Edy walked down the stairs in a hurry. His hands were busy putting a hat on his head as well as a jacket on his body. Now he wants to go to meet some acquaintances to launch the next action because Edy can not just sit still and wait for himself to be discovered. He has to do something that can be the climax of everything. Something that will manifest all the desires and desires that he has dreamed of.
After wearing the driving attribute, Edy rode his motorbike then drove the vehicle at high speed. He drove fast, splitting the quiet, silent night streets. Before he actually went to the meeting place he had promised with some of his colleagues, Edy decided to go somewhere first. I don't know why he suddenly felt like visiting the place.
Vehicles that had previously passed through paved highways now had to reverse their direction to get to where Edy wanted to go.
After driving for approximately 15 minutes on a smooth and pleasant road to pass, Edy began to enter the area of the road in the form of rocky soil. The track is quite narrow, approximately only fit traversed by one car. On the left and on the right, the road looks empty. There are only wild grasses that are never cut so that the height almost touches the figure of one meter.
After going through the path for approximately 5 minutes, Edy entered a large gate that read "Adijaya Family Cemetery."
In that place, everything seemed clean and beautiful. There is no weed that grows excessively so that all directions look pleasing to the eye. Unlike the dark road that must be passed to get to this place, here there are quite a lot of lanterns that become lights.
Edy parked his motorcycle in a place designed similar to a small garage. The place is indeed useful as a parking lot for the vehicles of people who visit. However, since this cemetery is a family cemetery, not many people visit here. Only close relatives and colleagues are indeed on good terms with the deceased concerned.
Edy walked slowly down the green grass that spread throughout the cemetery. He took a lantern from the gallows to light his way. Although there are already many lanterns here and there, the light produced is not too bright so that Edy and anyone who comes at night will have difficulty looking around, let alone finding a tomb to visit.
After walking for a dozen meters, Edy began to see a line of tombstones made of black marble with the name of the deceased/almarhumah engraved on it. The name, date of birth, and date of death were carved using gold ink, giving the impression of elegance and value to each family member buried in this place.
Edy lowered his head, pointing his lantern towards the tombstone so that he could read the name listed there. He did the same thing over and over again until Edy finally arrived at one of the tombs he had been looking for.
Edy smiled a little. He put down the lantern he was carrying and then sat cross-legged next to the tomb. Edy noticed the name written on the tombstone.
In a poignant tone, Edy mentioned the name listed on the tombstone, "Diandhana Adijaya."
Edy smiled. If only this terrible event of a few years had never happened, he would now bear the same name. He will become an Adijaya and does not have to do all the things he has done so far. But what can I do. Humans can only plan. The happiness that Edy had always hoped for only lasted a short while. It only lasts a while.
Edy does not remember for sure the length of time he lived with Diandhana and his small family. For sure Edy felt sure that he lived with Diandhana in the big house was not until one month because the rest of his time he spent only three with Arif and his daughter.
That afternoon, Edy was playing along with his foster brother. For some reason, Edy loved to look at the young girl's face. She looks so beautiful and shiny. Very bright and excited. Really comfortable and beautiful to look at.
They play together as if there is nothing else they can do but have fun. Time went fast for Edy because without him knowing, it was night. His foster father took them both to their beds because it was night.
Edy obeyed the man's words because he himself felt tired from playing all day. Without making small talk and wasting more time, Edy closed his eyes and slept soundly.
Just hours after Edy fell asleep, there were screams and sobs from outside the room. Edy woke up feeling astonished and surprised. Curious, Edy opened the door to her room. He walked down the hallways of the house and stood behind the wall when he saw his foster father roaring in the living room. There were several men wearing police uniforms complete with flickering police cars. Edy can see the car parked outside the house from the window that was slightly opened later.
Reluctant to explore more about the police, Edy rubbed his eyes and noticed his adoptive father growing increasingly hysterical. Her tears flowed like a river. His screams shrieked until he woke up several neighbors who one by one began to come to their homes.
At first Edy did not understand what was really going on. He was still confused and wondering until he heard a conversation that then made him understand the situation and conditions that made his adoptive father cry and hysterical to the extent.
"Sorry, Sir. You have to calm down. You have to be tough. I have a daughter who needs to be raised. Father can't be like this. What is the point of following your wife? He is calm there now. You can come to the hospital to see the body" said one of the police officers who appeared to be trying hard to calm Edy's adoptive father.
"No! Nope! My wife is not dead! He's not dead! If he dies, I die too! Nope! I want to die too! Release!"
"Sir! The father! Arif Sir! You must be aware, sir!"
"Your wife has died in a fire that took place in the hospital tonight. He actually managed to evacuate us. However, the father's wife went back into the hospital because she wanted to save a newborn baby. We beg you to realize," said one of the police when they realized the surrounding residents began to swarm the house even though the clock was almost showing midnight.
Edy who was hiding behind the wall was surprised not playing. His chest was as if it was being pushed down by a giant piece of wood. It was crowded and painful to hear what the police had just said. It was strange for Edy. It was as if his beautiful dream was crushed and crushed by an invisible big hand.
