"I was waiting for Naya," Chandana turned her head briefly to look at this figure that had shocked her just a moment ago.
Not so long ago Roka came and stood between the two. Make Chandana rush to walk sideways to keep her distance from Roka. Aware of Chandana's actions, Roka mendeham softly then said, "Semester yesterday you came to the field too?"
Chandana shook her head, "No. I also have no intention of going. Just drop Naya off,"
Kiran turned her head back, glancing at Chandana through the back of Roka's back. It turns out Chandana is the same as him, has never participated in this event. During the last two semesters Kiran did not even participate in this event often called Stress Relief. Often Kiran just sat on the sidelines while looking at the excitement of his school students, sometimes he also went straight home without caring about the bacotan Roka so that Kiran would stay to wait for him.
"Well, it's a pity you didn't follow. But anyway, you both look very similar. Si Kiran also never wanted me to join," Roka regretted Chandana's decision, then likened his nature to Kiran who always refused to participate in the event.
"Yes, I also meant he made a follow-up but did not want to," Naya's voice suddenly sounded from behind making the three compactly turn their heads together.
"Crazy with ngagetin. Yaudah, you two are not here papa right? I'm the same Naya wants to go there," Roka pointed towards the field, tens or even hundreds of students have started to huddle there.
"Ati-ati lo." Kiran warned.
In this activity, not infrequently some students lose self-control and become a little extreme and excessive. Although there was never a victim with serious injuries, Kiran only intended to make sure Roka would not be one of the students whose head was leaked or his face was scuffed by being too excited.
Roka rolled her eyeballs, as if saying 'Urusin aja yourself'. Beside him, Naya was also waving her hand towards Chandana. He was worried about having to leave Chandana alone, but he no longer needed to because Kiran was there.
"Want to find a seat?" Kiran turned to look at Chandana. According to Kiran, now is a good time to find a strategic seat before other students start to arrive and fill up the existing seating because of course, the, not only those who are reluctant to follow Stress Relief and prefer the role of the audience.
"Yes," Chandana nodded.
Kiran walked ahead of Chandana, paving the way for the girl to pass easily without having to collide shoulders or hands with other students who were also passing by.
After wandering around to find a strategic empty spot, Kiran stopped at a wooden bench located just below the banyan tree. The location is not too crowded because of the considerable distance from the field, but from here they can see everything on the field clearly and without interference. Kiran lets Chandana sit down first, and as usual, Kiran sits on the farthest side of the girl.
"Chandana," Kiran tried to start the conversation, she could not calm down before truly apologizing for her words yesterday.
"Hmm?" Chandana looks busy with her bag, I don't know what she wants to get out of there.
"I want to apologize for what I said in the gondola. I shouldn't doubt or question your reasons like that" Kiran said, feeling guilty.
Chandana turned to look at the interlocutor's face, a small smile spread across her lips, "It seems like we've only met a few times, but we haven't counted how many times we've apologized to each other."
"I'm not angry. There's nothing to worry about." Chandana.
Kiran held a smile while sighing in relief, she was grateful that Chandana did not seem angry at her at all. Chandana's words have a point, they have only met and spoken a few times, but apologies for each other are almost always in their every conversation.
Kiran only felt bad, this was her first time being close to a woman after so many years. And he can be sure that this is also the first time Chandana has ever been friends with a man. At least he must remain cautious, people say the feelings of permuan are very sensitive and easily hurt. Not a few women are reluctant to express their disappointment and keep it all for themselves. Therefore Kiran must be vigilant because she never faces women directly, let alone understand their feelings.
"Udah began," Chandana slid her chin towards the crowd that started to form a large circle.
Not so long ago, EDM music sounded loud through the loudspeakers. Those who were now in the field began to dance and move around while gushing laughter at each other. Everyone looks happy and happy in their own way.
Some are busy enjoying music by dancing, some are singing together, some are just laughing while hugging their friends.
"It turns out that this event is not as bad as I thought," Chandana smiled knotfully, her eyes staring straight at the field.
