Chandanas

Chandanas
Section 26

"Kirannnnn!" Roka banged on Kiran's room door impatiently.

"Yes-yes, just a moment," Kiran exclaimed from inside her room.

Roka moved anxiously waiting for this crazy door before her to open.

"Isn't it really noisy?" Kiran snorted in annoyance just after the door of her room opened.

"Mother where? Why is the maid open? Since when is there a maid here?" Roka bombarded Kiran with all the questions she had in mind.

Tomorrow is the day they will go to the top to hold outbound activities. Having enough luggage, Kiran decides to take the car as a vehicle that will take her to school tomorrow. Roka who knows this also rushed to Kiran's house, intending to nebeng because the next day her father could not drive Roka.

Question after question began to pop into Roka's mind as she saw a middle-aged woman claiming to be Kiran's new maid open the door. At one time, since the incident that hit Arda, both Kiran's parents agreed not to accommodate a permanent maid to stay in their home. The confusion grew after entering the house and could not find Arda and Kiran's mother anywhere.

Kiran sighed. It was inevitable that he had to tell Roka everything, "Get in there first."

Kiran cleaned up the suitcase and small backpack that she would later carry. While Roka was cross-legged on the mattress after throwing her luggage into any place.

Kiran's house was huge and magnificent. Maybe two or three times larger than Roka's house which is honestly already in the luxury category. Kiran's room also stretches wide with a wide balcony accompanied by a small gazebo. Even a king-size mattress that Kiran uses every night to sleep feels not too big when compared to the area of her room. A complete computer set is next to a glass window that shows the balcony of his room. Kiran also has three large shelves containing thick books that hurt Roka's eyes every time she saw them. The road to the bathroom is also equipped with a clothes closet that is not playful in size. For Roka, Kiran is the only wealthy person who is stupid enough to still use an obsolete Chinese phone.

Roka lingered at Kiran's house because everything she needed was there. Although in her own house Roka also has all the objects and luxury items she needs, but in Kiran's place there is a family warmth that Roka never found in her home. Even when his mother was still there, a sense of kinship he never felt in that place.

And now, where did everyone go? The warm family that has loved him like a part of them? Where's everybody?

Kiran sat down next to Roka, she told him everything while still sorting and choosing the right words so as not to make Roka feel worried.

"So far there has been no danger whatsoever. But this is just a preventive action from my Bokap so that later if things happen that are not desired, all have been prepared. Don't worry. Every weekend they come here, or I go there. You can follow if you want," Kiran tried to plant Roka who looked very surprised and panicked.

"Pantesan satpam house you add two seeds to each other the fathers of glasses item mantengin cctv front of the house until sleeping so." Roka still tried to look calm even though she was actually very worried. He knew how dangerous the criminals were.

"Gue used to live here. I can sleep in Arda's room or in the kitchen if you bother me that sometimes melodious. I don't want to see you alone here. But I definitely know if I want to stay here for a while. Can't you? I promise you're gonna take it and be noisy!" Continue Roka, volunteering or maybe more precisely forcing yourself.

"My mom said that too. If you want to stay here first you can. Nginep doang a few days straight home the hose alternates can also be. Whatever you do, besides this house is also already your own home cake considering what is going on," Kiran glanced at Roka's position as a pleasant guest lying on his back on the mattress while he The Host actually sat on the edge of the mattress.

Roka laughed realizing how polite he was. That night the two shared stories about many things. About the fact that tomorrow they will be staying together with Naya, Chandana, and even Ratih, about Roka who is getting interested in Naya emotionally, about Kiran who has now started to talk nonformally with Chandana, also about other things that are only understood by themselves.

The long night ended when Roka fell asleep after they watched a superhero movie. Kiran cleaned up the trash of snacks and drinks in her room, turned on the vacuum cleaner to transport food crumbs from the furry carpet next to her bed, then lay down to sleep and wait for tomorrow.

---

Dozens of giant-sized buses lined up neatly on the basketball court of Tunas Kelapa High School. Some will transport 12th grade students while others will transport 11th grade students. They are not charged for this activity because all have been combined with the cost of re-listing every beginning of the school year. Even so, the fact that Tunas Kelapa High School is a school for children of rich people is undeniable. Top-class facilities and unique and effective learning methods make Tunas Kelapa High School a flagship school that is glimpsed by entrepreneurs, officials, and people who money to send their children to school. Although there are still some scholarship children, this school has never opened the identity of anyone who receives a scholarship so that there is no gap between students.

The originally deserted basketball court is now getting crowded by students and students who are starting to arrive. Almost all of them wear classy clothes but still casual, showing the value of beautiful fashion but still adjust the place and age. Several luxury cars were seen passing by, some parents delivered their children and then left them after making sure all the luggage of the baby had entered the trunk. Not a few are loyal to wait until the time comes for their departure.

Chandana got out of the car quietly. He lifted his suitcase with the help of a driver and told the driver to return home without waiting for him to leave. Of the many clothing choices, Chandana anchors her choice on denim jeans and army green plain shirts that are each end inserted into jeans, and jeans, she had a simple belt around her pants that she was wearing. To be honest, Chandana wants to be able to sleep on the bus later by wearing only a sweater and trousers, but Naya prevents her and tells Chandana to pay attention to her appearance at their departure this time.

