Chapter 48 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
Soon they arrive at the villa where Won's mother is.
"Whose house is this?" ask Ha Ru to Won.
"My mother's house. I will introduce you to my mother" Won explained and then invited Ha Ru to come inside.
Ha Ru was astonished that the house was so quiet that there was not even a sign of Won's mother living there. Shortly after Won shows their room Sung Jae who just came out came to the house.
Ha Ru instantly recognizes the man but is unable to say anything because she is confused as to why Sung Jae is in this house.
"Know this is my sister. His name is Sung Jae" Won said, introducing Ha Ru to Sung Jae.
"I've met him" Ha Ru said honestly.
"Hello, it's nice to see you again" said Sung Jae, who reached out with his hand.
"Hello" Ha Ru replied as she shook Sung Jae's hand.
"We're going to stay here for a few months, Ha Ru is pregnant so I want a peaceful atmosphere" Won told Sung Jae.
"No problem. Hope you feel at home here" Sung Jae told Ha Ru
As they were getting acquainted suddenly Ha Na came down from the top floor.
"Are there any guests?" ha Na said walking down.
"Ha Na, are you awake? " ask Sung Jae who walked over to Ha Na.
"Yes, who are they?" ask Ha Na.
"Include him, he's my brother and his girlfriend" Sung Jae told Ha Na.
"Hello glad to meet you my name is Ha Na" Ha Na said as she shook Ha Ru and Won's hands.
"Ha Na is my boyfriend" Sung Jae replied explaining Ha Na's status.
After chatting with Sung Jae and Ha Na, Ha Ru felt that there was something strange about Ha Na's behavior so she watched Ha Na continuously. Ha Ru also felt strange because she couldn't see Won's mother.
"By the way, where's your mom? he said this is your mother's house" asked Ha Ru who had not seen Won's mother.
"Mother is sick so she's resting in the room. Later after he improves I will introduce him to you" Won explained to Ha Ru.
"Alright" Ha Ru replied.
After they finished dinner, Ha Ru and Won returned to their very grand and spacious room. In the room there is a bathroom and also a small living room like an apartment with one room.
Currently Ha Ru only knows that Won is a tempramental person and has a high obsession about something that belongs to him. He doesn't know Won is a serial killer.
"Do you like this place?" ask Won to Ha Ru.
"Yes, this place is very good" Ha Ru said honestly.
Somehow Ha Ru feels comfortable with the circumstances around the villa and also Won whose nature is back to what it used to be.
"I'm glad you like her. Please don't stay with me" Won said, hugging Ha Ru.
"Why do you think that?" asked Ha Ru who saw the other side of Won.
"It's okay. Oh yes we will do a DNA test on our baby" said Won who still hugs Ha Ru.
"Alright, I don't have a problem with that" Ha Ru replies, realizing that Won may still not believe the child she's carrying is her child.
"Explain to me what really happened?" jang Man asked who was upset that Young Min had not told Jang Man anything.
"Don't you trust your team members and I'm sure you'll need our help" Man Ho added.
"alright. So originally because I couldn't contact Ha Ru and I was worried so I decided to come to Won's house. But after I managed to enter I saw Ha Ru's face full of bruises right then and there I thought about saving Ha Ru. And there was a fight that could not be avoided" explained Young Min while drinking soju in his glass.
"really? It's just fitting that Ha Ru looks strange at the hospital" explained Man Ho.
"Don't worry we'll help you to save Ha Ru. But why did Ha Ru choose to still be with Won? " said Jang Man who seemed confused by the choice chosen by Ha Ru.
"It's because Ha Ru is pregnant with Won's child" said Young Min who did not know the real reason why Ha Ru did it.
After their long conversation, they intend to help Young Min and save Ha Ru who is part of a team that is already like a family to them.
The next day Young Min's mother, who sees Young Min at home, seems curious as to why Young Min does not go to work.
"Are you not working?" ask Young Min's mother who sees Young Min never leaving the house.
"I'm on leave and I want to be with my mom" Young Min told a lie.
During his mother's stay, Young Min devises a plan to save Ha Ru and investigate Won's background. Young Min asks for help from his team members. Although not yet getting important information Young Min made a scheme about Won.
Meanwhile, Ha Ru spends her days at home with Won, Sung Jae and Ha Na. They often went together to the fields behind the villa to pick vegetables and fruits.
"Did you plant all this?" ask Ha Ru to Sung Jae.
"Not everyone, Won is the one who planted the fruit trees and I just planted the vegetables along with Ha Na" Sung Jae explained.
Ha Ru did not expect that farming activities were very pleasant and at once Ha Ru forgot all her problems and burdens.
"Do you like this?" ask Ha Na to Ha Ru.
"Yes, this is very fun and also everyone looks happy" Ha Ru said with a smile.
"I'm relieved you like it" Ha Na replied as she picked the tomatoes.
After they finished picking vegetables and fruit, they returned to prepare breakfast.
"Can you cook?" ask Ha Na to Ha Ru.
"I never do it because Won always cooks for me" Ha Ru replied.
"Hahaha.it's very interesting because Sung Jae also always cooks for me but I want to make him an occasional meal. Maybe cooking genes flow on them" Ha Na joked.
"How long have you been together?" ask Ha Na to Ha Ru.
"Almost a year. What about you? " reply Ha Ru.
"I'm the same" Ha Na replied.
"So what was your job?" ha Ru asked Ha Na.
"job? I don't think I have it. I don't really remember because Sung Jae said I just recovered from an accident and had amnesia" Ha Na explained with a smile that was always on her face.
"How about you?" ask Ha Na to Ha Ru.
"I'm a police officer and on leave at the moment" Ha Ru replied.
Soon their food is ready and Sung Jae comes to the kitchen to get the food to be given to their mother.
