Time goes by so fast, it rolls like an unstoppable waterfall. For some people who spend their time doing various types of activities, the change of day will not be too pronounced. But not for Kiran.
Yesterday, the futsal team once again managed to win the match which at the same time led them to the semi-finals. One more step towards the final round and two steps before they can carve the name of Tunas Kelapa High School in the ranks of the winners of the national futsal tournament they are now participating in.
It's been two days since Chandana didn't get into school. Every minute and second Kiran spent staring at the screen of her phone, waiting for Chandana to reply to a call or a short message she sent because she was overwhelmed with worry. But until now there was no answer that Kiran received. No calls, no short messages.
Kiran is not a typical possessive and aggressive person. He did not bombard Chandana with dozens of calls or hundreds of short messages. He only once called Chandana and twice sent a message asking how he was doing. It's just that without a reply and response at all makes Kiran agitated and thoughtless so he unconsciously continues to check his phone almost every minute.
Roka who was now sitting next to Kiran could only look at her friend with pity. Naya who incidentally was good friends with Chandana also informed Roka if the girl really could not be contacted at all.
"Lo is pathetic you know. A day of plonga-plongo diang lo macem bum! Smile cake, greet the girls cake, treat me batagor cake. You have a lot of things to do. It's not like you're getting so melancholy like this!" Roka intended to comfort Kiran by igniting the anger of her best friend.
Kiran only glanced at Roka lazily while checking her phone once more, "Gue is just worried about the doang. If he's that bad, I'm saying I should do it. Wait for him, look at him, or what?" Kiran realized that this attitude of hers sounded childish, but if she was in Kiran's position, everyone would feel the same worry.
Roka admitted that Kiran's remarks did have a point. But he was not here to support Kiran's excitement, he was here to cheer his friend up and get excited.
"Let's go. He did not tell me, nor did he mean he was in pain, weak and weak while rolling in the sand. Once again he refreshed noh. Play duck-duck in the pool complex, or maybe again ngerokin his father? Who knows?" Roka tries to convince Kiran that not being patient does not mean Chandana is in a bad condition. It could be the opposite.
Kiran glanced at Roka, "Main duck-duck in the pool complex? You can swim in the fish pond" grumbled Kiran with a faint smile.
Seeing the faint smile engraved on Kiran's lips made Roka feel victorious, "Yes elo tuh driving the car in the slide!" exclaimed Roka, not to lose.
"Yee. You know, eating sandals in caosin!" Kiran chuckled as she pushed Roka's thigh with her thigh.
"Heh, you said I'm a termite!" Roka pushed Kiran to the point of almost toppling over.
The two throw jokes at each other, trying to entertain themselves as well as each other. Roka was grateful that Kiran already looked much better than before. Come to think of it, love is complicated. Sometimes it can bring good change, love and beauty. But sometimes it can also bring bad changes, blur the day and hurt someone.
Roka had witnessed both of them to Kiran. He witnesses how love turns Kiran into a positive person, a person who wants to get out of her comfort zone and the hole she never wanted to leave. Now Roka also witnesses how love makes Kiran tormented, making Kiran nervous and do not know what to do.
"Bodo ah, my back is sucked because of you!" Kiran got up from the stand in front of her class as her back hit a wooden pillar while joking with Roka.
Roka was still laughing as she looked at the figure of the girl who for these two days had worried them to death. Chandana walks quickly wearing an army-colored cardigan. Although the girl now wears a mask to cover her face, Roka can easily recognize the girl through the bag she is wearing and how to walk. Always looks graceful and meek no matter what she does, no one is wrong, the girl is indeed Chandana.
Kiran who saw Roka was silent while staring at something behind her also suddenly twisted her body, looking for something that is now being noticed by Roka, "What the hell is it?" asked Kiran who felt she did not see anything interesting as far as the eyes could see.
"Murray!" Roka screeched while pointing to the figure of the girl who was now walking through the small trees scattered around the field, the girl was heading to her class.
Seeing this makes Kiran feel happy not to play. After witnessing Chandana back in a good state, all the restlessness and worry that Kiran felt seemed to just disappear.
Roka who saw Kiran just stood petrified with a smile and sparkling eyes was powerless to hold back. With not too much energy, Roka pushed Kiran's back from behind, "Samperin dong anyink hunted on lalerin!"
Kiran gave a small laugh then ran after Chandana who was several tens of meters away from her.
"Hey. You okay?" kiran said while trying to line up Chandana's steps. His chest was heaving while his breathing was wheezing.
Chandana did not respond. He still walked with his head bowed without even a hint of rubbing Kiran.
Surprised, Kiran tries to stop Chandana by grabbing the girl's arm. However, a second after that Chandana quickly jerked her wrist away from Kiran. He looked up, looked at Kiran right in both eyes, then said softly from behind the mask that covered his lips and nose, "Don't ever talk to me again."
Kiran choked up while Chandana stepped back. For three seconds Kiran petrified on the spot, digesting what her ears had just heard. At the fourth second, he decided to go back after the girl, "What do you mean? What's the problem?" Kiran spoke with still walking, offsetting Chandana's quick pace.
Chandana did not answer. He continued walking as if he had heard nothing.
