Chapter 9

After several hours of fainting Ha Ru began to realize, Young Joon who accompanied her beside Ha Ru also woke up because of Ha Ru's moaning voice. Ha Ru held her head which was still in pain.

“Are you okay?” young Joon asked worriedly.

“I'm fine. What happened?” asked Ha Ru who was still lying on Young Min's bed.

“You just suddenly fainted. You certain? Are we in the hospital?” tawang Young Joon's.

“I'm fine” replied Ha Ru who was about to get off her bed.

“You just rest first” said Young Joon who tried to hold Ha Ru to keep resting.

“No, we have to find something” Ha Ru said as she began to look for another clue in Young Min's room.

Young Joon was also looking for clues, while looking for Young Joon saw a box above the closet in Young Min's room. He took the box and unpacked the contents inside. It was then that he found a notebook that he then opened. He read what was in the book and was surprised how the book contained the identity of the victims of serial murders where the victim also had the same scarf as the case he was handling.

“Ha Ru, look at this” Young Joon said as he pointed out the note he read to Ha Ru.

Ha Ru also felt surprised by what she read, everything was exactly the same as what happened in Seoul from the cause of her death, the way it was discarded, the blue scarves were all the same. They also found the murder files, but all the murders were not serial murders but just regular murders. After finding evidence they ask Young Min's mother for permission to bring the box and explain that they need the box to catch the killer they're looking for.

"Are you okay? why not stay here first and go home tomorrow" said Young Min's mother who worried about Ha Ru.

"I'm fine anyway I want to catch the perpetrator as soon as possible" Ha Ru replied.

Ha Ru's determination Young Min's mother couldn't do anything and allowed them to return to Seoul that very night. After bidding farewell to Young Min's mother they immediately went to bring the box to Seoul.

After a few hours they reached Seoul at midnight which made them unable to return to the office.

“How about we go to my house?” bargain Young Joon because they feel suspicious of Won.

“My house is very safe there is only me and my sister”, Young Joon continued, who saw Ha Ru looked doubtful.

“Alright” Ha Ru replied because there was no other choice but to go to Young Joon's house.

While at the police station the captain searched for the whereabouts of Young Joon and Ha Ru because they were not in the office all day. Especially after receiving a report from Kwang Min that could have been their clue to arrest the perpetrator.

"Why can't they call all day?" byung Jun.

"I don't know either, and what about the bank?" ask Kwang Min.

"He got money from the foundation that sponsored him and there was nothing suspicious because the money was the payment for the painting they bought from Yu Chan" Byung Jun explained.

"So the only clue there is is only from senior Kwang Min" said Min Ki.

The captain who did not want to lose the suspect immediately told Kwang Min to arrest Lee Won who is a doctor from Ga Young. Kwang Min along with the other police members immediately left for Manwon hospital.

“Who will we catch?” ask Min Ki.

“A psychiatrist at Manwon Hospital named Lee Won, here is his picture” replied Kwang Min while showing a photo of Lee Won.

“Isn't this the girlfriend of Lieutenant Ha Ru” Min Ki said upon seeing the photo.

“Really?” ask Kwang Min not to believe it.

“True, look at him so handsome I can't be wrong” Min Ki replied.

“Has name seems familiar to me” replied Kwang Min.

“Don't we have to tell lieutenant Ha Ru about this” Hoon said.

“We should keep it a secret from him until everything is clear especially we can not contact Ha Ru” Kwang Min order.

At the same time Ha Ru and Young Joon arrive at Young Joon's house. Young Joon held up a cardboard box containing files about the murder. Young Joon asks Ha Ru to emphasize the doorbell of his house because his hand is holding the cardboard. After Ha Ru pressed the doorbell of Young Joon's house shortly after Young Joon's younger sister opened the door. Young Ah Young Joon's younger sister looks a little surprised to see Ha Ru because she doesn't usually bring her sister home.

“Are you my sister's boyfriend? My sister never brought a woman into this house" Young Ah asked Ha Ru who had just sat down.

