The Bloody Scarf
Chapter 38 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
"Are you looking for this?" jong Hyun asked as he held the evidence he took.
"Where do you know?" asked Yo Han who looked confused.
"Do you think you can fool me?" said Jong Hyun who walked over to Yo Han.
Unknowingly Yo Han stayed away from Jong Hyun out of fear.
"Are you eavesdropping on my conversation?" ask Yo Han.
"If I hadn't done it, I wouldn't have known if you'd tried to stab me in the back. Why are you doing all this?" jong Hyun asked as he continued walking closer to Yo Han until finally Yo Han could not avoid Jong Hyun.
"Don't come any closer" said Yo Han.
Jong Hyun ignored Yo Han's words and instead clasped Yo Han's arms hard.
"Am I wrong if I want to have you? Why would you do all this to me? I've done a lot for you" said Jong Hyun, who doesn't understand why Yo Han tried to stab her in the back.
"Of course it's wrong. How can you force the feelings of others? I don't like it and also all the things you do just to satisfy your lust are not because of me" explained Yo Han.
Hearing Yo Han's words, Jong Hyun felt even more angry.
"I will make you mine and kill everyone who tries to get in my way" Jong Hyun said, leaving Yo Han behind.
After Jong Hyun left his feelings Yo Han became unsettled. He doesn't know what Jong Hyun will do to Kyung Min.
When Yo Han returns to class, the curious Kyung Min asks if she has gotten her proof.
"of course. I burned it" Yo Han told a lie.
"Thank God" Kyung Min replied.
"Do you still have that evidence on your phone?" ask Yo Han.
"of course. Do you want me to remove it too?" ask Kyung Min.
"No need, just keep it for now" Yo Han replied.
Kyung Min obeys Yo Han's orders and believes everything Yo Han says. Yo Han was feeling anxious and scared.
On the other hand Ha Ru who had just returned to lunch, searched around for evidence that Kyung Min gave but was unable to find her.
"What are you doing?" young Min asked as he looked at Ha Ru who was busy by herself.
"Did you see the evidence Kyung Min gave you this morning?" ha Ru asked Young Min.
"Aren't you the one who saved it" said Man Ho who heard the conversation between the two of them.
Finally everyone searched the whole room but did not find it.
"I'm sure someone took it when we had lunch" Mah Ho said.
"I'm going to see the CCTV footage" Young Min said, heading to the security room.
Once there Young Min had to be disappointed because the CCTV died a few minutes so he did not find anything.
Knowing there is nothing they can do makes them angry and disappointed with themselves.
"Why always this way" said Man Ho who looked very upset.
"Then how are we going to uncover this case if all the evidence has been lost?" added Man Ho who was getting annoyed.
"What about the victim's testimony?" young Min asked Ha Ru.
"We can wear but it's still lacking" Ha Ru explained.
"Who would dare to take that evidence?" ask Eun so.
"Do you have any suspicions about who did it?" young Min asked Ha Ru.
"Yeah, I think I have some suspects but I can't prove it either" Ha Ru explained.
Ha Ru suspects that Yo Han took the evidence because she is the one who doesn't want everyone to know about the case and also she suspects Jong Hyun because he is a suspect.
While Ha Ru and her team members are kept busy with the case at the school. In a dumpster was found a woman who died in a suitcase with a blue scarf just like the previous cases. As Jang Man's team is assigned to the school, they have no idea of the discovery of the body. But one of Jang Man's friends handling the case tells Jang Man about the discovery of the corpse. The curious Jang Man immediately went to see the discovery of the corpse.
"I'll go out for a while. You do your duty" said Jang Man in a hurry.
Arriving at the scene Jang Man immediately requested information from his friend who was also the team captain.
"So how?" ask Jang Man to Min Hyuk.
"As I said. This discovery is exactly the same as what you've found before. Actually the boss wanted me to handle the case but seeing the scheme I knew it was related to your previous case" Min Hyuk told Jang Man.
