Interval 2 - Naya (1)

Rain spots that cannot be said to be heavy are still flushing a number of areas with a constant quantity. There is no exception to the residential area where Naya and her small family live.

Now Naya is engrossed in playing basketball on a complex sports court that is only thirty meters from her home. Although the drizzle still flushed, even though the clothes he was wearing had almost completely wet, Naya still did not have the slightest intention to stop playing.

Naya still continues and continues to run around the field, dribbling the ball in his hand with power that is not playing, then biting slowly his lower lip when with full strength he shot, shooting, but the shot just missed again.

Again, Naya sighed in annoyance. His chest rose and fell between anger and fatigue. He remained silent and stood for a long time until he finally decided to sit down and slap his legs with an expression that slowly began to soften.

That afternoon, he just sat and pondered under the rain. No longer knowing how to deal with all the pain in his heart because he realized how brengs*k people he liked so far. He did not think where less and wrong he had been all this time. Naya thinks by never grieving and fighting her relationship will still be fine, but Naya is wrong. He actually had to swallow the bitterness of being cheated by a lover who for 3 years was always together and accompanied him from the beginning of junior high school until graduation day arrived.

Naya rubbed her wet face with tears and rain. That day she was determined that she would never fall in love again. He hated all men, especially those who played with women's hearts. There is no other name for unfaithful people other than garbage.

With a feeling that was still not completely relieved, Naya walked back home. The first person he met after opening the fence was Rosa, his stepmother. The mother ran to flock after seeing Naya standing in front of the fence drenched in rainwater. His face that still looked fresh and young was covered with a worried expression because it had been waiting for his daughter to return.

Naya threw the ball in her hand and hugged Rosa tightly. Naya shed her tears once more, but this time with a very loud sobbing. He further tightened his embrace as the memory of the betrayal he received continued to spin around his head almost like a broken cassette. Naya was sobbing while her stepmother was busy calming down, unable to see this girl who was like her daughter crying as much as she could.

Rosa, who is now forty years old, has only been a close mother for Naya and her older brother for months. For Rosa, Naya is like her own daughter, the same goes for Naya's older brother. She has loved her new husband since they were young, but fate had not yet come together. Rosa and Rizal - Naya's father - must separate and forge a housewife with someone else.

A dozen years apart, Rosa again met with Rizal who was then alone because his wife had long died. Rosa herself had a son whom she loved dearly, but she did not love the father of her son in the least. A man with a hard and selfish character who has taken away all the happiness he has. Rosa decided to stay for a dozen years just because of her son, but almost a year ago she officially divorced her husband and now get a new family along with Rizal and her children.

Naya who grew up without the affection of a mother was so grateful for the presence of Rosa who was patient, kind, and understanding. Although initially frightened because stepmother was always described as a cruel and evil figure, now Naya really depends and loves Rosa like her own biological mother.

After that painful day, Naya kept living as she should. And most importantly, Naya fulfilled the determination she had said to herself at that time, namely by never falling in love again, especially in land crocodile men who like to spread sweet words and promises.

Naya officially entered and studied at one of the best schools in the entire country which happened to be located in his city, Tunas Kelapa High School. Although notoriously strict and has a complicated method of selecting new students, Naya was eventually accepted into Tunas Kelapa High School because of her sporting achievements.

With a strong determination to transform into a new figure, Naya begins her days as a high school student with significant changes.

During Junior High, Naya is famous as a girl who is feminine and cheerful even though she is joined in the basketball team. Naya is friends with many men and is liked by many of them because of her sweet, outspoken, and cheerful attitude. But since Naya High School changed its appearance almost 180 degrees. He always tied his hair, folded the ends of his uniform arms, and wore a black bracelet to make it look tomboyish. Naya almost always wears jeans and t-shirts rather than shirts, outs, or other feminine clothes when traveling everywhere.

In addition to the change in appearance, Naya also changed a little attitude and how to speak to the opposite sex. He was no longer friendly and cheerful but rather ketus so that the men were afraid of him. And it is true that this method is powerful and effective. Almost all men who like Naya immediately give up before they can express their feelings because of the attitude of ketus and cynicism given by Naya on every occasion.

All went perfectly when one afternoon, Naya found a male figure who looks pretentious handsome, laughs a lot, and likes to tease women. Naya grieves annoyed when observing the man's gait while teasing some of his basketball colleagues. Naya was even more upset to see the reaction of the women, how could they look excited and misbehaved when clearly being seduced by a crocodile?

Naya rolled her eyeballs with a puff, then went towards her comrades to pick up the drink that was inside the bag.

Upon his arrival, regardless of the clumsy girls who were still busy eating seduction, Naya took a bottle from her bag. With a single gulp, he had drained nearly a quarter of the contents of the bottle so thirsty. The man who had been blacklisted by the person he was going to make a friend was surprised to see Naya who so tightly and gracefully gulped down so much water at once. The man felt interested and curious after seeing Naya. Without thinking, in just a matter of seconds he said goodbye to the girls before him, then walked closer to Naya.

The man smiled - he almost laughed - "Hope Ma'am?" she said with a tone that sounded very silly in Naya's ears.

Without any intention of paying attention to the man, Naya turned her body and walked away.

