Chandanas
Section 25

The first Monday of the first week of the twelfth month becomes the first day of school after the end of the semester exam on Saturday, two days earlier. The atmosphere of the school looks crowded because students and students already do not have hours of learning in the classroom. They were joking around in the open. Among others in front of the class, in the park, on the benches in all corners of the school, under the trees, in the canteen, in small sacks scattered in several school locations, as well as various other hangout spots that are available so much at Tunas Kelapa High School, the best SMA in the city. The goal is not grandiose, in addition to increasing student comfort, learning and teaching activities are also sometimes done outdoors. Not infrequently also students bring their books and laptops to do assignments outdoors or just enjoy free internet access provided by the school.

Before being closed the next two days, all students and students are required to come to school to make advanced preparations related to outbound activities that will be held in the coming days. They were assigned to draft a proposed activity to be submitted to the school as reference material, as well as a draft of personal activities every three classes - which would later be drawn-out because on the third day of the outbound, the school said, they will be given a full day of doing their own activities while being supervised by a designated teacher. This is done to train each student to be able to design an event and consult with other class members who in fact are not necessarily familiar with them.

Activities like this proved able to strengthen the brotherhood in the school. Dozens of previous generations who have now labeled alumni are still very compact and often hold joint events across alumni, showing how close their brotherhood even though they have been dozens or even decades apart.

Kiran is solemnly listening to Roka tell a story when a classmate gently pats Kiran on the shoulder.

"What's Dhea?" Kiran turned her head, figuring out what the girl needed to do with her.

"The class leader must be asked to gather to take a class combination draw. Bagas was busy with the osis boy, you changed him he gathered in the BK room huh?" Dhea played her fingers, hesitantly asking Kiran.

Everyone knew that Kiran was always cold and indifferent to everyone. Despite always doing the group tasks well and correctly, Kiran was always reluctant to comment a lot and put on an ugly and expressionless face whenever her friends tried to become familiar with Kiran. This semester Kiran did become more talkative with boys and began to socialize well, but in fact she still very much keep her distance with female students even though not as cold as before. It takes extra courage for every Kiran classmate who is female to ask her to talk because of the cold attitude that Kiran often shows. But even so, they all knew and understood very well that Kiran was a good person, much different from what the citizens of other classes had been talking about. Especially for male classmates Kiran and Roka, they understand each other very well and understand the real situation even though in the first year of the class had misjudged the two people.

"Okay!" Kiran smiled as she gave her thumbs up, making Dhea glare in wonder with a blushing face.

"Tumben you can smile?" Dhea tried to be calm even though she honestly couldn't wait to scream and talk about this to her friends who were busy peering at her actions from inside the classroom.

Before Dhea decides to disobey Kiran, she and her other classmates are appointed to go to Kiran. Although they all wanted to, but the embarrassment and fear of Kiran's response which might be indifferent made them think twice about doing this simple task. As a result, with all the awkwardness and fear, Dhea who was a class secretary also offered to talk to Kiran.

Kiran smiled clumsily at Dhea's words. Come to think of it, somehow now he feels more relaxed and calm in front of women. Not panicking and hurriedly wanting to dodge as usual. "Any huh?"

Roka who observed this ridiculous interaction in front of her was powerless not to smile. This was his first time seeing Kiran looking calm and normal when approached by women. Usually he will immediately put on a stiff expression and lazy gaze that will always succeed in hurting the heart of any woman who approaches him.

"It's so weird to you. Don't fall in love again, keep on fickle chameleon rich!" Roka hissed as she glanced at Dhea anxiously.

"What the hell. This chilli lo mouth is never really." Kiran denied Roka's accusations calmly.

Dhea laughed at the sight of the two. Kiran is indeed quite friendly to fellow men, but this is the first time seeing Kiran smiling and friendly to women. "Many smiles, Kiran. You're getting handsome with a smile."

Dhea ran quickly to class after saying her complete sentence. Leaving the powerless Kiran holding back a smile and the busy Roka hitting Kiran's arm.

"Crazy, Chandana managed to make a change of this magnitude. You know that I just dragged him to your life." Roka stood up, embracing Kiran's shoulder with her left hand while her right hand was busy shuffling her best friend's hair.

"It's not just Chandana. It is also thanks to you. Thanks kids. I will never dare to be myself rich if not for the help of all of you who believe in me," Kiran sighed in relief, as well as Roka who looked at her in disbelief.

It used to be just in front of Roka, Kiran had always been like this. Fun and what it is. But when it was around other people, especially women, Kiran always put on an annoying stiff expression that Roka himself could not see for long. Kiran then begins to improve by being friendly to their classmates, especially men. Now he has greatly improved by starting to be friendly to everyone, no longer willing to look arrogant and haughty. There is nothing happier for Roka than seeing Kiran successfully escape the past trauma that has been holding her back.

"Ngapain daydreaming? Let's go with me to the BK room to take the outbound lottery." Kiran patted Roka's arm which looked dreamy.

"Shirikiyy!" Roka screeched while running small, followed by Kiran behind her.

Both go hand in hand with the sumringah. Roka threw out some strange jokes that did not know why it made Kiran laugh a little at him. In one move Roka also spread eyes, eyes, and heart marks on every student they meet. All gazing at the two in delight and wonder, this was the first time for them to see a bright energy enveloping the two people as they walked together. Usually Kiran always looked straight ahead, ignoring everything she went through with a stiff expression. Now he smiles many times when he collides jokes with Roka. Unknowingly, the people who saw the two were also made to smile.

