After getting a mandate from Kiran to find out about a girl named Chandana, Roka rushed to contact all the women she knew. He started from the most basic students, namely the 10th class to arrive at the 12th grade. Replies after replies have been obtained from the people he contacted, but unfortunately he did not manage to get any information, he did not get any information, because surprisingly of the many people he contacted no one knows a girl named Chandana. This certainly makes Roka confused, for some time he had thought hard by weighing whether this girl was from the same school.
After thinking hard, in the end an idea that cannot be said to be brilliant crossed Roka's mind, namely by trying to find information about the girl through social media. With his Instagram account having tens of thousands of followers, he began exploring the instagram accounts of high school students Tunas Kelapa.
After a long search, Roka never found it, none of his friends who followed or followed the account with the frills of the name Chandana. He almost gave up and desperately searched until he was about to call Kiran to say the results he got from all the search efforts he made when suddenly an incoming call came from one of the contacts whatsapp.
Roka quickly picked up the call without even having a chance to see the name of the contact who called her.
"Hello, what's wrong malem-malem chat me?"
Roka was silent for a while until she finally checked her phone screen, her eyes widened when she saw the name 'Naya Bagong' printed on her phone screen. For a moment he was silent because he felt surprised and astonished. In retrospect, Naya is the only woman who has never lost her seduction, never returned the message if it was not important, even often ignore his greeting because of ilfeel with Roka's behavior that often spread charm.
Roka's coquettish nature and fad in all the women apparently made Naya cross off Roka from her dream man list. It is evident from how fierce Naya is every time they meet or talk, although Naya is famous for being ignorant and stupid in all men, but every time she sees Roka, the girl is always more ferocious, he said, he always looks upset and like he wants to catch.
"Eng.. There's nothing. I want it to doang."
"What's the?"
"You don't want to be the lamp of my life?"
"Bye."
Roka who was trying to tease Naya suddenly laughed in response to the girl's response, he wanted to throw another style if he did not think back to his original goal, which was to find out about the girl named Chandana. "Heeeehhhh, wait elo mah, people are joking doang too. I want her to know the same thing as Chandana?"
For a while there was no reply from Naya, Roka even thought that Naya might have hung up. He was about to check if their call was still connected when suddenly Naya's shrill voice tore through the silence that had been created before.
"Ohhh, Chandana? Know, he is my classmate. Uh, don't tell me you want to tempt him?"
"Huh? It's really good to have a mouth beating, yeah, I don't know. Sori dori nih, but judging by her name she's not my type."
"Songong yes. Who's your rich name?"
"The rich elo." Roka involuntarily smiled as soon as she finished her sentence. He was imagining how funny Naya's expression was right now.
"Buset, seriously I close the phone if you keep it."
"Yes, it's your own fault. Tell me what Chandana dong is."
"Hm, I don't deket anyway. Actually, no one is the same. Everywhere is always alone. Often in deketin boys but he's cute and pendiem really. A lot of girls in my class. She was also covered up and barely spoke to each other. But I know he's a good boy, I don't want you to disturb him yeah, look out for you."
Roka fell silent. Hearing Naya's words made him think that the path Kiran would take to get close to Chandana would not be easy.
Without them realizing it, the conversation originally intended to discuss Chandana began to spread to other topics. Roka and Naya both do not realize that for the first time, they tell each other honestly, without any attempts to tease or reject as they usually do, everything flows naturally. Without a doubt, both of them managed to be themselves.
That night, for almost an hour and a half, through a brief communication, they discovered and learned a new fact that what they had been thinking about each other was not entirely true.
---
Kiran looked at Roka once more to make sure her best friend was serious and not messing around. "Seriously? Is it okay to say 'hi' doang?"
Last night, Roka managed to get Chandana's id line from Naya. To get it is certainly not easy, Roka must submit some reasons that if able to convince Naya. But fortunately for them, because after Naya asked Chandana for permission to give her id to a friend, Chandana agreed.
"Keet you want to tell me what? Time you say 'Hey cute, treat me to meatballs dong in the cafeteria, I've helped find id line gebetan'." said Roka while inserting a little hope in each sentence.
"Hah, my time suddenly asked for a treat for him anyway. Not really lo." reply Kiran who apparently could not catch the heart of Roka.
After so much debate, Kiran finally sent Chandana a message of greeting as well as their original plan. Although the message had been successfully sent, apparently the stubborn feeling that Kiran had experienced did not immediately disappear. She kept checking her phone to see if Chandana had read her messages. This continued even as the break bell had rang.
"It's a new lo kayak for the first time ngechat aja anyway." Roka tapped on her phone screen while muttering, Kiran glanced at her and found that her best friend was playing a fighting game.
"Yes first time how the hell you are," Kiran tried to stay calm and not worry too much. Although this was the first time for him to send a message first to a woman, he felt that he had to remain cool and authoritative.
After making sure once again that Chandana has not read the message, Kiran decides to join the game with Roka. Lucky for him because playing games a little distraction and eliminate anxiety in his heart. They were both engrossed in playing until they realized the school cafeteria was almost uninhabited.
