"Roman!" Edy exclaimed, calling Kiran who was visibly spared from the crowd.
Kiran looked over, "What's wrong?" tanyakanya.
Edy shrugged then hugged Kiran while patting her back several times, then took off a hug and held onto Kiran's shoulder with both hands, "Thank you a lot huh. I don't know what the fate of this team is without Elo! I salute you very much. Thanks very much!"
Kiran smiled, her expression stiff and not happy at all, "All of us who made this team made it here."
Edy nodded. However, he realized something was wrong with Kiran. In the midst of the victory they managed to get, his partner actually looks moody and unhappy. His expression and gait were completely uncharacteristic, "Lo sick?" Edy asked.
"Gue.. I go first, yes" Kiran asked for permission to resign. It can't stay here for long and attract more attention.
A few minutes ago as he was walking to leave the field, a dozen girls tried to stop him from taking Kiran a picture. If it was her old self, then Kiran would be arrogant and reject all of them. But somehow Kiran did not get to the heart, do not be arrogant, just refuse him as if not the heart. In the end, he inevitably had to fulfill their request. Which was originally only a dozen, increasing to touch the tens and maybe even hundreds. Because other girls continue to arrive even from opposing schools though. Therefore, before more and more people came to him, Kiran wanted to immediately retreat from the field and gain a bit of composure.
Kiran took her clothes and went into the bathroom. He tried to clean himself quickly although several times punctuated by daydreams. Kiran again thought about the dream she had when she was unconscious some time ago. Who is that boy? What does that shadow mean? Does the dream signify something?
Such questions kept raging in Kiran's mind. If indeed the dream means something, then it could be the purpose of the shadow that takes Chandana away is their separation. That Kiran and Chandana won't be together. Butwhat? What does that shadow symbolize? What or who would separate them? Kiran felt all this time they were fine and there were no meaningful problems. Kiran believes Chandana is happy and happy every time they are together. Then why did Chandana throw it away? What underlies that reason?
Kiran squeezed her wet hair while growling. Struck by the marble wall in front of him hard to make the back of his arms hurt and bruised. Kiran did not understand all this. Kiran did not understand what was really going on. Was all the happiness she experienced yesterday just a dream?
With hesitation, Kiran touched her lips. He closed his eyes while resting on the wall with one hand, "Complicated," he whispered softly.
---
"Kiraaaannnn!"
The sound of someone shouting accompanied by the sound of the door slamming made Kiran jump from the sofa. It felt like he had just closed his eyes after hours of thinking and guessing at the reason that made Chandana act like that.
Kiran looked up from behind the sofa and breathed a lazy sigh when she saw Roka walking towards her with a box of cookies. Behind him, stood Naya who was seen wearing a birthday hat.
Who's the birthday?
"Why are you two?" Kiran got up from her position to sit on the sofa while Roka and Naya slammed themselves on the other sofa that was in front of Kiran.
"We're going to do it here!" Roka exclaimed in excitement while patting the top of Naya's head.
Kiran frowned, not understanding, "Huh? Why are you both here? Don't macem-macem!" I don't know where the indecent thoughts in Kiran's mind came from, but she was really worried if these two friends were planning a honeymoon at her house.
"God, I'm the same macem. I slept in your room let Naya in Arda's room" Roka got up from the sofa to tear apart the plastic bag she had thrown on the table. Take a bottle of drink and gulp it down as if he had not been drinking for a whole month.
"What's the show?" Kiran still does not understand the reason Naya and Roka suddenly come to her house and say they want to stay overnight.
Roka sighed, "Tomorrow lo lo my friend's birthday," Roka looked at Kiran then sipped her drink again, "There is also a discussion among us that has not been completed," Roka continued her sentence with an expression that changed by almost 180 degrees.
Kiran took a deep breath while slashing her body from the sofa to sit on the hairy carpet beneath them. He grabbed a crackle filled with snacks and took out a packet of chips and opened it with a stiff and moody expression, "What discussion?"
"Gue think we need to talk about the people we're talking to at school, or wherever it is. But before, I wanted to hear the reason you fainted this morning. What's the matter with Chandana?" now Roka had fully expressed her seriousness.
Sculpting Kiran, Roka and Naya simultaneously churned themselves to sit on the carpet, trying to slash the distance between them, "Yes. I also want to talk about Chandana," Naya chimed in. After hearing the story from Roka this morning, Naya considered telling Kiran something about Chandana.
Kiran looked at Naya and Roka alternately. He had promised to accept the help of others whenever he got into trouble, and now Kiran really had to trust Roka and Naya so that she could rely on both. He took a lot of breaths before deciding to start telling stories.
"Before Chandana didn't go to school, the same night I went out. I took him to some places that I thought would make him happy and happy. It was a beautiful night, I never felt so happy in my entire life and I'm sure he was just as happy. We go home around 9 or 10 o'clock I forgot. He asked me to bring him back to his house. I mean, all this time he never wanted me to pick him up or anter him up to the house, but that night he asked in the anter until the front of the house. The next day he didn't come in and you know what happened after that" Kiran stopped the story. Roka and Naya seem to be watching him and take everything he says very seriously.
