time, we choose it because the conditions do not allow to explore further into the Forest," replied Gaju.

"What's on your mind for our permanent basecamp?" adel asked towards Gaju.

"Hey, why are you asking Gaju? He's not a strategist, is he?" aju protests who feel like they are being born into this group.

"Shut up!!" tian and Adel shouted simultaneously towards the Keling.

Aju turned her lips around and refocused her on opening the way for their group. He slashed the shroud even stronger, as if wanting to vent his irritation on that innocent plant.

Gaju was a little surprised too. Both girls who resemble dogs and cats can be compact this time.

Gaju grimaced wryly. Wrong efforts make them more familiar.

Gaju walked faster and approached Aju, "Aju, borrow your machete. Let me take your place" said Gaju.

"Keling, what are you doing here? There!! Keep 3 meters away from me!" sadistic Adel shouted and forgot for a moment his children's debate with Tian.

Tian made no comment but ran over to Gaju who was now on duty to open the road.

"So, what kind of basecamp is Gaju looking for?" tian asked quietly while looking towards Gaju.

"A high place. It can look in all directions and close to water sources" Gaju said.

"Good, we can also later arrange a schedule to keep watch alternately," replied Tian.

The four of them then continued their journey to the middle of the Forest.

The two of them were now in the classroom that had been transformed into the main headquarters of Team Koga.

"The Tian Group left the Complex a few hours ago towards the Forest," Songlan replied.

"I couldn't find any trace of Koma and Gama" he continued.

"What about the rest of the group?" ask Songlan.

"Let them gather all the resources that are useful and can be found in the Complex. Food, medicine, clothes, weapons, everything. Collect one and place it in the side room. Make the side room as our storage. Who are the Team members that have the highest IC?" ask Koga.

Songlan seemed to think for a while, "The one with the highest IC in our Team is probably Tia" he replied.

"Make Tia meet me now" Koga said.

"OK," Songlan replied shortly and immediately left their headquarters.

Soon a beautiful girl named Tia entered the room hesitantly. Tia had rarely interacted with Koga before. You could even say Tia was Tian's best friend. That was why he hesitated a little when Songlan told him that Koga wanted to talk to him.

Koga smiled at Tia's behavior.

"Tia, are you afraid of me?" ask Koga.

Tia did not answer.

"I know how you feel. But, you have to be aware of one thing, we are now one Team. And I have a principle that my teammates should trust and protect each other. So you don't have to worry around me" said Koga, trying to show his leadership spirit.

Tia was a little relieved when she heard Koga's words just now.

He might not have trusted the words of the strongest candidate on the Island who escaped by slaughtering other Candidates like himself, but for now, it was, Tia did not find any reason why Koga should be hostile to her.

Tia nodded her head quickly.