Kiran knocked slowly, then opened the door of the BK room when she realized dozens of other class representatives had gathered there. He enters alone while Roka waits outside with some of his basketball friends who happen to be hanging out around the room. A mild-bodied teacher greeted Kiran and invited her to sit in a chair that had been arranged in such a way. Kiran looked around, this was the second time she had gone to this place after her brawl incident with Rendi.

Right after Kiran sat on the chair, all eyes seemed to be on her. They were all looking at him in wonder, maybe they were wondering why it wasn't Bagas present. Although many doubted, Kiran was vice-chairman of the 11th class of Mipa 3, she and Bagas served as class leaders since the first semester and now they have almost crossed over to the 4th semester. He was a great thinker while Bagas was a wise leader and was able to direct his men well. Behind the success of Mipa 3 in incising names at each race between classes in various events, Kiran has always been behind them as a planner and ideator of unusual ideas that always surprise other classes. It was his side that not many others knew that made his classmates admire Kiran and trust her wholeheartedly.

Kiran nodded lightly. The man is Bayu, his partner on the futsal team. To be honest Kiran also just knew that Bayu was a class leader, naturally, this was the first time for Kiran to follow these kinds of things. After all, of the many present here, none of Kiran knew other than Bayu and...... Rehearsed. Kiran took a deep breath as she caught Ratih staring at her with her two sweet beads, Kiran lowered her head because she did not dare to look at the girl she had hurt her heart.

"Well from when you know, Bay. Bagas has business in isa. Not started yet, is it?" Kiran turned to look at Bayu.

"Not yet, there are only three classes that have yet to come." Bayu scratched his nape, at which time Kiran realized that Bayu had changed his hairstyle.

"New hair," Kiran smiled as she rubbed Bayu's head.

Bayu stopped Kiran's hand and placed it on the waist of the chair, "New what the fuck. I was told to cut my hair for losing a bet!"

"Betc? Same who?" Kiran wondered. As long as he followed the futsal practice, no child would offend a bet at all.

"Just like a basketball boy. Don't tell me Edy, bro! He must be very angry if he knew I was still dealing with them. I was forced yesterday to follow and can not refuse, in fact I am also lazy with his men Rendi!" Bayu whispered more slowly when he said the name Rendi. He grumbled while rubbing his head as he called out that name.

"Yes-yes. But good also gini plontos, say tau ntar pas pala lo tournament kicked not the ball." Kiran looked straight ahead as Bayu hit her shoulder in annoyance.

Three other class representatives were present. After they sat down, the fat man who had greeted Kiran at the door walked forward and opened his voice, "Good morning kids!"

"For sir!"

"You know what we're here to do? Well, for the 12th grade, our rules of the game are not the same as last year. Your outbound location and activities will also be different from 11th grade. So you will explain it to you later." the grunts of disappointment from the 12th class representatives filled the entire room.

"While it's for 11th grade, soon we'll be taking the lottery. Each class representative could go ahead and take out this small paper. The three classes that get the same picture will be one group, these three classes will later stay in the same villa and have one full day to organize activities agreed on the third day of the outbound together. In addition, later you can divide the entire child from these three classes into several small teams of ten children to become a team in all activities. The division of the bedroom and so on can be done and agreed upon together by these three classes. Understandable?" he said at length.

Kiran nodded slowly while still listening without a hint of distraction.

"And also, later you give a list of luggage that must and must not be brought. In addition, it is up to you to bring anything is also up to you. Because this event lasts for 4 days and 3 nights, I hope you can be wise and use it to find friends and knowledge as much as possible" continued the man, continued the man, all the students who were there nodded in unison.

Now all eyes are on a transparent box placed on a table in front of it. Inside were small paper scrolls containing pictures. Starting from the 12th grade, this shooting event took place.

White board that was originally empty and clean, now began to be filled by the names of fruits and classes in the group. Kiran was still observing seriously when her class name was called. With doubt Kiran walked forward, stuffed her hand into the transparent box and took out a roll of paper from it.

"Wine." said Kiran who inexplicably reaped the noise back there.

Without trying to figure out what was happening, Kiran returned to her seat calmly, then looked back at which class she belonged to. Kiran had not yet read, Bayu pulled Kiran's uniform to make her turn her head in shock, "What?"

"Lo class one group the same Train!"

Kiran was silent, without a second thought she immediately turned to the place where Ratih was sitting with the other class representatives who looked like her friends. Their eyes met because Ratih was indeed staring at Kiran. Not knowing how to react, Kiran finally smiled in a knot, trying to neutralize the tension on her and on Ratih's self. The girl looks shocked by what she sees, for a moment she glares in surprise while Kiran still looks at her with a smile that is still growing.

Some of the students who sat next to Ratih also began to realize the reason Ratih was silent, which then made them fall silent. If it was someone else who smiled at Ratih, then there would be no meaning because Ratih is indeed a popular girl in school who is adored for her beauty. But this was Kiran, a cold and indifferent figure who rejected Ratih spontaneously and openly in the presence of many people. Who had never been willing to see Ratih even when the girl smiled and greeted him after what he did.

With hesitation, Ratih returned Kiran's smile with her graceful and beautiful smile. Making Kiran fade her smile and look forward with relief. At least he should apologize to Ratih for his treatment first.

Kiran looked back at the board to make sure one more class was in her group. Kiran's eyes sparkled when she saw the 11 languages 1 that complemented their group.