Realizing that they are late to return to class, Roka proposes to Kiran to ditch all of them. Initially Kiran refused on the pretext of worrying about getting a parent's call letter, she also felt heavy hearted leaving math lessons. But with Roka's expertise as a professional persuader, Kiran who was originally firm on her stance was willing to skip lessons.
The two walked to the park behind the school. They decided to ditch the back garden because although it was not completely deserted, the back garden of the school was quite far from the teacher room as well as the classroom, so their chances of getting caught were relatively small.
Kiran walked towards the corner of the garden and sat right under a large tree whose leaves were shady enough to shelter, followed by Roka who then sat beside her. For a few moments they just remained silent while circulating their gaze to observe the surroundings. Come to think of it, this was Kiran's first time going to the back garden. He had never gone anywhere but classes, parking lots, canteens, fields, and libraries. The reluctance to meet many people makes Kiran lazy to walk around the school.
But not only Kiran, Roka was actually the first time to go to the back garden. Although famous for its image of playboy and crocodile men, in fact Roka never directly approached women first - except when asking for a treaty. Roka is also the same as Kiran who never once dated. Although many women were close to him, Roka never really knew them well let alone had a serious relationship. Just greeting each other and sharing jokes - seduction in general.
"Sep at school, why?" Kiran reached into her pocket and then pulled out her phone to re-check how her short message went for Chandana.
"This person forgets what he is, this is us again truant peak," grumbled Roka, who then took off his shoes because he felt uncomfortable feeling on his left leg. And sure enough, a small amount of pebbles fell to the ground as he tapped the shoe.
Roka was about to check her right shoe when the corner of her eye accidentally caught Kiran's strange expression, her best friend looking surprised while staring at the screen of her mobile phone. The curious Roka also inched closer to Kiran so that she could also see what would make Kiran as surprised as it was. "Udah read?" it was the first thing Roka said shortly after looking at Kiran's phone screen.
"Udah was like that. Why not reply?" kiran asked Roka who suddenly made his friend difficult to answer. Instead of giving an answer that might dampen Kiran's spirit, Roka tried to give input so that Kiran tried harder.
"Spam already, maybe he thinks you're a prank. But spamnya tuh quality, do not get unclear, ntar there he ilfeel." Kiran nodded in response to the advice Roka had conveyed. With trembling hands, Kiran started tapping on her phone screen, typing in a few words and sending them to Chandana.
After successfully sending his message to Chandana, he pressed the home button on the top right of his phone, trying to check once again the girl's homepage. But unlike before, this time Kiran could not find any of the posts that were previously on Chandana's account. He tried to refresh several times, but the update remained unfilled. "Heh, what's the matter? My line's broken, huh?"
Roka approached then picked up Kiran's phone. He checked it several times, then returned the phone. "Destroyed from where, it's mah elo in the same block as him," said Roka while trying to hold back a laugh.
Kiran was gaping, surprised not playing. "Huh? How come?"
"It was thought that you guys were a prank." Roka casually raised her eyebrows while trying to lure Kiran.
Kiran was silent at first while putting on an annoyed face, but her expression softened a few seconds later. "Gue has no intention of fad. I just want to be friends with him because I think we have the same reading taste. Finding the same name for two books in different places, how could I possibly let go of this weird coincidence?" kiran is obviously long.
Roka had previously lured Kiran out for wanting to hear her confession in case her friend was indeed liking a girl, because if that was the case, then it was a sign that Kiran had managed to defeat her past traumas and fears. Roka always hoped that Kiran would no longer blame herself for what happened in the past, Roka wanted Kiran to stop being someone she was not if she was in front of others. He wanted others to see the side that Kiran had shown only to those closest to him, the side that Kiran never showed in front of women and people who were not their close friends. The soft, warm, attentive side, as well as the brash side.
Despite not getting the answer he wanted to hear, Roka was already satisfied to hear Kiran's words just now. At the very least, Kiran had made quite a good progress.
"Samperin just go to his class" said Roka in response to Kiran's explanation.
"Basic crazy. What do people say later?" reply Kiran after hearing the unreasonable input that Roka gave.
"That's a great habit of lo, horrifying me ya bangkul. Don't cry people say, if you're not wrong and what they're talking about is not true, why do you ribet anyway? Never think of people, think of yourself occasionally. Entar long-time lying mouth trash they will also cross themselves because it is not proven, while if you continue to hear the talk of people, while, you will not be calm because after finishing the same one they will continue to talk about new things. I'm just cool, a happy life." explained Roka at length. Kiran who heard was almost moved because for the first time Roka said something valuable after all his life just saying things useless.
"So the point is I have to ignore the same opinion of people and do whatever I want from it is true and not wrong?" Kiran tried to convince herself by asking back the gist of her long advice.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Of course you've been ngibulin girls here and there asking for a tract, woo all the macems are innocent, my friend?" Kiran smiled slightly as she put her phone in her pocket. Sometimes his friend also needs to remind him.
"No, no."
"It's not wrong to mean it."