The man raised his eyebrows, a little surprised because this was the first time he met a girl who ignored him. Still not wanting to give up, he walked and lined up Naya's footsteps, "Just this time I saw a girl drinking one sip straight abis se-liter," he teased.

Naya rolled her eyeballs then stopped stepping, she turned her head to look at the selfless man who was now walking next to her, "Gue would rather digest two gallons of water than lo sling. Far away, your face is not my type," Naya again continued her steps.

The man laughed lightly, he shook his head slowly while continuing to follow Naya, "Sorry but do I look like rich again want to sleep?"

Naya bit the wall of her mouth, it felt like she wanted to kick the man with all her might but of course she could not. With a sigh, Naya turned back to look at the man, "OK. Now I ask what?"

The man was silent for a moment, he scratched his nape with the eyeballs busy moving around, apparently he was still confused by the goal. Naya stared lazily while shaking her waist waiting for this man to answer his question, impatient to give a silat kick if only this man said he wanted to make Naya a lover or something.

The lazy gaze and the pangs that had previously been clearly plastered on Naya's face gradually subsided along with the heavy sighs that were spewing through her thin lips. Slowly, he hissed, "Gue is more mending the same monkey than the same lo. Don't follow me again!" Naya walked quickly away from the man who claimed to be named Roka.

With a gaping mouth, Roka shook her head in disbelief, "Yes a monkey is better than me? Not really a child."

That's how Naya's destiny with this strange and unfriendly figure began. This annoying and ludicrous first meeting did not make Roka give up on getting close to Naya. Although Naya tries desperately to avoid Roka, there are always things that make her have to get involved with the man. If only Naya did not like basketball very much, it is certain that she will step back and look for other activities that do not require her to fight with a rather handsome figure that is very strange and annoying.

Dozens or even hundreds of times Roka makes Naya angry because of her ridiculous behavior but sometimes Roka also surprised Naya with unique and good things about her. One of them is when their school attended a basketball tournament between provinces. It was the first tournament that Tunas Kelapa High School basketball team attended after Naya and all her class students joined the team - at that time Naya was still in the 10th grade. Therefore in this match they are not part of the squad that competes but officials who help take care of the equipment and needs of members who are members of the first team.

Of the many members of the basketball exkul, Naya really felt annoyed because the person who will work with her in handling consumption is Roka. The consumption division is divided into several parts, coincidentally Naya and Roka have a section to organize, buy, and bring consumption on match days.

With all the anxiety he felt, Naya stared at the confused menu in front of him. He felt confused what foods are suitable to be given to children later. While Naya was curled up in a dilemma, Roka who was sitting next to her seemed to be playing a straw in her mouth with focus.

Naya just glanced reluctantly, already used to her seeing Roka playing around like a fool.

"What is this Claw?" Roka pointed at one of the menus on the paper using a straw that had been switched from mouth to hand.

Naya sighed, "Don't joke! Can m*cret one team dong ah! It's so bad!"

Roka pursed her lips, "There's more to it than this."

"What?" Naya responded the second while continuing to flip through the sheets of paper in front of her.

"Mouth lo. Very spicy, is it a matah sambel cake?" Roka giggled after seeing Naya put on an annoyed expression.

Naya rolled up the papers to form an elongated tube, then hit it into Roka's body blindly, "Gue again dizzy, you are even engrossed in straws, ngerecokin I mulu, and so on, now everything is all. Go home and do not bother me if you do not want to help!" Naya shrieked at the end, making the few people sitting near their table stare in surprise.

Roka held her arm, she felt guilty, "Eat this alone, rice box. The packaging is easy to transport, it is so there are side dishes, vegetables, the same carbo right? Drink some mineral water. Later I said bokap I let the car can be packed to take the food," said Roka slowly, while glancing at Naya who has now returned to sitting in her seat calmly.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry. The intention is to let you not stress-stress is very that," Roka threw the straw that is not shaped into the trash can that is underneath.

Naya sighed softly. Roka was always playing around so much that she did not seem like someone who could think or take things seriously. But with this Naya felt knowing a little new from Roka, that it turned out that the man next to her could be quite serious and could think of a solution well. Although still Roka is late to convey it because Naya has been through a lot of time with dilemmas and confusion.

"Jude, if that's all. Why didn't you say daritadi anyway?" Naya glanced at Roka, feeling annoyed because this man was seen deliberately making her think hard before finally helping to provide a solution.

"Seru just squirming you're angry!" Roka smiled ignorantly.

"Emang kebangetan lo ya! What good is it to be scolded every day? That's how you want to get scolded by people?" Naya really doesn't understand anymore with Roka's way of thinking.

"Look, you think I'm a samsak, so everybody's target of anger. No, I just want to see you get angry," Roka flicked her shoulder.

Naya frowned, "Huh? Why that?"

"Lo is beautiful if you are angry again," Roka smiled knotfully, making Naya's blood again rustle with anger.

"It's a tissue if I sumpelin mouth loa mada who knows," Naya lifted the tissue box in front of her while Roka chuckled.

But all of these things are still the beginning of Naya's long journey, from the rollercoaster that will soon flip through her destiny and Roka's destiny.
