A hot and exhausting day at school has passed. Although it is not easy for Ratih to break the toxic friendship he has been with several friends, at least now Ratih feels a little better. For him, losing some friends feels truer than choosing to survive but still be in each other's falsity.
On the way home, a brilliant idea came to mind when he accidentally saw a bookstore that looked crowded with visitors. Although he had missed a few meters, Ratih told his driver to turn around because he wanted to visit the store.
During this time, Ratih often finds out information and things that Kiran likes or dislikes. He knew very well that reading was one of the things Kiran did most often. Therefore, he is now trying to find reading material that may be able to fill his free time and eliminate the boredom of Kiran while in the hospital.
Although hesitant to return to the hospital, Ratih decided that he should try it. The only reason he decided to leave was Kiran's healing progress. If the man is left alone and bored, he may become stressed which will be bad for the healing process.
Enthusiastically, Ratih looked around and read some synopsis of the book that he found interesting. Truth be told, I also like to read. He loves biographies of famous people. He is very interested in the life stories of influential figures because for him the experience that these people have is a very valuable science. Ratih realized that he might not be lucky enough and could experience all the things that every character he read his life story. Therefore, Ratih tries to find knowledge and knowledge through the life experiences of others in the hope of taking good things and throwing bad things from each story.
So, now Ratih was confused what kind of book Kiran liked. Although he knew that Kiran had a hobby of reading books, he did not understand what kind of reading the man liked. If allowed to guess, Ratih might choose books smelling history or philosophy books? When viewed from the character of Kiran, he may be a fan of heavy books that require his readers to think hard.
However, if Ratih's conjecture is correct, he still won't choose the books to give to Kiran. The man needed something that could comfort him. Something that can repel stress and make his mood awake.
After walking around here and looking at various types of books in various genres, Ratih walked to the row of colorful bookshelves that were almost a quarter of the height of other bookshelves. Train crouching and picking up one of the books. Apparently the books here are books intended for children.
A fairy-tale?
Ratih picked up one of the fairy tale books that he thought attracted the most attention. Train to read the synopsis that is behind the book then smile knots. This is the book he has been looking for since. Picture books are light to read and pamper the eyes due to beautiful pictures and visualizations. Behind it, there is a mandate and meaning in the story of the characters.
Train smiled brightly as he walked towards the cashier table. After further consideration, he decided to take two different titles. One of them is a continuous story consisting of several series of fairy tale books. If later Kiran is interested in what he brings, Ratih does not mind if you have to go back to the bookstore to buy a continuation series of one of the fairy tale books he chose.
After paying for everything, Ratih returned to the car and asked the Driver to drive him to the hospital. Because now the lessons in school have begun to be effective, so you have to learn and do assignments at night. Therefore today he decided to go to visit Kiran after school because in the evening Ratih had to study at home.
Along the way, Ratih looked out the car window blankly. Throughout her life, Ratih has always been known as a tough and strong-minded girl. This is also supported by the fact that Ratih has a sharp eye highlight and a firm facial line. This makes him look strong and charismatic.
Unknowingly, people's views towards her made Ratih grow into a girl who was in line with people's words. It became as big as it is now and became as strong as people talk about. It's just because of that he almost never had a chance to be able to show his weak and frail side. However, Ratih has a side of a woman who often feels sad and easily hurt, regardless of how she is when viewed from the outside.
Growing up in the company of an older brother who is also almost the same nature makes Ratih trained to save all his sadness and weakness, burying all incompetence and accentuating the strong side that is able to make anyone amazed when they see it.
Ratih rubbed his face. Somehow watching the streets made him sleepy.
"Sir, I'll wake up when I get there" said Ratih to the driver who is now busy observing the road and driving a car.
"Good, Non."

"Hi," Kiran who was looking at the ceiling of the room where she was suddenly turned her head after hearing someone's greeting.
Ratih was walking towards Kiran with a paper bag containing two fairy tale books that he had bought at the bookstore. Before entering into Kiran's room, Ratih had met with both of Kiran's parents in front of the room. Kiran's father and mother are seen seriously talking to the doctor when they realize the arrival of Ratih. Warmly, the two greeted Ratih with open arms and invited him into the room where Kiran was resting.
If you may argue, Ratih feels that Kiran's mother must not have gotten enough sleep during the past few days. Although her face still looked beautiful, the blackened eye bags still could not hide the fact that she had been crying a lot and was lacking rest. So does Kiran's father, who looks miserable and tired, perhaps because he has to divide his time between work and Kiran. But one thing that Ratih liked from both of Kiran's parents was the fact that they kept their baby ahead of the tired and the work.
"Lo dates?" Kiran smiled brightly when she found out that Ratih had come to see her.
Since the arrival of Roka, Ratih, and Naya some time ago, there were only a few friends who came to see him and that was not long. Roka and Naya are busy taking care of the race proposal for extra basketball that some time ago was rejected so they can not see Kiran too often. Although his mother always tried to accompany him, Kiran still often told her mother to come out of the room to rest because she herself did not have the heart to see a tired face and adorn her mother's face because she was busy watching and making sure she was okay all the time.