When Chandana questions her reasoning, Naya twists and ends up with Chandana's unanswered question. The reason Naya is actually easy, he wants people to take Chandana more into account. Her friend is liked by many men because of her innocence, calmness, and of course beauty, but in the eyes of female students, Chandana is considered innocent and quiet pretentious even though that is the reality. Now Naya wants to highlight the feminine side of Chandana by making her look stylist even though she is actually beautiful regardless of what is worn. Naya just wants to stuff the mouths of people with different looks than Chandana, and sure enough, her hypocritical classmates are now flabbergasted even just by seeing Chandana wearing a shirt and jeans.

Naya smiled triumphantly as she waved her hand at Chandana. The girl was carrying a light blue suitcase with a small shoulder bag. Naya pinched her hair as usual wearing a baseball cap.

"Old old?" Naya wiped the sweat off her forehead then sat on the edge of the field.

Chandana put her suitcase in a standing position then sat down next to Naya. "Not too long."

Naya nodded then smiled enthusiastically, "You don't. Our class is a group of Kiran and Roka's."

Chandana. His face remained calm yet both his eyes were emitting a twinkle of happiness. Naya knew that even just by looking at Chandana.

"We're a lot of friends." Chandana answered.

Naya shook her head slowly with a deep smile, she knew Chandana was happy but she didn't want to talk about it and made Chandana feel ashamed of it.

Roka and Kiran walked in tandem. Some eyes were on them. Both look perfect in uniform, but with casual clothes both emit an aura of good looks that can not be contained by anyone, even by Naya with all her prestige and Chandana with all her calmness.

Roka scowled as her eyes met with Naya. He hurriedly approached the girl, leaving Kiran who was walking very freely because she was still busy visiting people home to bring back her car. Of course Kiran couldn't have left that thing here for 4 days.

"Wow pretty-beautiful lo on. Ready to party?" Roka hit the tip of Naya's hat which suddenly made the girl growled with annoyance.

"The parties of your head! Not to mention the forest mosquitoes!" Naya took off her hat, wiping away the sweat that filled her forehead and the sides of her face.

Chandana only smiled faintly seeing Naya and Roka's light quarrel. For a moment he played his fingers, then stole a glance at Kiran who was still focused on watching her phone without realizing how many eyes were now watching her while whispering with people on their left and right. Chandana sighed softly then circulated her gaze, trying to figure out something that might be more interesting than Kiran.

"Hi," Kiran put down her suitcase and sat down to keep three or forties of Chandana.

In shock, Chandana looked over. Kiran was already sitting next to him, looking at him with a warm gaze, waiting for him to answer the greeting that Kiran had just said.

"Hi." replied Chandana in the end.

Successfully getting what he was waiting for, Kiran refocused on her phone. This apparently raises a little curiosity in Chandana's heart. Several times he intended to ask questions about who Kiran was trying to contact, but Chandana always abandoned her intentions and cast a glance toward Roka and Naya who were still fussing on their own.

Kiran put her phone in her pocket when Chandana happened to be watching her. Although the girl did not ask, Kiran took the initiative to tell Chandana who she was busy contacting. "I asked the clerk at home to get the car but the young man fell asleep."

Chandana smiled faintly. "Now you're awake?"

"About. Now get over here." Kiran smiled as she looked at the clothes Chandana was wearing.

Kiran. The weather this morning was quite cloudy with misty air. Kiran even covered her sweater with a jacket because of the cold air that felt through the bones. Looking at the beautiful Chandana with her shirt made Kiran think, isn't the girl cold?

"Aren't you cold?" Kiran watched Chandana sitting cross-legged while playing her fingers.

"Not too," Chandana turned her head then smiled faintly, trying to convince Kiran.

Kiran did not seem quite satisfied with Chandana's answer. He rummaged through his backpack then took out some candy wrappers and stretched them out to the girl.

Chandana looked at Kiran's helping hand in surprise, "What's this?"

"It's ginger candy. So you're warm."

Chandana took one candy from Kiran, made the man thrust his hand once more, "Take it all. I have a lot."

"Thank you."

Carefully, Chandana unwrapped the candy and put it in her mouth. "Nob." Chandana smile.

"That's right. If you want to say it. I have a lot."

Chandana glanced here and there, trying to find a trash can to take out her candy trash. A moment later Kiran extended an empty hand. Chandana frowned, not understanding.

"Junk." Kiran told her the point.

Doubtfully, Chandana placed her empty candy wrapper on Kiran's palm. The man hurried to put it in his jacket pocket and then looked back at Chandana, "Have you ever been in this kayak activity?"

Chandana shook her head slowly, still chewing the candy Kiran gave her.

"I'm not either. It seems like there are so many things that we never do, so almost everything is the first time. Why have I lived my whole life." Kiran smiled as she found Chandana agreeing to her sentence.

Silence enveloped both. More than anything, Kiran's last sentence sounded like an allusion to herself. He looked at his words and thought about all the things he had been through. Not much in his life. Perhaps many, but all were forgotten by the two terrible events that had befallen him. Kiran did not have enough room to recall happy memories as her head and heart were filled with bitter and painful memories.

Without Kiran knowing, it was not only her who thought so. The girl who was now sitting next to him, whom he valued and cared for more than anyone - other than his mother - also had memories and difficulties that were no less bitter than his. Until then they have not understood each other and understood each other's difficulties. Not yet knowing how cruel the bitter destiny that would later bind them, even threatening this beautiful short togetherness.