Edy crying. She cried for the first time in a long time.
With that belief, Edy tried hard to survive and live everything with resignation until he was met with a doctor who later adopted him. Now that Edy thought that his happy moments had arrived, he had to be hit even harder by a reality that had never been as beautiful as his dreams and shadows.
That night, Edy tells himself that the world is cruel. The world is a lie. There is no good destiny for a person unless they find their own good. Since then Edy has told himself that he will never let his guard down and fall asleep. If God does not intend to give him happiness, then Edy will find himself the happiness he seeks.
Doctor Dian's departure made the previously very happy little family change almost 180 degrees. Arif - Edy's adoptive father - can only daydream and daydream every day, he seems to have no spirit at all to continue life. This makes everything bland and quiet. In fact, Edy's adoptive brother began to often moody and silent.
Edy who witnessed all this suffering is looking for what and how the right solution for all this is. He is looking for something that can restore the spirit and passion of his adoptive father.
Edy began reading and learning everything he could get related to the fire case. Edy tried to find all sorts of clues. Or perhaps more accurately, Edy was trying to find someone worthy of blame for the incident.
Of the many involved, the evacuation officer and the hospital owner are the two who seem to have the most potential to bear all the burden of blame for the death of Edy's adoptive mother. However, after Edy considered, he could not blame an agency for the tragedy. As a result, Pradipta as the owner of the hospital had to bear everything.
Edy started to find out everything about Pradipta. He found that Pradipta was an extraordinarily rich and famous businessman at a young age. He has two healthy and handsome sons and one beautiful wife and is famous for her good and generous image.
Perfect family, Inner Edy.
His hatred for the Pradipta family began to become so because of the envy he felt. Edy thought that he and his adoptive family would be so happy if only Dian had not died in the fire that occurred in the hospital run by Pradipta. Though aware that Pradipta was completely innocent of the fire, Edy closed his eyes and ears. He was looking for someone to blame for the extinction and destruction of the beautiful dreams he had wanted so far. And now having found the right man, Edy bites the prey firmly, reluctant to let go or loosen even a little of his grip on Pradipta and his family.
Edy began to think, how could he avenge his adoptive mother? Edy was just a little boy who would never even get close to that superior family.
It came to Edy's mind to approach the Pradipta children. However, apparently Pradipta is very closed and maintains very privacy of his family. Although Pradipta's name is almost always in every business magazine issue for every new achievement and achievement he receives, there is no information about the family let alone the names of his wife and children. Few reviews describe how good and perfect the family is.
Time keeps going. Days change weeks, weeks change months, and months change years. Edy continued to gather information and devise plans that he might be able to realize later on.
On the other hand, Edy's adoptive father began to experience emotional and psychiatric disorders. He had OCD which made him angry and scared when he saw someone else fall asleep. He hurt himself every time he woke up.
Worse was Edy's foster brother. The sweet and pretty girl began to be the target of the rampage from her own father. He was often beaten and tortured. Edy who had not cared about the surroundings and only focused on revenge was slowly getting sidetracked.
Every night, he comes to his foster brother's room to wake the girl up as their father peeks into the room to check if they are sleeping or not. This makes Edy and his foster brother used to sleep in the same room to work hand in hand and wake up.
Initially, Edy only considered the beautiful girl as a brother that he needed to protect. However, as time went on, he began to feel an obsession with the girl.
They were 12 years old when Arif began to beat up Edy's foster brother. From then on, they started sharing rooms in order to take care of each other. At least that's what Edy's foster sister thinks.
At first, Edy often observed his brother who was in deep sleep. He saw how beautiful and beautiful the girl was. A strange desire that came out of nowhere began to possess Edy. He began to have more obsession with his foster brother.
From then on, Edy no longer considered the Girl as a brother, but rather someone she wanted to have for herself. On the one hand, Edy began to instill incitement and invocation to his father that Pradiptalah was guilty of Dian's death. Almost every day Edy uttered words that triggered resentment and anger in Arif's heart. Lucky for Edy because the emotions of his adoptive father is indeed unstable. The man is very easy he incited and he influenced so that Arif who began to be affected also returned to improve his life with a new purpose of life, revenge.
If before Arif lost his direction and even almost lost his mind because of the departure of the Wife, now after Edy instilled a grudge in his heart, Arif began to rearrange life because he finally had a purpose. He had something to do in life that he thought had been destroyed after the death of his wife. The goal is to avenge Diandhana. He avenged his wife's death to those responsible for the incident.
As Arif gets busy organizing himself with all the zeal for revenge, Edy gets a lot of opportunities to get closer to his sister.
Edy began to make frequent physical contact with her foster siblings. Edy even harassed the girl while she was busy sleeping so that Edy's behavior was not caught.
Edy continued to do despicable things until his passion reached the breaking point and he could not resist anymore. Something that became a nightmare for every girl even befell a little girl who was not even fourteen years old at the time.
"Chandana, wake. Brother would say."
