Chandanas

Chandanas
Edith (7)

Time never goes faster or slower. What makes people feel that time can sometimes pass faster or slower is themselves.

Suffering makes every second passed by humans become more pronounced, while happiness and pleasant moments tend to make humans complacent and forget about time.

And so did Edy. The entire time he spent with the vile people in the orphanage he had once lived in was really long and painful. Waiting for the day to change is like waiting for something that never comes. Time seemed to be going very slowly for Edy.

Different from what he feels now. The amount of work and problems that Edy had to solve made him forget many things. Time included. He was no longer busy looking at the clock or counting the dates. It all felt the same for Edy.

After sleeping for approximately 5 hours, Edy woke up when the clockwork attached to his wall pointed to the numbers seven and eleven.

Lazily, Edy grabbed his blanket. He knew he had to go to school. However, he will not leave. What good is it going to that stupid place? Edy didn't even feel like she was getting any knowledge during school. Most of the knowledge he gained came from his experience and the newspapers he read. After all, what was taught in school was not much needed by Edy. He does not need mathematical calculations or physical formulas to kill Kiran or avenge him. All he needs is money and the ability to speak.

With his ability to speak, he can persuade or even deceive anyone he wants. He can say whatever he wants and do whatever he can with it. On the other hand, money does everything. Everything Edy needs and needs can be fulfilled with money. So far, only these two things are the most useful for Edy.

After all, Edy couldn't come to school after all her past plans were shattered. Of course, all possibilities can happen. Therefore, this time Edy wanted to clear up the problem first before returning to his normal life.

Edy walked down the stairs a little lazily. He was hungry because he hadn't put anything in his stomach since last night. And again, Edy had to go to the back and feed Chandana so that the girl would not starve to death.

Edy pulled out a chair and sat quietly at the dining table. Everything has been prepared. He just sat down and chose whatever he wanted to consume.

Edy was at home alone. His adoptive father went abroad to treat a chronic illness that he had been suffering from. While Edy's adoptive mother also went and accompanied her adoptive father. Counted that two weeks had passed since the departure of the two useless parents.

Of course the departure of his parents made Edy more free. He remained financially well-supplied, plus, Edy was free to do anything at home because no one could organize or lecture him. Actually, there were three maids who lived and took care of the house. However, Edy had the three of them get out of the house and only come when there was something they had to do. Whether it's cooking, cleaning the house, or washing the vehicle. The rest, they can't be in that house.

At first Edy's servants refused. They argue that the location of their home is far from work so that the three must spend extra money if they have to commute from home to Edy's house. Therefore, Edy must be willing to spend additional costs to make the three maids according to.

If they were still in this house, of course Edy would not be able to feel calm. He kept Chandana, if there was one person who knew this, Edy would be in big trouble.

Edy finished her breakfast quickly then went back to the bathroom and cleaned up.

Several times he daydreamed because his mind was busy thinking of the right groove to get Kiran into his trap. Edy already has Chandana. He is convinced that Kiran will do anything to save Chandana even if it will do him harm. Just like Arif who did a lot of stupid things just because of his love for Dian. Kiran would do the same.

Since last night, Edy thought about how the right way to keep himself safe and not careless. Kiran could have contacted the authorities if Edy was caught off guard and not ready with all the possibilities. Therefore, Edy decided to immediately move Chandana.

Edy certainly could not use her parents' second home as a location to trap and execute Kiran as everyone would definitely easily target Edy's house as the first place they would probably investigate. With a lot of consideration, Edy put several locations into the list of places that he will make the headquarters as well as hiding places.

Among the three places he wanted to make the location of hiding and captivity Chandana, one of which was a cabin in the middle of the forest that Arif had shown him. The location is quite remote and far from residential residents because of its location that goes into a pine forest around the peak. Arif and Dian built the cabin to simply refresh and have a simple holiday every weekend. Although Edy never had time to go there, he knew the location because Arif almost every day discussed how beautiful and beautiful the place was. After all, there is Chandana who must know exactly where the place is.

In addition to Edy feeling confident that the cabin must be uninhabited, he also felt the forest was the right place to hold someone and commit crimes. In addition to the difficulty of the signal network and the remote access to the city, the place is also very fitting and suitable to clear your mind and spend time alone with Chandana. Edy can spend time during the day strategizing and spending the night alone with Chandana. At least that's what Edy imagined.

After cleaning himself up, Edy takes some food and goes to the place where he confines and binds Chandana alone.

"Morning. You wake up, right?" Edy grinned when he found Chandana had woken up. The girl looked pale and very messy.

Edy placed the tray with the food she brought to Chandana, then moved her body towards Chandana to reach for an iron chain that was loosened behind the girl. Chandana stared blankly at Edy. He looked really weak and didn't care anymore about anything Edy was trying to do to him.

"In a moment," Edy untied Chandana's two hands and placed an iron chain on Chandana's wrist.

Chandana glanced at the side of her hand that was now chained. With a blank and pushy look, he said, "You want what?"

Edy glanced at Chandana, "Do you want me? I want it to be you. And to get you, I must kill all the barriers that will stand in our way. Understood?" edy's lips cracked as his eyes glared at Chandana. Even in a fragile and messy state, the girl still looks beautiful.