Ratih pulled out a chair and sat down next to Kiran's bed, " Guess what I brought?" Ratih lifted the paperbag he was carrying, revealing a mysterious smile so that Kiran had trouble guessing it.
Instead of thinking of guessing the contents of the bag, Kiran turned her eyes while holding back a laugh, "Mbak, maap-maap ya. Clearly there was a bookstore written all over gaban," Kiran accused a large writing written on the paperbag.
Ratih quickly flipped the paperbag and then read the writing, "Yhaa I pointed it behind anj*r," Ratih patted his eel because he felt stupid.
Kiran held back her laughter because if she laughed casually, it did not rule out the possibility that the stitches that were still not dry would reopen.
"Lo bring what book?" Kiran who was still unable to move too much of her body was only able to move her neck and hands carefully. Sometimes this also makes his neck hurt and makes him difficult every time he wants to see something.
Ratih took out two fairy tale books that he bought and lifted them so that Kiran could see without having to bother looking, "Tales!"
Kiran blinked a few times, not expecting what she saw, "Lo was joking huh? I'm a kind of kid if you bring a fairy tale book," said Kiran who still does not understand why Ratih brought him a picture storybook that honestly looks very silly.
Ratih shakes his head while observing the book in his hand, "Gue is thinking to buy you a book that you usually read. But with your condition now rich books that will be boring and afraid to make you more stressed. So why not try the boys' book as an experiment?" Ratih smiled as he raised his eyebrows.
Kiran also smiled, not understanding the mind path of Ratih which is often unexpected, "Okedeh. Where do I see," Kiran extended her hand.
Ratih gave one book to Kiran. The man put the book on his stomach and opened the first page. Kiran tried to move her body to lean slightly on the edge of the bed as she felt pain because the wounds on her back and stomach had not completely dried up. As a result Kiran must look to read the book that was brought by Ratih or read it by lifting the book right on the face so that all the writing and images in it can be read.
Ratih who had seen Kiran having trouble positioning the book began to feel pity. The man was completely powerless, even to read was now a difficult thing for him to do.
With a slow motion, Ratih took the book from Kiran's hand. He glanced at Kiran who seemed confused by his earlier stance, feeling the need to explain, Ratih said, "Let me do the reading. Lo listen to it while lying down."
Kiran smiled. He could not read it himself if he did not want to get a cramp of the neck or have minus eyes.
Ratih opened the first page of the book, "One day, there lived a rabbit who loved to help other animals in the forest. All animals love the Rabbit because he is smart and kind to all forest dwellers. Once, the Rabbit was walking alone when he suddenly heard a scream. The Rabbit who was surprised even tried to find the source of the sound. He walked around..."
Practice reading the fairy tale book clearly and slowly. Kiran who originally thought the idea of Ratih to give her a fairy tale book was ridiculous has now completely drifted into the story. Inexplicably hearing the story of the Rabbit made Kiran remember herself.
On the other hand, Ratih who repeatedly glanced at Kiran was happy because it turned out that the man was starting to be enthusiastic about the contents of the story. Ratih deliberately chose this story because he knew that the story of the Rabbit is almost the same as Kiran who always tried her best for others but was reluctant to ask for help from others because she did not want to become a burden to those closest to them.
Throughout the story, Kiran just kept quiet while listening to everything that Ratih said attentively. Kiran seemed to be able to feel what was experienced by the Rabbit because their story was almost the same.
In the middle of the story, Kiran asks, "Well, why does the Rabbit love to help other animals?"
Ratih turned his gaze that had only been fixed on the book now to Kiran, "Everyone has a humanitarian side. Everyone has a tendency to help others. The only difference is, which is more dominant and which is his choice. The Rabbit helps others because there is a humanitarian side, - eh what is the wonder?- In him and he embodies that side of his wonder in a way that helps other animals," Ratih glanced at Kiran who was now listening to her words carefully.
"We are rich, man. There are those whose human side tends to be a good listener, giving and helping others, there are also those who realize their human side by caring for themselves. Humanizing himself which sometimes even leads to selfish or selfish attitude. Everyone has that side, depending on how and where we take it."
Kiran smiled, "So rich vices huh. Everyone has a tendency to do bad things, but go back to how they handled it. A good man doesn't mean he doesn't have bad qualities, only he can suppress his bad qualities and be a good man."
Ratih nodded in agreement. He was about to reread the book on his lap when Kiran asked some people who liked to do good. But good deeds are often mistaken for likes or interests. When people think rich, they begin to put their hopes on, and when they realize that hope will not come true they become disappointed and hurt. The initial intention to do good leads to hurting others. If for that reason someone stops doing good, what do you think is natural?"
Ratih looked at Kiran for a moment, inwardly he said *Then talking to yourself, huh? I'm sorry but I* ain't holding the same hope you are, bye.