Kiran looked over, smiling with Chandana. "I also. They look really cool, don't they? That's what else, trance what's a man?"
Chandana laughed after seeing the figure Kiran pointed at with her right index finger. Kiran looked at Chandana then laughed with her.
Very beautiful, he thought in his heart. This was the first time Kiran had seen Chandana laugh. His voice was very soft and graceful, making Kiran unable to hold back a smile every time she landed her eyes on the girl who was still laughing little at the actions of the children on the field. She looks very beautiful with both eyes that form a curved line when laughing. Kiran did not see many people who had eyesmile as beautiful as that.
"Geez, what's the kid doing?" Chandana was increasingly unable to hold her laughter when she saw a student wearing a kribo wig running down the ridge wearing only upin-ipin shorts on his knees into the middle of the field.
"What's so bad is that these people are so nervous" Kiran held onto her stomach that it started to hurt from laughing too much.
Kiran is surprised by herself who is now starting to dare to use nonformal language when talking to Chandana. Although the girl still used formal language to him, and even to everyone, inexplicably Kiran felt a little closer to Chandana than before.
Kiran glanced at Chandana who was still smiling with her crescent moon eyes, the girl seemed to also feel a stomachache from laughing a lot. With a doubt, Kiran took her bag and searched for a bottle that she had not had time to drink at all, then gave it to Chandana.
"Drink first. I haven't had a drink at all."
"Thank you." Chandana picked up the bottle that Kiran had stretched out.
"Today I saw you laughing." Kiran looked at Chandana with a smile, while Chandana threw away her face in embarrassment.
"Any huh?"
Kiran opened her mouth in shock, hesitating to give Chandana a compliment, Kiran decided to tell her the truth. "Why weird? You're so beautiful, Chandana."
Chandana is jumped, Kiran's sentence makes her remember things that she doesn't want to remember at all. Chandana's breath began to hunt, her hands trembling as she returned the bottle to Kiran's hands.
Chandana shook her head slowly, trying to regain her calm and normal expression. "No, I am indeed this ordinary." a faint smile was engraved on his lips, trying to give Kiran a calm look of worry.
"But your hands are trembling. You haven't had breakfast yet?" Kiran still could not let go of her worries.
"Have breakfast, Kiran. I'm fine, don't overdo it," Chandana tried a little harder to get rid of the miscellaneous suspicion from the man in front of her.
Kiran sighed then looked back at the field. He had wanted to apologize for his stupidity just now, but he thought it would not help much. Therefore Kiran decided to melt the atmosphere by talking more casually although honestly he could never relax if he was near Chandana. Especially his heartbeat. Just this time he felt engrossed and reminiscent just by sitting under a shady tree with a gentle breeze.
"Don't you tremor." Kiran said after selecting dozens of jokes that he would throw.
Oh, it's so crisp.
Chandana looked at Kiran with a big smile, "Hmm? You think I'm elderly or what?"
"Tremors aren't always elderly, Chandana. Shaking in one part of the body is generally caused by excessive fear, tremors, panic attacks, or lack of energy intake. Which one are you?" Kiran smiled faintly.
"Yes, it's probably true that this tremor." Chandana threw away her face, shook her head slowly while hiding a smile.
The trembling in his hands began to subside as his panic began to dissipate. Kiran made him feel relaxed again with a joke that he did not even understand where the funny place was.
For a few moments silence enveloped the two, inversely proportional to the atmosphere on the field that was increasingly violent. Now a student ran with a hose that he had found out of nowhere, then sprayed water into the air, making the crowd split into several large blocks. Blocks that are already satisfied and want to put an end to their crazy actions, blocks that step aside to keep themselves dry, blocks that are increasingly becoming-so in the middle of the field, the block that is getting dry, and the laughing block looked at all the madness.
"Chandana, may I ask?" Kiran opened her voice after a long time of thinking.
"Ask what?" Chandana looked over, her face looking enthusiastic.
