Roka massaged his temple, feeling very tired after all the rides he rode with Naya, "Udah hakutin the Chandana?" ask Roka to Naya who looks busy with her phone.
"Udah but not yet bales. That's a kid who rarely opens the phone, I tried to call Kiran huh?" Naya offers Roka another option so that they can immediately contact her two friends.
Roka frowned "But the Kiran also rarely opened hp. Where are they, then? Which vehicle do you think they might be riding? Which Chandana wouldn't be afraid of."
Naya was still thinking when without feeling they walked through the vehicle block with low adrenaline. Of the many rides that are visible to the eye, a giant reed lala managed to steal Naya's attention, "Maybe they're not riding it?" said Naya while pointing towards the reang lala which is rotating slowly, presenting beauty and tranquility for anyone who sees it.
Roka looked in the direction Naya pointed. Without hesitation Roka nodded in agreement with Naya's question. This time he felt confident that Kiran would not be that stupid as wasting a romantic opportunity like this, even though Roka rarely watched romance movies, she said, but he understood very well that the ringleader is always synonymous with romantic things, especially for couples who are in amusement rides like this. He smiled excitedly at what might happen if this assumption were true.
Sidecar? A hug? Or even..... A kiss? Awwwww, my friend is gedeeeee.
"Did? Why the smile itself so, where use hit my hands again! Is that crazy, right?" Naya exclaimed in annoyance as she felt her arms continue to be slowly nudged by Roka.
"Yes sorry. I was just excited, about them doing it up there," Roka smiled enthusiastically. He really hoped that Kiran could recoup the opportunity she had as best she could.
Naya snorted, "Ye, if they were clear they would be macems. Surely they're looking down here at each other, romantic uhuy no?"
Roka bent her lips, belittling Naya's version of the romantic definition, "Heh, so romantic doang of her man! Come on, sit there. Let's wait for them to really ride this what not," Roka led Naya to sit on one of the wooden chairs in the court of a comedy swivel. Hoping for their conjecture to be correct, at least then they both can feel more relieved because the plan they have prepared will not end in vain.
On the other hand, the gondola that Kiran and Chandana ride is now almost at the highest point. The scenery is more beautiful, the wind that hit them was blowing increasingly louder to fly strands by strands of Chandana hair that is scattered. The girl seemed to have difficulty enjoying the scenery because her hair continued to cover her face and both eyes so she had to fix her hair many times even though in the end the wind again made her messy.
Kiran reached into her pants pocket, took out a plain blue handkerchief, "You want to wear this to tie your hair?" Kiran offers.
Chandana looked back, she saw Kiran holding out a handkerchief with a timid face. Chandana accepted the handkerchief expressionlessly, "Thank you."
Kiran nodded slowly, a hint of sadness burst into her heart as she looked back at Chandana looking at her with an expressionless face. He turned his body back to the window, observing all the objects and humans below him quietly until Chandana opened her voice, "Why do you want to be friends with me?"
Kiran looked back, Chandana looking back at her with her hair already ponytailed. A faint smile spread across Kiran's lips, then looked back out the window, "I don't know, I'm not a person who likes to hang out with others. But somehow I keep feeling like I want to be close to you."
"Why do you want to be friends with me? Naya said you never wanted to have friends before," Kiran asked.
For a few seconds, there was no answer from Chandana. Only the rustling sound of the fire engines broke the silence around them.
"You're good" Chandana replied in the end.
Kiran smiled wryly at the girl's reply, "Don't joke. In this world a lot of people either Chandana, or you accept me as a friend just out of pity to look at,"
"But in this world only you are good to me." Chandana cuts off Kiran's words, leaving the man speechless with all guilt and remorse for foolishly saying what he should have kept in his heart.
"Before, for me the good man never existed. People do good only because they feel pity or maybe because they want to be considered good by others" Chandana rubs her arm, the bitter memory of everything he had been through all this time re-emerged into his head, "But you don't even know anything about me to feel pity, but you don't even know anything about me, you do good things for yourself and not for others." Chandana said softly while Kiran was still staring at the soft voice of Chandana which actually made Kiran feel more guilty.
"So when you get to know me," Chandana smiled wryly, "Stay good because you want to, not because you feel sorry for me."
After expressing all her heart, Chandana walks out of the gondola that has now stopped perfectly. Not too long did Kiran follow him from behind. Naya and Roka ran towards them with their faces sumringah. Both of them were relieved that their conjecture proved to be true, Chandana and Kiran had just descended from the same gondola. In addition, the two also do not stop praising Chandana who looks very beautiful with horse-tailed hair. Roka enthusiastically asked them about what they were doing since deciding to split up this morning. Chandana explained in a clear and brief what they did because there were not many things that could be told. Even so, Roka still looks excited because the activities of the two friends are closed romantically through the loud ringing fire.
On the other hand Kiran looks more silent because he is busy thinking about Chandana's words. He should not judge the reason Chandana gave just because he thought that 'Good' was too commonplace and naive. He should be able to understand the girl because basically they both have bad experiences with other people. He should be able to better understand Chandana because he was in that position. But more than anything, Kiran could not stop thinking about Chandana's last sentence before coming out of the gondola. Why should he feel sorry for Chandana? What kind of person is Chandana? What kind of bad things had he experienced to make him become a very closed and mysterious person like now?
Kiran is determined to find out more about Chandana, get to know her better, making her smile even more.
"Would you go straight home and eat first?" Roka looked at her three friends in turn.
"I want to just go home, right away" Chandana became the first to answer.
Naya who was very tired also decided to go straight home, "Gue Anterin Chandana came home. We're both first, right?"
