Chandanas

Chandanas
Section 14

After thinking as fast as he could, Kiran decided to sit at the end of the bench on the right because Chandana had occupied the end of the bench on the left. Somehow Kiran feels that Chandana may be less comfortable around boys, as does what Kiran feels up to now - even if it's not as bad as it used to be.

Kiran dared to conclude so because the way Chandana reacted and expressed whenever there were boys nearby always seemed tense and uncomfortable. At least Kiran should know enough to not suddenly sit next to Chandana and re-carve another stupid note of action. Therefore Kiran decided to sit on the far side of Chandana.

"Why didn't you go to school?" Kiran was the first to break the silence between them that night. The longer heartbeats quickly made Kiran's voice sound a little vibrating.

"Egypt." Chandana lowered her head while playing the corn that Kiran had previously given her.

Kiran breathed a sigh of relief. At least he no longer needs to feel worried and prejudiced that is not, "Good, friends worry about you."

Chandana just gave a slow nod in response. There were no more words heard from the two. Silence and silence are re-created. For a few minutes none of them tried to start the conversation. Kiran who honestly really wanted to ask the reason for Chandana's absence at the meeting that should have happened yesterday was constantly overwhelmed with doubt. Kiran is afraid to hear what Chandana will say later, she is afraid Chandana's answer does not match what she hopes and thinks.

After a dozen minutes of being trapped in a stifling silence, Chandana decides to open her voice, "Is that all you want to say?"

Kiran's surprised. His heart was beating very fast, especially when his eyes looked at the face of the girl. Highlight Chandana's eyes look cold, softness and sad gaze that has been shown no longer visible. In Kiran's heart wondering what's wrong with Chandana, why does she seem not to expect Kiran's presence?

Dozens of sentences swirled around in Kiran's head while she was at a loss as to which one she should say. After thinking long enough, he said, "Yes. That's it."

Chandana got up from the garden chair right after Kiran finished her sentence, "Then I want to go back home" Chandana said without looking at Kiran. His tone sounded cold even though his voice remained as gentle as usual.

Chandana turns her body around to start leaving Kiran, but just before Chandana steps her foot, Kiran prevents the girl from leaving because she realizes something is wrong, "Wait for Chandana. But that's your knee why?" Kiran tried to walk closer to see more clearly.

And sure enough, a medium-sized bandage covered almost half of Chandana's knee with a few small scratches around her exposed leg. Seeing Kiran watching him, Chandana tried to cover her knees by turning away from Kiran. He cursed his stupidity for going out of the house without wearing trousers first.

"It's none of your business," Chandana looked up, looking at Kiran right in both eyes that looked sparkling because of the lights of the park.

Kiran was silent at Chandana's words. There's nothing wrong with what Chandana said. And it was true that it was none of Kiran's business, but somehow her heart hurt. He felt overwhelmed by the fact that he was nobody. He has no right to even worry about Chandana daring to meet him at night just to talk about things that are not really important and urgent.

Bener. I'm who? What right do I have? Kiran, you are a fool.

"sorry. I was too involved, right?" Kiran smiled bitterly as she held back all the feelings of remorselessness she felt, "Good night Chandana" she said as she walked away from Chandana who was still drugged by the helpless look and sad expression that Kiran was treating her with.

That night, both Kiran and Chandana felt a feeling they had never experienced in their entire lives. A feeling that was so gripping that it stifled the chest, a feeling that they did not even know what but were able to keep both of them awake all night.

---

Roka turned the pages of her book lazily. Every now and then he glanced at the blackboard, noting briefly the complex figure that was explaining formulas and numbers that Roka did not understand at all. With hesitation, Roka groped her desk locker, looking at her phone screen which showed an image of the partially charged battery. He sighed softly and then returned his phone into the locker.

"Tumben-tumbenan nih molor child like this. Feelings these few weeks have rarely read the middle of this malem child. Kenape ye's?" muttered Roka while staring at the back of Kiran's head who was now sleeping soundly while hugging her backpack.

Not so long ago, Kiran moved unsettled in her sleep. Roka who realized this was also worried and tried to wake Kiran by patting her back so as not to cause an uproar because in front of the class there was still a teacher who was explaining the material. Initially Kiran did not wake up immediately, she still kept moving regardless of the slow sentences Roka whispered to wake her up. This continued for quite some time until Roka decided to hit Kiran's back a little harder.

"Ouch..." Kiran whimpering. His head felt heavy and throbbing, "What the hell lo?" kiran continued while wrinkling his forehead, holding back the dizziness that was felt in his head.

"Yes maap. Lagian lo kanya was ngigo." Roka pulled a shoulder. "Well, loh? Idung lo out blood!" Roka screamed loudly after seeing a few drops of blood coming out of her best friend's nose. The whole class including the teacher who was explaining was surprised and flocked to Kiran.

Feeling surprised, Kiran then ascertained the truth of Roka's words. And sure enough, fresh blood dripped slowly from both nostrils, "Sir, I'm clearance to the bathroom!" kiran said after she walked quickly to the fat man who looked at her worriedly.

After seeing his teacher nod, Kiran ran towards the bathroom while raising her head to minimize the frequency of blood coming out. The sound of Kiran's shoes thumped so hard that it attracted the attention of many students both who were doing lessons and who were outside the classroom. Everyone stared confused and worried, especially the girls who had long admired Kiran's good looks.

Upon arriving in the bathroom, Kiran rushed to wash her nose and the blood around her face. Kiran let out a stifled sigh as she looked at the image of her reflected in the glass. His face was pale and not strong. All this must have happened because he was too exhausted. Especially yesterday he just rained and woke up all night because of an unsettled mind. Kiran cursed her stupidity. He shouldn't be as reckless and selfish as yesterday. What would happen if he could not fulfill Edy's promise to play in the tournament with the futsal team.

