Chapter 70 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
"How can I trust what you said after what you did to me" said Young Min, who appeared to be distrustful of Jae Hee's words.
"I'm serious this time. If you don't believe you can find out the truth. I'll give you information about those missing people. Before I had investigated those people and they were completely lost with no trace at all" said Jae Hee who looked scared.
"Give me a list of those people and after that I investigate them. If you lie again I will add to your sentence" Young Min explained.
Young Min then gives a piece of paper and pen to Jae Hee and Jae Hee starts writing down the names of the people who were once the mistress of Dong Mi. After he finished writing down the names Jae Hee held Young Min's hand.
"I don't know their address but most of them are from the Moon club. If you go there they will help you answer your questions" Jae Hee explained.
"Please hide me. I'm sure that woman will try to kill me" Jae Hee asked Young Min.
"Alright I'll have someone take care of you so you don't have to worry" Young Min replied.
"Thank you" Jae Hee replied.
Young Min exited the investigation room and began giving the list to his colleagues to investigate. They immediately moved and headed to the club that Jae Hee had written about. Man Ho and Eun Ho go to Moon club and Kyung Min goes to Umb club.
Man Ho and Eun Ho break into a different club than the usual club. With a small room and located in an area that is not filled with residents. They wonder how this nightclub can go. When they entered, they only saw two people sitting behind the bar table.
"Sorry we haven't opened yet" said one of the staff who was seen cleaning the bar table.
"Good day, we're looking for Kim Young Hoon" said Man Ho, standing a short distance from the bar table.
Hearing the name Kim Young Hoon they immediately stopped doing their activities.
"What do you need to find Kim Young Hoon?" ask the staff who asked them.
"I got a report that Kim Young Hoon is missing and now we're looking into his whereabouts" Man Ho said.
"You who?" ask one of the staff again.
"I'm a police officer" Man Ho said, showing his identification as a police officer.
"Why are you here now? We reported Young Hoon missing a few months ago" explained one of the staff who answered questions from Man Ho and Eun Ho.
"What do you mean? You ever report about Young Hoon's disappearance? " ask Man Ho.
"I have reported it to the police who come here often and he said he had tried to find Young Hoon but could not find Young Hoon's whereabouts and said that Young Hoon just ran away from home because he's grown up" the staff member said angrily to police.
"We didn't receive such a report and it wasn't in our database" Man Ho said.
"So you're accusing the feet of lying?" the staff replied angrily.
"Can you guys clear yet another chronology of Young Hoon's disappearance? This time we'll make sure we find Young Hoon" Man Ho promises to find Young Hoon.
"At that time we suddenly had a different customer than the people who came here. From his looks he looks like he is no ordinary person. And our boss was very happy when the lady arrived. He's been here a few times and that's when he's interested in Young Hoon. Young Hoon began to become a mistress of the woman and her economy was well-mannered. We suggested that he report to the police and after he reported what he saw, he suddenly stopped coming here and just disappeared" said one of the staff members at length.
"Is the woman who came yesterday this woman?" man Ho asked while showing Dong Mi's photo.
"True, it was this woman who came to our club and became a customer of Young Hoon" the staff replied.
All the nightclubs they went to, they got the same answer, they also got evidence that Dong Mi had been with the missing victims. Young Min goes straight to Jae Hee in the investigation room.
"Do you have any other evidence?" young Min asks Jae Hee.
"If I had any other evidence what would I get from you?" jae Hee asks who tried to make a deal with Young Min.
"Have you just made a deal with a cop?" asked Young Min who did not believe what she heard.
"I also have to get something because it provides very valuable information. Information that is like my own life" Jae Hee explained.
"alright. What do you want?" ask Young Min.
"I won't ask you to release me but I want you to guarantee my safety and also the reduction of my prison term" Jae Hee explained to her.
"All right" replied Young Min.
Hearing Young Min's reply, Man Ho who was in the next room was in disbelief and tried to enter the investigation room but was stopped by Jang Man.
"But I can't let him do that. This is something illegal, we cannot help a criminal" explained Man Ho who was upset.
"Trust Young Min, I'm sure he has other plans" Jang Man replied.
Meanwhile Jae Hee asks for bail so that Young Min does not break her promise.
"Do I have to record it?" young Min asks Jae Hee.
"Actually I prefer the black agreement over the white but because I know that you'll be in trouble if someone else sees our agreement so your voice recording is enough" obviously Jae Hee.
"I didn't expect any criminal to pity me and think about me. I'm so moved" Young Min said to Jae Hee.
Young Min records her own voice as a guarantee that she will not betray Jae Hee. After that Jae Hee tells about the existence of the evidence she has obtained to Young Min. Hearing Jae Hee's explanation, Young Min and the others immediately move to Jae Hee's house to find the evidence she means.