"You sure? Do we have antherin?" Roka offered, although it was not yet dark, that it was less ethical to let women go home alone.
Roka and Kiran compactly watch over the two girls until they completely disappear behind the turn.
"Where-how? Not smooth?" Roka looked at Kiran expectantly.
Kiran rubbed her face, "Yes well anyway. But I'm doing something I shouldn't be doing,"
Roka frowned, "Huh? Whahuh? Don't tell me you suddenly farted right again on a date?"
"The nutmeg lo tuh. It's nothin. Bottom line smoothly. But thank you, because of this useless event I was able to clear up the previous misunderstanding," Kiran sighed while smiling thinly.
"Yes-yes. And it is jude who seeks food. I'm so tired," Roka patted his stomach that all day he had not had time to fill carbohydrates at all.
Kiran nodded lightly then walked in tandem with Roka towards the exit. The memory of everything going on all day brings Kiran to the part where she gives Chandana a handkerchief to tie her hair. This makes Kiran remember about the handkerchief that she had found in Uks a few days ago.
"My passport is on uks, who comes to my bed deck?" ask Kiran suddenly.
Roka raised her eyebrows in surprise, "Gue is the same as Naya doang. Why emang? Don't-don't, elo...." Roka opened her mouth wide while pointing at Kiran with her left index finger.
"What the hell. No, I got a handkerchief under the bed. The color toska. The smell of perfume is rich I know but forget whose smell, does Naya have?" Somehow Kiran felt very familiar with the scent, but no matter how hard she tried to remember, Kiran still could not dig back the memory.
"Not in power. He didn't get anything out of his pocket let alone a handkerchief. But let me ask you a question, "Roka took off the ticket bracelet that was coiled in her hand just after they passed the exit.
"But if Naya doesn't have who?" Kiran was still wondering about the handkerchief to make Roka feel furious.
"Heh, Handsome. You will have a lot of fens, yes just a time you are still sleeping there are cool elo, caressing lo, seducing lo, but you are not aware! Gausah lebay!" Roka reached into his pocket, trying to find the keys to his bike.
"Asem lo," Kiran pushed lightly on Roka's body while walking towards her motorbike.
They went to a nearby fast food restaurant and ate and talked together. Roka told him all the things he did with Naya as well as Kiran who said whatever happened between her and Chandana though not all. Kiran had the intention to tell Roka about the criminal's exit from prison, but after she considered it once again, Kiran abandoned her intentions.
Tomorrow they have started to carry out the final exam of the semester, Kiran does not want to make Roka not focus by telling about it. Let time pass until they have finished their exams this week. That way Kiran can tell Roka without fear of interrupting her study time.
---
The final semester exam has arrived. All students of Tunas Kelapa High School are competing to achieve high grades by applying various learning methods that they have obtained from the school so far. Starting from summarizing, doing problems, or even speeding systems overnight become a routine for almost all students in the exam weeks. Tunas Kelapa High School is one of the schools that are very opposed and will crack down on all kinds of cheating in the test. Therefore all students always try to give their best efforts, even for lazy students like Roka though.
Not much happened during the exam. All extracurricular activities and organizations were suspended so that no students were in school after school hours ended. This is done so that the concentration of students is not divided into other things and remain focused on the implementation of the exam in order to obtain optimal learning results. In addition to the suspension of student activities, all school facilities including sports buildings, health rooms, libraries, canteens, halls, gyms, swimming pools, and others are also closed after school hours end.
All the restrictions placed by the school make Kiran unable to meet at all with Chandana. Since their last meeting, Kiran wanted to apologize for her words in the gondola. Though unsure, he was afraid that his words hurt Chandana. But until the last day of the school exam, Kiran never got a chance to meet Chandana.
Kiran could have contacted Naya to ask Chandana for contact, but Kiran felt that speaking directly would be better because all she wanted to do was apologize, not the other. In addition, Chandana has also not canceled its block on Kiran in the Line application since one or two months ago. Although this continued to disturb his mind, this time Kiran managed to put aside the entire problem and stay focused on learning.
The last day of testing has arrived. All the students looked earnest in the classroom, but after the bell went home from school, a boisterous atmosphere enveloped the entire school. Characteristics of Coconut Shoot students are quite unique, every last day of the exam, all students gather in the field to together tear, burn, water, and water, or torture their exam numbers that will be cleaned by school cleaning workers who have previously been given extra money from each class. Afterwards, they will sing and dance together by turning on the music through the school speakers. Although unique and has no benefits, apparently this tradition has survived for dozens of years until now. This event seems powerful enough to remove stress for a stressful week. Plus, this is done together by all students which will certainly add excitement and strengthen family.
Kiran was still working on her test paper as Roka unceasingly whispered calling her name from the window. His friend was impatient to go to the field, in addition to tearing the test paper, Roka also routinely shouted in the field, venting all the fatigue and pressure he felt during the week of the exam. No shame, no doubt. Everything is mixed into one to vent all the stress and burdens they experience.
Kiran picked up her bag after collecting the exam sheet, then walked out to Roka who was impatient to run to the field, "Hunter!" Roka exclaimed as Kiran deliberately slowed her pace.
"Why are you so excited?" Kiran shook her head slowly seeing Roka's enthusiasm.
"Not seen lo. Lookout!" Roka pointed at a girl who was standing alone on the sidelines.
The girl stood her back to Kiran and Roka, hesitating to join the field. Although the event has not yet begun, it seems that many students have gathered. Unknowingly Kiran started to step on her feet, she knew very well who the girl was.
"Chandana, what else?" Kiran stopped her steps, spelling out Chandana who seemed very surprised by her presence.