"So morning?" Roka asked, he could not hold back any longer because his curiosity had already reached the crown.
"So morning he went to school. I samperin him, I asked him how he was. But he's different, he's like he's got me. I tried to keep him talking and finally he bales my talk by telling me to go. He asked me to stay away from him, he asked me not to talk to him or be close to him. I was shocked and didn't know what to do. It hurt so much that I didn't know how to explain it," Kiran felt her eyes heat up as she recalled every detail of what happened this morning.
Naya and Roka were speechless at Kiran's explanation. They seem equally surprised.
Kiran bit her lower lip, hesitatingly saying, "We kissed," Kiran said, making Roka almost scream, "Ma-I mean I want to kiss her but she retreats, saying, yaudah I looked up but instead he kissed me. Yes-Yes that's the point," Kiran threw away her face in embarrassment. Besides, why would he explain everything to Roka? What's wrong with kissing? Kiran rubbed her ears that were somehow red as she glanced at Roka who was still smiling with an annoying look.
"Gue initially also thought, is it okay because that Chandana is angry with me," Kiran tried to change the direction of their conversation to return to the main topic.
Naya who had been seen thinking was shaking slowly, "Gue doesn't think that's why," he said.
"Certainly? Especially? There's no way she's like that without a reason, right?" Roka glanced at Naya with eyes full of question marks.
Naya bit her fingernails while staring at Roka and Kiran alternately. He has a very serious dilemma because Naya knows the big secret that Chandana has been hiding all along. However, Naya has no right to say anything even to Kiran. If Chandana tells him a secret, Naya will keep it a secret.
"Nay?" Roka touched Naya's shoulder. The two men are waiting for Naya to speak.
"Wait, but.. You said he asked to be ushered in to the front of the house?" Naya asked again while Kiran answered with a nod.
Naya fell silent again, as if she was thinking.
Roka breathed a huff, "Nay, if you know something, our same story. There will be no point if you simpen yourself like this you know not!"
Naya growled in frustration. The problem is, he can not just dismantle the secrets of others, especially this is not a secret that can be easily accepted by anyone who hears it.
After a long moment of thought, Naya exclaimed, "He is in danger. Anyway I said the same lo on, he is not okay now! Anyway, today he also fucked me. He dodged desperately and did not care at all when I was talking. And..," Naya again stopped, it was hard to uncover all the truth that had been buried neatly.
"And what's Nay?" Kiran who now feels panic is not playing after Naya says Chandana is in danger and has no power to refrain from hearing the full story.
"Lo know all this time he's always been wearing long sleeves? Even at school he always wore a cardigan," Naya looked at Roka and Kiran who nodded in unison.
"When we change clothes for sport, I see a lot of bruises on his body" Naya explained in a soft voice.
For this, Chandana always dodged and said that the bruise was created due to falling or bumping. But Naya understands very well that that is not the real reason because the bruises never run out. Disappear in one place, reappear in another. How could Chandana hit or fall almost every day?
Kiran gritted her teeth, her hands clenched in anger and worry, "Who's doing this?"
Naya shrugged, "For that matter I don't know. He's never been honest."
Kiran closed her eyes tightly then exhaled violently. Why, Chandana, why. Why don't you tell me, why don't you ask me for help? Inner Kiran raged. He regretted not being able to realize everything. He regretted not finding out more about Chandana when they were together.
"Gue thinks you should go to his house, maybe his parents can help," Roka told. Right now there was indeed nothing else that Kiran could do besides that.
"G-I think.. Don't be, "Naya's trying to prevent Kiran from going to Chandana's house.
Roka and Kiran compactly turned their heads while saying almost simultaneously, "Why?"
"Yes.. If you want to come there, I don't think let this matter go. Come carefully and find out secretly. Maybe Chandana just wants to hide all this from her parents or what's the reason? What is certain is not to act rashly," said Naya, he tried to remind so that bad things do not happen.
Kiran nodded in understanding, "Tomorrow I go to her house before the match."
Roka raised next to her eyebrows, "Yakin lo?"
"You know, I'm afraid tomorrow I can't focus on the final. Anyway, nyokap, the same as I come tomorrow. I have to perform optimally so that they are proud," Kiran explained, she was afraid that her curiosity and worries would affect her performance on the field. Besides Kiran can't let Chandana wait any longer, she wants to protect the girl she loves at all costs.
Roka nodded in agreement. On the other hand, Naya looks uneasy hearing Kiran's decision. I don't know what Naya is thinking, for sure she is doubtful whether Kiran's decision will save Chandana or just the opposite.
If only Naya could say everything to Kiran and Roka, all of this would definitely be easier to understand. Unfortunately, Naya could not. Opening someone else's secret is not a good thing to do. Moreover, if Chandana wanted Kiran to know everything, she would definitely tell everything herself without waiting for this man to die from worry and curiosity.
Even so, Naya was now feeling very worried. He was afraid that something worse would happen to Chandana after this. He did not know what to do to help Chandana because his best friend was now cheating even acting like they did not know each other. Therefore the only hope now was for Kiran. Only the man Naya can trust to help Chandana out of whatever it is that now holds her back.
