The Bloody Scarf
Chapter 49 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
"Where is the food for the mother?" sung Jae asked Ha Na.
"Wait a minute" Ha Na said as she prepared a different meal.
Sung Jae immediately brought the food to his mother's room.
"Have you ever met their mother?" asked the curious Ha Ru.
"Ear once or twice. Their mother is very ill so she can only stay in the room and Sung Jae takes care of her mother alone" Ha Na explained.
The longer Ha Ru's content gets bigger and after a DNA test that states that the baby in Ha Ru's womb is Won's child, Won becomes more and more care for Ha Ru. Although Ha Ru has lived there for months but she has not met Won's mother so that makes Ha Ru curious. When Won and Sung Jae went outside Ha Ru who was curious about Won's mother ventured into the room. Upon seeing their mother Ha Ru looked very surprised as they tied their own mother. Ha Ru approaches Won's mother and opens the cloth covering her mother's mouth.
"Are you okay?" ask Ha Ru
"Be careful, my son is not an ordinary man. You have to get out of here and don't end up like me" Won's mother said.
As Ha Ru wanted to speak more she heard the sound of footsteps and quickly returned the mouthpiece again.
"I'll save you. Wait a little while longer" Ha Ru said then went out and quickly closed the door of the room.
"What are you doing in front of mom's room?" asked Ha Na who had just come down from above.
"I heard something from here but maybe I heard it wrong. I'll go back to my room first" Ha Ru replied and then went inside her room.
"Are they crazy? How can they tie their own mother" Ha Ru told herself in the room.
Although Ha Ru feels very happy living with Won but she can still use her common sense. Unlike Ha Na who had already lost her senses, Ha Ru could still discern the good and the right and what Won and Sung Jae did was a crime.
Meanwhile, Won and Sung Jae go to town to meet Won's father. After a visit Won and Sung Jae make the next day Won's father dies and leaves all the inheritance for Won. Won's stepmother did not accept the decision and accused Won of killing her husband.
Won's father, who is a police officer, made him respected by many people. Jang Man and his team members went all the way to Seoul to give their grief. While they were there, they were surprised that Won was standing among the family.
After the funeral is over Won and Won's stepmother return to her father's house with a lawyer in charge of Won's father's will. When hearing the contents of the will, Won's stepmother seemed angry because she didn't get anything.
"I know you killed your own father" Won's stepmother told her at her father's house after her father's funeral was over.
"What did you say? My father was sick and it was natural that he died. I was suspicious of you, because you were the one who was always with my father" Won explained, accusing her of turning up her stepmother.
"Are you accusing me of being a murderer? Crazyhead" Won's stepmother replied angrily.
"I'm sure you must have wanted my father's property so you killed him. And now you're angry because you couldn't get my father's treasure" Won told his stepmother.
"Are you crazy? Do you have any evidence?" ask stepmother Won.
"Evidence? if that's not to ask me, you can ask the police later" Won replied
"I will give you 1 week and you have to leave this house because now this house belongs to me" Won explained and left the house.
Won's stepmother also felt uneasy because it turned out that she had killed her husband. She feels upset at losing the child she loves so much that she takes revenge on Won's father.
Shortly after Won leaves, Won's stepmother is arrested on charges of premeditated murder. Won was satisfied because he did not have to bother to get rid of them.
"I miss our project. Do we have to do it again in the near future" Won said with a smile as he was in the car with Sung Jae.
"I agree" Sung Jae replied.
While Ha Ru felt like she was being watched by Ha Na at home.
"Ha Na, where are your parents?" ask Ha Ru.
"I don't know but Sung Jae said I no longer have a morning family and my only family is Sung Jae" Ha Na explained.
Ha Ru starts to get suspicious because Ha Na always says "sung Jae said" which means the memory in her mind based on what Sung Jae said.
"Do you have a cell phone? " ask Ha Ru to Ha Na.
"No, I'm not allowed to use a cell phone" Ha Na explained.
Ha Ru is eager to tell Young Min about Ha Na and Mother Won but she does not have any communication tools and also she cannot leave due to her growing belly.
Meanwhile, Won and Sung Jae go to a nightclub and look for prey to kill. As Won and Sung Jae are enjoying their drinks his handsome face attracts many girls but they reject all the girls. Then a girl who fit their criteria came and approached them.
"May I join you?" ask a woman named Se Na.
"Of course" Won said allowing Se Na to join.
"Did you come alone?" ask Won to Se Na.
"Yes. Then are you two alone?" ask Se Na.
"Yes. Isn't it noisy in here?" ask Sung Jae.
"Do you want to go somewhere else?" take Win to Se Na.
"Alright" replied Sena.
"Then I'll get the car first" Won said, leaving Sung Jae and Se Na alone.
Sung Jae and Se Na go out together and when Won comes they get into the car.
"I have something for you. You see the box next to you. It's a gift for you" Won said.
"Gift for me?" reply Se Na while opening the box that contains a blue scarf.
"That's pretty. Is this really for me?" ask the unbelieving Se Na when she was gifted by the person who had just met her.
"of course. And if you're thirsty you can drink, drink there" Won added.
Without hesitation Se Na also drank the drink in Won's car. While Won and Sung Jae watch Se Na from the rearview mirror. After Se Na drank the drink, they stopped watching Se Na.
"But where are we going?" ask Se Na.
"We're going to a very beautiful place and I'm sure you'll like it" Won explained.
"Why do I feel so sleepy?" said Se Na.
"You can sleep and I will build you when we arrive" Won said.
Se Na falls asleep in Won's car.