I don't know why Kiran was so happy to see Chandana like this. This girl before him really looked alive, not only moody and flat all day like before. Although Chandana still remains calm, calm, sad, and only puts on expression on several occasions is still more silent, at least the girl now smiles more often.
"Why did you block my line?"
Chandana. He seemed confused by Kiran's question. "What if I block your line?"
Kiran was even more confused to see Chandana's response. Hurriedly he took his phone out of his pocket, opened the app and searched his chat room with Chandana.
"Here. Don't worry about you, yes" Kiran showed her the screen of her phone, Chandana squinted her eyes to see it clearly.
For a while they remained in that position until Chandana gave a small laugh while shaking slowly. "You're the freak whose profile line pictures that tuyul?"
"Huh? Tuyul?" Kiran checks her phone, she presses her account profile and discovers the truth of Chandana's words.
"Hehe, yes." Kiran smiled shyly while scratching her non-itchy ears.
Kiran pursed her lips when she realized how hot her ears were now. He was sure that his face and ears would now have been flushed with embarrassment.
"Yes, I unblock it. Sorry yeah, I guess prankster." Chandana opens her phone, still not thinking about how Kiran can put up a profile photo like that.
"I have often been contacted by unclear children. So I used tuyul photos so that people would doubt the authenticity of my account. Although not too bad, but it can also reduce one or two people rather than not at all." Kiran smiled faintly as she saw the Chandana line homepage she could open again.
"Women?" Chandana put her phone back in the bag.
"I-yes." Kiran replied doubtfully.
"I'm not too surprised. I rarely go out of class, but every time I go out, there's always someone talking about you or Roka." Chandana turned to Kiran who looked less like their topic of conversation.
"Talking about my ugliness and Roka more precisely?" Kiran smiled bitterly. He hates himself because of others, in the end he must end up hating others because of himself.
Kiran tried desperately to be shunned by making her judged as bad, arrogant, arrogant. But everything did not go smoothly because of his physical attention. At first he did not have the heart to be evil to those who tried to approach him, but in the end he was drowned in fear that the same incident would happen again if he continued to be surrounded by people. In the end, inevitably he must always reject everyone. Be arrogant and arrogant, acting indifferent even though he actually cares and does not have the heart. He pushed everyone away even Roka and his own family.
Chandana. He often heard people say that behind his beautiful physique, Kiran is a proud and arrogant figure. Even so according to everyone, in fact many women are still interested even crazy about Kiran. In fact, all people's perceptions of Kiran are just conjecture, no one really knows her well other than Roka who has always been with her since childhood. If everyone knew Kiran that Chandana knows today, I don't know how many more would be infatuated with the man before her.
"Of the many boys I have met, you are the one who values others the most. Appreciate me. You are not arrogant and do not like to impose your will. You are careful and understanding. After everything I heard about you and I experienced with you, I wondered, which one are you? My version, or their version?" Chandana looked at Kiran right in both eyes. He made the man speak a thousand languages.
*Of course, Chandana. I want them to stay away, but to you I want to be as close as possible.
I don't understand who I really am. All the traits I made up are getting used to me so sometimes I feel like they are my nature, while my nature is buried in this self and slowly becomes pseudo. I began to believe that I was as arrogant and proud as they said so that there would be no more sadness and heartache whenever I heard their criticism of me. Then you came and miraculously pulled me to you. You made me be myself, you made me care about myself. I became me again after years of being transformed into a person I didn't even want to be safe. I'm a coward and not as tough as Chandana looks. I'm a coward who can't handle what's not going to happen*.
Kiran pursed her lips while looking at her shiny shoes. Wanting to express everything in his mind, but of course he did not have that much courage.
"You can judge for yourself, Chandana. You can judge me sincerely for not doing my deed." Kiran smiled faintly, her two white hands clasping each other in nervousness.
"You like to talk about serious things, don't you?" Kiran smiled wryly, showing her white gnashing of teeth as well as her sweet smile.
Chandana also smiled. A happy smile filled with gratitude.