Kiran did not understand. He doesn't know what's going on, "Why are you? What's the matter? Chandana, you hear me? What's up?" Kiran tries to grab Chandana as the girl repeatedly shakes Kiran's hand. As if hating and reluctant the man touched her.
Kiran. He no longer tried to reach or touch Chandana, but he still continued to seek answers to Chandana's previous words. Feeling tired, Chandana stopped while looking up at her head, looking back at Kiran's eyes that looked teary.
"Is my word less clear? Away me. Don't ever come near me again. I don't want to be anywhere near you. I want you to go!" a tear escaped from Chandana's eye.
The girl's words felt like lightning striking in broad daylight. There was no wind, no rain, but a terrible lightning suddenly came and grabbed Kiran without mercy. Kiran's heart was as if it was in a squeeze. He doesn't know why. He does not understand how. But what he felt was pain, a very deep pain in his chest, in his heart.
Chandana smiles behind her mask, "You love me, then I have to love you too? No Kiran. If you love me, will you not accept my request? Celebrating my happiness? For that I am asking you to leave now. Don't ever come near me again! For the sake of my happiness, Kiran. For the sake of my happiness," Chandana threw away her face, her feet stepped back. Leaving behind Kiran who stood there with reddened eyes and and clear rounders that fell down one after another from her dimming manic.
Kiran could not feel anything. It seems like he can't hear anything. His legs felt limp because once again, something invisible felt pierced his chest firmly, smashing into his head mercilessly. He fell down and fell with his legs folded back.
"Roman.."
"Kira!" Roka screamed as she patted Kiran's expressionless face. Tears flooded that handsome face as if he had just been doused with heart.
Roka shook Kiran's body, "Lo why?" pekiknya, trying to make Kiran say something.
But Kiran could think of nothing. Everything feels empty. His mind, his heart, his life. Everything was suddenly white as if there was nothing left. At that moment, Kiran's breathing started to sting, she coughed softly. Starting from the ears that buzzed into the eyes that began to blur, until in the end he completely lost consciousness.
---
If the dream is a sleeping flower, then what Kiran gets this time is usually said to be a carcass flower, fart flower, or any flower that brings ugliness.
On a long path to his left right lay green grass, Kiran saw a girl sitting there hugging her knees. That girl is Chandana. Kiran could recognize him easily even though the Girl was sitting on her back.
With doubtful steps, Kiran stepped closer to the girl. Then, out of nowhere, appeared a boy whose face was covered in a dazzling light. The boy ran up to Chandana while reaching out, he preceded Kiran who was not even halfway.
Confused, Kiran looked at the two of them. The boy took Chandana running here and there, making the originally moody girl smile brightly and cheerfully. Kiran unconsciously smiled at him. Kiran flashed a knotty smile as she continued to approach them.
Not long after, a black shadow came from behind Kiran, carrying the boy away at an incredible speed. Left Kiran and Chandana who now seem to be sad again.
Kiran stepped up hesitantly to approach Chandana. He stood next to the girl. Noticing Kiran's presence, the girl looked up, a smile engraved on her thin lips.
Kiran smiled. Not so long ago, Kiran extended her hand. Chandana looked at Kiran's hand for a while before starting to move her hand, trying to reach Kiran. But alas, before their hands had clutched, the black shadow came back and took Chandana away.
Kiran panic. He called Chandana's name, he wanted the girl back.
"Mhandana?"
"Mhandana?"
"Murray!"
Kiran gasped until she woke up from her sleep. Roka and Edy stood next to Kiran with restless faces.
"Lo's okay?" Edy held onto the edge of the bed while looking at Kiran with a worried look. Two hours later the semi-final will be played. He was afraid Kiran could not strengthen their team.
Kiran shook her head slowly, her body was soaked in sweat while her breathing hunted down, "Gue is good. What time's the game?" ask Kiran. He was busy wiping the sweat on his face and neck.
"No! Are you sure you want to follow suit? You are not healthy anymore!" Roka interrupted. He did not agree to Kiran competing today.
"It's okay. I'm just tired," Kiran tried to persuade Roka. The memories of what happened a while ago came back, filling his entire mind.
"Lo's sure?" Roka tried to make sure once again. Although he did not know what happened before to make Kiran fall unconscious, for sure Roka would not let Kiran force herself which would come by hurting herself.
Kiran nodded confidently. He could not just stay in one place because Kiran realized that by doing nothing she would think more and more about the things that had happened. For people who are quite overthinking like Kiran, increasing busyness is one of the best solutions to prevent the arrival of negative thoughts.
Edy patted Kiran on the shoulder in relief. If Kiran missed the game, Edy is not sure his team can win. Especially if you look at the opponents they will face later.
"Yaudah, let's go to the exculpation room. Take your uniform. We'll hang out for a while" Edy takes Kiran to the futsal team room. They need to talk about some things related to the match today.
Kiran nodded as she waved the uks blanket wrapped around her legs, "Gue first. You don't have to worry too much" Kiran said, trying to convince Roka once again.
"OK," Roka had no choice but to agree to Kiran's request.
Now he can only pray that nothing bad happens. In addition, Roka will also look forward to an explanation from Kiran about the reason that made her fall this morning. This time Roka won't leave Kiran alone, won't.
