Chapter 67 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

As a chase ensues, Kyung Min chases right behind her while Young Min chooses to find a shortcut.

"Stop you" said Kyung Min while chasing Jae Hee.

Kyung Min who looks tired looks weakened when chasing Jae Hee. Jae Hee, who sees her distance from Kyung Min widening, looks at Kyung Min while smiling without knowing that Young Min is in front of her. As he ran, he hit Young Min and fell.

"Oh" said Jae Hee who fell.

"Why did you run?" young Min asks while handcuffing Jae Hee's hand so she doesn't run away again.

"I just wanted to talk to you and you ran away from me so I had no choice but to handcuff you" Young Min said, explaining why she handcuffed Jae Hee.

They take Jae Hee to their car.

"Who are y'all? What do you want from me?" ask Jae Hee who is scared.

"We just wanted to have a little chat with you but you ran away. We are from the police" Young Min said, showing his identification card.

Jae Hee is instantly speechless knowing they are cops.

"Do you know this woman?" young Min asked while showing Dong Mi a photo.

"I don't know who he is" Jae Hee replied lying.

"really? I'll ask you one more time. Do you know this woman?" ask Young Min again.

This time Jae Hee was silent.

"Well if that's your choice, we'll take you to the police station right now" Young Min said.

Because Jae Hee is only silent, they bring Jae Hee to the police station. Once there Jae Hee is immediately taken into the investigation room. Since Young Min and Kyung Min are the ones who catch her, they are the ones who interrogate Jae Hee.

"We meet again" Young Min said as he entered the room.

"This is a violation of human rights. You guys can't catch me like this" Jae Hee explained, feeling like she was being treated unfairly.

"I'm just doing my job so you don't run away again" Young Min said.

"alright. I will start the investigation" Young Min continued.

"Do you know this woman" Young Min asked again while showing Dong Mi a photo.

"How many times have I told you, I don't know who that woman is" Jae Hee replied angrily.

"If you don't know this woman then why do you go to her house almost every day" Young Min said while showing CCTV footage they got.

Seeing the video left Jae Hee speechless and she just fell silent.

"What business do you have coming to this house? Did you know that the person who lives in this house is this woman?" ask Young Min again.

"I will not exercise my right to be silent" Jae Hee explained.

"Do you admit that you stole a diamond from Dong Mi's mother?" ask Young Min.

"stealing? I never stole, it was all a plan from that woman. He was addicted to gambling so he had to sell his diamonds to cover debts. I didn't expect him to make me a scapegoat for his own actions" explained Jae Hee who did not accept being accused of stealing by Dong Mi.

"So you admit to knowing Dong Mi's mom?" ask Young Min again.

"Yes" Jae Hee replied honestly.

"What is your relationship with him?" ask Young Min.

"Do you have any evidence that he planned anything?" ask Young Min again.

"Of course, I had a recording of our conversation when he said the plan he was going to do. I always record all of our conversations just in case" Jae Hee explained.

While Jae Hee is being interrogated, Dong Mi who can't find Jae Hee starts to panic because according to the report she received, Jae Hee is being chased by the police.

"What should I do now?" dong Mi asked her personal assistant.

"You need to calm down first" said Dong Min's assistant.

"If you were me would you be able to calm down? I'm sure he'll tell the police everything. What if my husband knows? He could have really killed me. In addition, Jong Hyun who is now home, the sooner my husband will know what I have done behind his back" obviously Dong Mi who was at fault paced back and forth while biting her finger due to feeling anxious and scared.

"Do I have to clean it up?" ask Dong Mi's assistant.

"What if we clean it up, will everything go back to how it was?" dong Mi asked her assistant.

"What if they arrest me for murder? And how can we take care of him while he's inside the police station" continued Dong Mi who continued to feel worried.

"I'm sorry" said Dong Mi's assistant.

"Akhhh... I should have killed him like any other man" Dong Mi expressed frustration.

While Dong Mi was feeling anxious and scared, the atmosphere on the top floor looked different. Yo Han who had gotten used to Jong Hyun's presence did not give any resistance when Jong Hyun approached her.

"Why do you hate your stepmother so much?" yo Han asked as they were watching TV in Jong Hyun's room.

"I used to see him cheating on my dad so I didn't like him. Although my father is not a good person either but at least he is still my father and I don't like it when people betray my father" Jong Hyun replied explaining his feelings while putting his head on Yo Han's shoulders.

"What about you?" ask Jong Hyun.

"What's wrong with me?" ask Yo Han.

"Why don't you go back to your house?" ask Jong Hyun again.

"You know for yourself" Yo Han's short reply made them speechless.

At Ilsan police station, Jang Man's team members move in after getting evidence and information from Jae Hee. They go to Dong Mi's house to arrest Dong Mi for playing tricks and lying to the police.

"It turns out Eun Ho's imagination is proven" Young Min said as they were in the car en route to Dong Mi's house.

"I told you that he was an affair with that woman. You're the only one who doesn't believe in me" explained Eun Ho who felt proud.

"Yes, I'm sorry for not believing your imagination" Man Ho said.

"It's not an imagination but a police instinct" replied Eun Ho who did not accept Man Ho's remark.

After their brief conversation, they arrived at Dong Mi's house with an arrest warrant. Although it was blocked by the housekeeper, but they managed to enter the house.

"What are you doing in my house?" dong Mi asked when she saw Jang Man and his men inside Dong Mi's house.

"You we arrested on charges of prostitution and also toying with officers" Jang Man said, carrying an arrest warrant.

Dong Mi thrashed around not wanting to be arrested so as to make a fuss in the house. Because of the commotion that happened Yo Han and Jong Hyun came out and saw many people below so they went downstairs.

"What's this?" jong Hyun asked who made all the police look towards Jong Hyun and Yo Han unbridled Kyung Min.

Kyung Min sees Yo Han after being separated for several years.