Edy pulls out a tray of food he brought Chandana, "Eat this."

Edy almost laughed, "Kill you? Is that crazy, right? I did all this for you too! Know you? Huh uh?"

Chandana bit her lower lip, "If this is all you're doing for me, will you let Kiran go if I give up on you? If I'm willing to live with you?" chandana said with a trembling voice. Imagining life alone with the man in front of him alone is terrible enough for him, he will never be able to live it in real life. Chandana will not be able to live life by being on the side of the person she hates the most and she fears.

Hearing Chandana's question made Edy clench his jaw. The girl seemed to care about Kiran. Edy realizes that Chandana is very hateful and afraid of him, hearing the girl intends to surrender to save Kiran makes Edy's irritation increase.

"No. I'll keep killing Kiran! Kill his family! Kill everyone who has ruined my life!" Edy almost screamed when she said that.

Chandana looked at Edy with a confused and incredulous look. How dare he say that when the only person who ruined his life and the lives of others was Edy himself.

"Kira? Destroying your life? Please realize! You've always been the one who ruined other people's lives! You are destroying your own life with all sorts of pointless grudges and resentments! I know you're smart, you're smart, you understand that everything you do is detrimental to yourself!" Chandana shed her tears. He wants to get out of here. He couldn't be around Edy any longer.

"Aahhh! Don't noise! Don't try you my orders! I am the smartest! I am the wisest! Everything I do is the right thing! You, you are wrong! You're wrong for letting that bangs*t guy get close to you!" Edy pulled Chandana's hand violently, "This hand, this is mine! This skin, these lips, your eyes and body, are all mine! That Kiran Baj*ngan has dared to touch you! Touching mine! Her stupid father also made your mother die in a fire! He took away the hope and happiness I had always dreamed of! They all deserve to die!" Edy shouted violently while slamming Chandana's hand to hit the wall.

"Never try to advise me or say what is right and wrong! Why do you dare to argue with me like this? Didn't you always listen to me? That Kiran must have poisoned your mind! Just so you know, I was right, Chandana. I am always right! You gotit?" Edy pulled a tray of food beside him and slammed the tray right in front of Chandana, "Eat this! Don't ever try to argue with me again!" Edy pointed Chandana at him with her index finger. His jaw was hardened and his eyes were reddened with anger. He was disappointed that Chandana had now dared to refute his words, unlike before.

Edy's emotions were still blazing as her phone rang, a call coming in from an anonymous number. Edy stared at the screen of his phone, glanced at Chandana who sobbed quickly then walked out to receive the call.

"What?"

"sorry. But I got word that Kiran was out of the hospital today. He was brought home later this afternoon. He said his condition was recovering. Poison yesterday had absolutely no effect on him because it only entered a little and has been treated with a doctor."

"What's? Not even a month that the child was admitted to the hospital, is now recovering? All this time, what the hell? How's the story about him getting out of the hospital?" Edy screams in frustration at the news that Kiran is now almost healed. It felt like all the effort he made to hurt Kiran was like nothing.

"It's not that at all. There's one more bad news."

Edy growled in annoyance. Is it worse than the fact that Kiran has been discharged from the hospital?

"What's? What bad news?"

"The kid you paid off his debt, who you told me yesterday to poison Kiran, he told the police that what told him was elo. The police and the party there already know that you are behind all this. I heard, the police have also hired the stadium officer who we paid for yesterday."

Edy's aghast. He almost choked on his own saliva hearing what one of his men had just said.

"Where.... HOW COULD HE KNOW IT WAS ME? HOW COULD HE KNOW THAT THE ONE WHO TOLD HIM WAS ME! And.. And, why is it that officers can be detained? Huh huh? Why is he under arrest, beg*?" Edy screamed in frustration. He did not expect everything to be revealed so soon when he had not even prepared anything.

"The day before the first game, I was the same as the others had rusakin all the cctv in the stadium so that all our movements no one knows. B-but.."

"But what? But what?" Edy barked, he was really annoyed and was not out of thought with the work done by his people. They are stupid and incompetent.

"But Pradipta's men seem to have been with us for a long time. As we rusakin all the cctv in the stadium, there are others who are wading surveillance cameras in all corners of the stadium. They know that there are negotiations between us the same people who took off the bolts that made the lamp fall nimpa Kiran. This morning, at the base there was a surveillance camera too. I don't know who put it up and since when it's been installed. If it had been a long time... It's possible that Pradipta already knows who's been sending terror to their homes because we always pack the packages at the base."

Edy gritted her teeth, "Damn! Siaaaaayallll!"

That brash pradipta, he's waiting for evidence to get me caught. He was silent all this time not because he knew nothing, he knew and waited for the right moment. Damnit... Siall!!!!!

While Edy was busy shouting and pouring out all his frustrations by slamming things he encountered on the rooftop, Chandana watched Edy from inside the small room where he was chained. Since then, Chandana has been listening to all of Edy's conversations with the people who called her.

It was such a relief to hear that Edy was already on the verge of collapse. After Kiran and her father had done their duty so well, it was Chandana's turn. Now it's his turn to do something to stop all this. Stopping all this endless suffering.
