Gaju - One

Gaju - One
Chapter 55 - Treasure

Third Stage, Day 5.

It's the fifth day and Gaju already feels for himself the horrors of surviving inside the Forest.

Since parting ways with Aju and Adel yesterday afternoon, Gaju no longer wants to gamble with his life and safety.

Without any more Candidates eyes watching him, Gaju released his Limiter and quickly moved within the Forest.

For the early stages, he had no intention of hunting, but mapped the condition of the Forest first. Little by little, Gaju managed to save the memory and condition of the terrain in an area of 3 kilometers from the Mountain where they had climbed this morning.

After the mapping he did was completed, Gaju returned to the starting point where all these fights had previously started. Where, Gaju spied on the clearing that was on that slope.

His reason?

Gaju knows that Griffin is keeping a treasure. Not in the form of wealth, but in the form of points. The points stemming from the carcass of a creature that was the victim of Griffin's ferocity yesterday were seen by Gaju and led to a hidden section of the Mountain slope he had scouted yesterday, before the fight with Griffin began.

Judging from the traces and scars of the existing fight, Gaju found at least more than 5 tails of level 4 creature in the class of Tree Tigers and Leaf Snakes. And Gaju also believes that Griffin does not know the points system and takes it, right?

Gaju was also convinced, other than the mutated creture level 4 he had managed to identify, there were at least many level 5 ordinary beasts also buried together in Griffin's cave.

As the Chinese say, mosquitoes have meat.

No matter how small the points given by the carcass of animals in the cave, Gaju will take it. He has a debt of 1000 points and even 1 point is very meaningful to him.

Gaju looked around, remaining alert to the Griffin's whereabouts.

Therefore, last night, Gaju spent his night doing a very unique trick.

Gaju made a hole inside the tree trunk and covered the entire mouth of the hole with his metal thread net. He was no longer sure of the overnight method with a hammock hanging from a tree. Wouldn't Griffin be able to attack from above and have a sharp view of an eagle?

Gaju took off his metal net slowly and the string rolled rapidly to his left wrist.

After that, Gaju jumped down from the tree where he spent the night.

Gaju threw his needle into the tree trunk and then used the thread connected to the needle to dampen the stepping rate.

After his foot stepped on the ground without a sound, Gaju stomped his left hand and made the needle stuck on the tree trunk come loose and drift towards him. Gaju swiftly caught the needle and hid it in his left hand.

Gaju glanced around to be sure once more.

He could hear the sound of birds chirping on the branches of trees around him. Gaju smiled and breathed a little sigh of relief. That sound indicates that Griffin's not around.

Gaju knows that the risk will always be proportional to the results he will get. The greater the risk, the greater the chance of getting greater results.

But, Gaju as much as possible avoids a second encounter with the Griffin, whose right eye is now injured by Gaju's needle.

Gaju darted quickly across clearing or open land without trees on the slopes of this mountain.

Without the Limiter, with the speed it has, Gaju only takes no more than a second to do it.

Wususshhhhh.

Srakkk.

Gaju broke through the trees and shrubs that covered the slopes of the Mountain that he suspected to be the Griffin's hiding place.

When Gaju passed through the bushes and small trees, he could now see a cave that was quite large. The diameter of the hole is 5 meters. It was more than enough for a creature the size of a Griffin to enter the cave.

Gaju can smell the rancid smell of blood and carcasses that smell strongly from inside the cave. Gaju is increasingly confident in his analysis.

Gaju darted into the cave while squinting, a simple trick to prepare his eyes with dark conditions in the room like the Cave he now refers to.

But, unlike Gaju's expectations, neither the Griffin's distinctive shout nor the figure clearly attached to his head welcomed his arrival.

Only a slight darkness blocked Gaju's view and silence was all he found. Of course accompanied by the smell of carrion that increasingly pierced his nose.

Gaju put a small smile on his mouth.

"Jackpot," muttered Gaju slowly as he glanced at one corner of the Cave.

Tree Tigers, Wind Wolves, Moon Wolves, Leaf Snakes, Black Mane Lions and many more animal carcasses were lying irregularly there.

Gaju darted quickly towards the pile of dead animals without caring about the stench that was getting stifling.

A shadow moved quickly in the corner of the cave among the pile of dead animals and was seen looking for something.

Time is money, no, time is points.

There was only one thing on Gaju's head at the moment. Deplete all the points in this cave and leave this place as soon as possible.

\=\=\=\=\=

"73 points, great start," murmured Gaju as he glanced towards the bright, green sneezing figure seen on the computer's mini screen that had his right wrist.

He smiled with satisfaction.

"Easy money" he murmured again.

Yep. Easy money, Gaju does not face a meaningful threat or extraordinary danger to get that point.

But Gaju also knows that he will not meet the same opportunity as this time.

After this, Gaju had to perform normal methods to slowly accumulate points.

Hunting wild animals one by one.

But, a small smile on Gaju's lips was immediately erased by a special sound from his mini computer.

Beep beep beep.

Gaju.

"Congratulations to the Candidate who has successfully done his first point collection."

"Candidate Three Seven is now ranked highest in points acquisition with a total of 73 points."

"From now on, Robbery and Charity systems will be activated."

"Robbery System, Candidates are given the freedom to forcibly seize the points collected by other Candidates without any penalty."

"Charity System, Candidates are given the freedom to give the points they have to other Candidates without any penalty."

"Reward 1000 points for Candidates who successfully eliminated Candidate Three Seven is still active until the deadline has not been determined."

"Good fight."

Gaju was silent in his place. Only one word flashed in his head at this moment.

"That's right!!"
