Chapter 75 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

Slowly Young Min walked up to Ha Ru. And Ha Ru looked towards Young Min so that their eyes met.

"Hi" said Young Min.

"Hi" Ha Ru replied.

"Are you the officer who found Seung Hoon the first time?" young Min asked Ha Ru.

"Yes. Are you the cop who handled Seung Hoon's case?" ask Ha Ru.

"Yes" Young Min replied as he continued to look at Ha Ru.

Young Min could not believe that he could meet Ha Ru after all this time.

"Please sit down" said Ha Ru, allowing Young Min and Kyung Min to sit down.

Kyung Min who saw Ha Ru also looked pleased.

"Senior do you still remember me?" tabya Kyung Min to Ha Ru in a happy tone.

"Are you that Junior High School student? Kyung Min's? " ask Ha Ru.

"Yes right" Kyung Min replied in a happy tone.

"Now you're a cop?" ask Ha Ru.

"Yes Senior. I've always wanted to meet you but when I went to Ilsan police station I couldn't see you and I was disappointed but today I'm very happy to see you. You are one of the people who motivated me to live. Thank you very much" Kyung Min said, thanking Ha Ru.

While Kyung Min was happy and spoke endlessly to Ha Ru, Young Min could only look at Ha Ru without a word. His feelings of hatred and longing to be one, he had no idea what he would do when he met Ha Ru.

"Oh, what do you want to ask me?" ha Ru asked who felt awkward because of the gaze from Young Min and wanted to leave the place immediately.

"Where did you meet her?" asked Young Min who was still looking at Ha Ru.

"I've written in detail in my report. Didn't you read it?" ask Ha Ru.

"I just want to make sure, who knows you're lying because that's one of your skills" reply Young Min insinuated Ha Ru who once said she would return to Young Min but after a few years Ha Ru did not return.

"Everything I say is honest. He came to the office battered and full of blood. I became the one to help him there and I also had a chance to talk to him but he couldn't give an answer because he was scared. She kept asking to be saved, even though I had spoken that I would not hurt her but she could not calm herself down and kept asking for help to be saved" Ha Ru explained at length.

"Is it clear?" ha Ru asked after explaining everything.

"It has. Then how do you know his name if he can't calm down?" young Min asked Ha Ru.

"He was normal but then he went back to panic" Ha Ru replied.

"Do you get any other information when he's normal?" ask Young Min again.

"No. I didn't have time to ask anything because he kept asking to be protected" Ha Ru replied.

"If you're done asking I'll go" Ha Ru said.

As no answer came out of Young Min's mouth, Ha Ru stood up from her seat and wanted to leave.

"Is there nothing you want to say to me?" asked Young Min who made Ha Ru stop.

"Nothing" Ha Ru replied after Kyung Min left.

"Do you have to be this cruel to me?" ask Young Min again.

"I have other needs so I'll go first" said Ha Ru, who left Young Min alone at the cafe this time.

Young Min could not help Ha Ru not to leave because her heart ached seeing Ha Ru's cold behavior towards her. As Ha Ru had already walked out of the cafe Young Min ran after Ha Ru because she could not let Ha Ru just leave without explanation.

"Wait a minute" Young Min said as she held onto Ha Ru's arm.

"Can we talk for a minute" Young Min said.

"Alright but let go of my hand first" Ha Ru replied.

They went to a park near the cafe.

"What do you want to talk about?" ha Ru asked after they arrived at the park.

Without an answer, Young Min immediately hugged Ha Ru. Ha Ru also looked confused and surprised by Young Min's treatment.

"What are you doing?" ha Ru asked while trying to push Young Min's body.

"I hate you so much but my longing is beyond my hatred for you" said Young Min, who tightened her arms.

"Let go of me right now!!! If you don't let go of me, I don't want to talk to you anymore" Ha Ru said firmly.

Young Min finally let go of his embrace and could only look at Ha Ru's face.

"I don't have time now so I go first" Ha Ru said avoiding Young Min because Ha Ru was also surprised to see Young Min.

Eventually the two of them separated and Young Min did not stop Ha Ru.

Young Min returns to his car where Kyung Min is waiting for him. Kyung Min did not dare to say or ask anything related to Ha Ru.

After the meeting and they have confirmed Seung Hoon's identity, the two of them go to the place where Seung Hoon works. The place where Seung Hoon works is just an ordinary little bar. There Seung Hoon only works as a cleaner and not as a gigolo.

"Do you know where Seung Hoon lives?" ask Young Min who has met with one of the staff who knows Seung Hoon.

"I don't know where he lives now because in the last few weeks he has moved from where he used to live" the staff replied.

"Do you know that Seung Hoon was kidnapped?" ask Young Min again.

"abducted? Maybe you got the wrong guy. Seung Hoon went out of the country with his girlfriend" the staff replied.

"His love?" ask Young Min.

"Yes. About two months ago he met a rich woman, although she was old but her face still looked young and very beautiful. The woman often spent her money in this bar. At first I wondered why he would spend so much money in a small bar like this and later I found out that he did it to attract the attention of Seung Hoon. And then Seung Hoon fell in love and they dated. During a relationship with the rich woman Seung Hoon still works here but his lifestyle has changed. He went to work using a sports car given by his lover and also he lived in a luxury apartment owned by his lover. Then 3 weeks ago he said that his girlfriend would take him abroad to live together with a happy face. After that time I've never met Seung Hoon again" explains one of the staff who is quite familiar with Seung Hoon.

"Is the woman Seung Hoon is loving this woman?" young Min asked while showing a photo of Dong Mi.

"It's true that she's Seung Hoon's girlfriend" the staff member confirmed a question from Young Min.