“Yaaaa, do not talk carelessly, there quickly enter and learn. This time you have to pass the civil service exam” Young Joon said as he pushed Young Ah into his room and closed the door of his room.

“I'm sorry my sister ya” Young Joon told Ha Ru.

“No problem” replied Ha Ru.

“Do you want to drink something? Beer?” tawang Young Joon's.

Ha Ru nodded in agreement, Young Joon picked up the beer in his fridge and gave it to Ha Ru. While giving the beer to Ha Ru, Young Joon sees the phone he put on the table on, he gets a call from the captain.

Where have you been? I called you repeatedly.

Young Joon's

Sorry I have important business, this is also part of the task. What's the matter, captain?

Byung Jun's

Never mind, now the most important thing is that you should come here immediately. Kwang Min found the culprit.

Young Joon's

Did ya? All right, I'll be there now.

After closing his phone Young Joon tells Ha Ru that the perpetrator of the murder has been caught, they rush to the police station to meet the perpetrator and leave the files they brought at Young Joon's house.

At Manwon Hospital, Kwang Min went to the lobby and asked where Lee Won was and they told him where Lee Won was in his room. Kwang Min and the other police rushed to Lee Won's room. At that time Lee Won was working in front of his computer and suddenly Kwang Min broke in.

“Lee Won you're under arrest for murder. You have the right to remain silent. Whatever you say can be used against you in justice. You have the right to be accompanied by a lawyer. Catch her!” kwang Min's orders to Hoon and Min Ki.

Following Kwang Min's orders, Hoon handcuffs Lee Won's hand. Lee Won just kept silent not fighting at all, as he knew this would happen. They also took Lee Won to the police station to be questioned. Arriving at the police station they took Lee Won into the investigation room and Kwang Min who was in charge of interrogating Lee Won.

“Do you know this woman?” ask Kwang Min while showing Park Ga Young's photo.

“Yes, I know. He is my patient” replied Lee Won casually.

“Do you know that he died of murder?” ask Kwang Min again.

“Yes, I know it” replied Lee Won.

“Did you kill him?” ask Kwang Min again.

“No I didn't do it. He was just one of my patients that I treated” Lee Won replied.

“Yes, you killed him, do not dodge again” shouted Kwang Min to follow Lee Won.

“Detective, I said I didn't do it. And again do you have any proof that I killed him?” lee Won asked Kwang Min.

"Then how can two people related to you die in the same way. Nam Jisu one of the nurses in your hospital also died" explained Kwang Min.

"If you say that, everyone who is in Manwon hospital will be a suspect because they also know the two victims" Won said.

The speechless Kwang Min looks angry because he has no evidence to prove Lee Won is the killer and also he feels Won is smarter than him who is a police officer. Kwang Min leaves the investigation room, when he comes out he meets Ha Ru and Young Joon just arrived at the police station.

“Who did it?” young Joon asks who saw Kwang Min and the rest of the team in front of the interrogation room.

“Ummmm... actually” said Min Ki who was nervous because there was Ha Ru

“Who did it?” ha Ru asked because they didn't answer Young Joon's question.

“Don't be surprised lieutenant, the culprit is Lee Won psychiatrist doctor from Manwon” hospital Hoon replied.

“Lee Won? The Lee Won I know?” ha Ru asked in disbelief at what she heard.

“That's true, but that jerk is very clever” said Kwang Min who looked very upset.

"Is there any solid evidence that Won did it?" ask Young Joon.

"For the time being there is no solid evidence so we should release it immediately. But Kwang Min is very sure that he is the culprit. Actually we are not sure if he did it" explained Hoon who expressed his personal opinion.

"What do we have now?" ask Young Joon.

"Just the fact that Nama Jisu and Ga Young have been to Manwon hospital" said Min Ki.

"What about the other victims?" ask Young Joon.

"We are not sure about the other victims because the captain wants to arrest him immediately" Hoon replied.

Ha Ru just fell silent without saying anything when they talked about Won, she felt like she was feeling de javu. Suddenly Ha Ru's head ached and her memory slowly began to return.