That morning, Kiran who was accompanied by Roka decided to go to the health room. After asking for medicine and some multivitamins, Kiran rushed to sleep so that her body was back in shape. While Kiran is asleep, bored Roka tries to occupy herself by playing all kinds of games on her phone. Starting from war games, tetris, to worms he has played many times, but it seems that it is not powerful enough to expel his boredom.

Roka glanced at Kiran at a glance then turned her body facing the window. This kind of silent situation feels very bad for Roka who can never be silent anywhere and anytime. For some time, Roka was just silent while staring blankly at the window that showed a large tree that was used as a hangout by their school children. Until finally Roka's daydream stopped because accidentally his two eyes caught a shadow of someone very familiar.

"Mrs?" Roka opened the health room door in a hurry to make a loud rumbling sound.

"Hey, this is not a market" said the UKS guard who seemed upset because of Roka's action just now.

On the other hand, Naya who felt her name was called stopped her steps and then looked back. And sure enough, Roka was staring at him with a smile that inexplicably made Naya blush and deepen in heart.

The Dih? Sok great joy that lutung smile all.

"Lo's gapain here? Stupid huh?" Naya grieved as she walked closer to Roka who immediately put on a bitter expression after hearing her words just now.

"Heh, vegetable kang. Kaga what's the positive thing about me in your eyes. Kiran is sick. I'm waiting for him here." Roka threw away her face. Put on an upset face that seemed contrived to attract the attention of Naya.

"Huh? What pain? Move lo!" Naya pulls Roka's body away from the door of the infirmary, while Roka slams out in shock.

"Buckoo! What a human demon lo anyink! Girls but the power of the rhino is how it is." Roka grumbled as she followed Naya who had first entered the health room.

Inside, Naya stood next to Kiran's bed. Observing the man's face with a worried look as well as pity. While Roka who saw something unusual from Naya's gaze for Kiran somehow felt an uneasy and uneasy feeling in her heart.

"He why?" Naya lowered her voice. His eyes were still fixed on the figure that was now lying weakly with a face that looked very pale and helpless.

Roka sighed softly, "She said I was sapped. The nosebleed was also a child. I know I'm a kid again."

"Great pity. This is the first time I've seen Kiran helplessly rich gini." Naya glanced at Roka who immediately turned her face because she did not want Naya to know that since then Roka was cool looking at the girl's face.

"Gue too. Rarely is a child sick like this." Roka pulled the chair a few meters from Kiran's bed, and invited Naya to sit down.

Naya accepts Roka's offer while smiling faintly, "By the way, Chandana has entered school today" Naya said in a soft voice. His face was doubtful and a little agitated.

Roka realized the strange gait that Naya showed, "Baguss dong should, so why are you confused?" Roka tried to make sure everything was fine by questioning Naya's restless expression just now.

"Chandana is weird. He cuekin me, really rich he fitting early first. Pendiem and don't want to talk to anyone. Though a few days ago he was willing to open and tense with me." Naya explained all the things that were now bothering her mind.

This morning, Naya hugged Chandana just after she saw her presence in class. The worry that Naya had felt because Chandana did not go to school and a day without news had made her think that it was not. But seeing the figure of Chandana sitting on his stool in a state of full and fine makes Naya's heart feel a little relieved.

Even so, apparently the feeling of relief that Naya felt was not able to last long. This happened because Chandana's reaction after Naya hugged her was very unexpected. Instead of answering Naya's question and talking as usual, Chandana instead let go of Naya's hug by force then looked at the girl with a flat gaze then said, "Don't bother me."

To be honest, Naya did not just shut up after hearing Chandana's words. Many times Naya tried to get Chandana to talk and even make jokes, but the girl did not bully Naya at all. Chandana is really back to her old self. A quiet girl who is indifferent to anything and anyone.

Remembering the whole incident this morning made Naya sad. Roka who heard Naya's story about the change in Chandana's attitude also felt sad and confused. In addition to his concern for Chandana, Roka is also worried about the continuation of Kiran and Chandana's relationship. If it is true that Chandana is now back to being a cold girl as Naya said, Roka is worried that Kiran will have trouble approaching Chandana.

Bro, just now you can start forgiving yourself. Just now you start to be able to rise from your pain during this time, just want to fight and fight your weakness. I just felt like I was coming back to life after a long time of fading. No, I won't let you lose your spirit again. I won't let you drown again.

Roka looked at Kiran with mixed feelings. He was afraid to go back to seeing his best friend overcome with sadness and live without passion like in recent years. Therefore, Roka was determined to help Kiran no matter what. This time he did not want to let Kiran drown again. Even if it had to, then he didn't want to see Kiran drown herself.

"What dream?" Naya pats Roka on the shoulder to make him wake up from the daydream.

"It's nothing." Roka shook her head slowly while smiling faintly.

"Eh but how are you looking forward to today a little?" Roka glanced and looked at Naya with her two sparkling eyes.

Naya threw away her face, her face flushed red from being embarrassed. "The most obvious mouth you put on a bandage so not a lot of bacot ya."

"It's so shocking to you." Roka smiled slightly while showing gesture as if she was hitting Naya's arm slowly.

"Diiihhh." Naya shuddered as she pulled her chair away from Roka.

"Btw, I'll help you figure out what's wrong with Chandana" Roka said, changing her expression to make it look a little more serious.

Naya nodded softly, "Rich song title."