"of course. He was put in a suitcase and covered then on his neck there was also a blue scarf and his body was clean just bruised" explained Min Hyuk.
"You better handle this case" added Min Hyuk.
After finding his body, Jang Man went to see the inspector to ask permission for the case of the discovery of the corpse that had just occurred to be handed over to his team.
"can't. You're still on duty at school so I can't possibly give you that case" the inspector said unequivocally.
Jang Man is forced to show the video of his son making out with Kyung Min to the Inspector. Jang Man took the video just in case the Inspector would comply with his request.
Seeing the video the Inspector was shocked and could not say anything.
"Are you threatening me?" ask the inspector angrily.
"No. I want to make a deal with you. I'm going to give up this video but you have to give me this case and also revoke your orders that assigned us to the school" Jang Man explained.
The inspector thought for a long time and finally accepted Jang Man's offer.
"Is this the only video there?" ask the inspector to convince himself that he made the right decision.
"Of course" Jang Man replied lying.
"Well from tomorrow you will go back to the office and investigate the case" the inspector explained.
After hearing the Inspector's words, Jang Man goes on a break and returns to school to inform his team members.
Arriving at school, Jang Man tells his team members that tomorrow they do not need to return to this school and they will return to the office.
"But what about this case?" asked Ha Ru who did not understand with this sudden decision.
"The other team will take care of it. We have a case more important than this" Jang Man said.
"But this case is also important" said Ha Ru who denied Jang Man's words.
"If I say we're going to let go of this case it means we're letting go" Jang Man said firmly.
They had never seen Jang Man this hard to them. So when Ha Ru wants to refute him she is put under arrest by Young Min. So they finally obeyed Jang Man's orders.
Even so Ha Ru still hasn't given up she tries to talk to Kyung Min but this is who Kyung Min changed towards her.
"Kyung Min what happened to you?" ask Ha Ru.
"I don't want to continue this case and I beg you not to bother me anymore" Kyung Min explained and left Ha Ru.
Seeing Kyung Min's reaction, Yo Han could only smile and Ha Ru felt angry when she saw Yo Han smiling.
"What did you tell him?" ask Ha Ru Keapda Yo Han.
"Whatchu mean? I didn't do anything and moreover you have to respect Kyung Min's decision" Yo Han explained.
"Are you also the one who stole the evidence Kyung Min gave me?" ask Ha Ru.
"I didn't do it. Whether you believe it or not but someone else found it first" Yo Han explained then left Ha Ru.
Ha Ru could only hold back her anger because all of this was in vain.
Yo Han feels happy and a little uneasy about Jong Hyun but she doesn't care as long as Kyung Min is happy. Yo Han did not know that her father already knew the video and when she came home happy suddenly her father told her to go into his father's study.
"What's this?" his father said while showing the video he received from Jang Man.
Yo Han looked surprised when she saw the video that could reach her father's hand. Yo Han could only fall silent without a word.
"From tomorrow you don't have to go to school anymore" said Yo Han's father.
"But, yeah. I still want to go to school" replied the panicked Yo Han.
"Today you will fly to America with your mother and you will go to school there. So forget about him and just focus there" explained Yo Han's father.
"I don't want to go to America" said Yo Han.
Yo Han's father forced Yo Han to leave by calling the bodyguards he had hired. While thrashing Yo Han tried to plead to his father but it was all in vain. There Yo Han was being dragged out, suddenly Jong Hyun came and said to Yo Han's father that he was going to bring Yo Han to America. Because of his overwhelming trust in Jong Hyun, Yo Han's father eventually surrendered Yo Han to Jong Hyun.
"You have to say goodbye to Kyung Min" said Jong Hyun, who is currently in the car with Yo Han.
Yo Han just fell silent.
"Don't try to do anything weird because your father could destroy Kyung Min's family" said Jong Hyun.
"Alright" replied Yo Han.
