Chapter 29 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

Sung Jae fell right in front of Ha Na. Ha Na who sees Sung Jae is fine is feeling happy.

"Are you that happy to meet Sung Jae? " ask Won to Ha Na.

"Never hurt Sung Jae" Ha Na told Sung Jae.

"Hahahahahaha...... Haha... You stupid woman" said Won.

Sung Jae did not say a word because he was afraid of making mistakes that made Ha Na hate him.

"Don't you find it strange why I let my victims roam free? If he is my victim, he will end up just like you" Won told Ha Na.

"What do you mean?" asked Ha Na who did not want to believe what she was thinking at the moment.

"I know you must have understood what I said. And what you think is absolutely right" Won said.

"No way." replied Ha Na.

"Sung Jae, there's no way you're doing this. Answer me, tell me that what he said is not true" Ha Na said in tears.

"Sung Jae, please answer me" Ha Na continued.

Sung Jae can't say anything to Ha Na, he doesn't want to justify what Ha Na thinks with his own mouth.

"Sung Jae, tell me the truth. If you tell me the truth I'll let her go and we can have her" Won told Sung Jae.

"Are you sure?" ask Sung Jae who is tempted by Won's words.

"Of course, I always keep my word" Won explained.

"Everything you think is right" Sung Jae said without daring to look at Ha Na.

"What?" reply Ha Na whose body is shaking.

"True, this is all my plan. I deliberately approached you and I was not a victim of the perpetrator either. Our original plan was to kill you but I couldn't do it because I liked you" Sung Jae explained.

"Now you don't have to worry because my brother will let us go so we can be together again like before" Sung Jae said as he looked at Ha Na's face this time.

But it was not happiness that was implied in Ha Na's eyes but fear and disgust towards Sung Jae.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" said Sung Jae who felt angry with Ha Na's gaze.

"Don't tell me we're gonna be together again. And you like me so why are you looking at me with that kind of look" Sung Jae continued angrily.

"I'd rather die than come back to you. You crazy man. Do you know you're sick" Ha Na replied to Sung Jae.

"What did you say? Say it again" Sung Jae said with a cold, deadly expression.

"You are sick" said Ha Na.

Hearing that Sung Jae directly slapped Ha Na hard. Not only once, Sung Jae started beating up Ha Na and Won who was there did not stop Sung Jae from enjoying the show that Sung jae did.

After a while, Won stops Sung Jae's brutality.

"You can kill him. Don't you want to be with him" Won said to wake Sung Jae up.

Sung Jae who woke up and saw Ha Na who was helpless in front of him immediately hugged Ha Na and apologized while crying.

"Sister, did I kill him?" ask Sung Jae to Won.

"Yet" Won replies after making sure Ha Na is still alive.

"We have to take him away and I'll treat him" Won said.

They took Ha Na to the place where their mother was. Once there, Sung Jae lies Ha Na in the room on the second floor and Won begins to treat the wounds on Ha Na's face and body.

"You really hit him hard this time" Won said while treating Ha Na.

"Will he be okay? " ask the worried Sung Jae.

"Don't worry, he'll be fine. It just takes more time for him to realize. Now you know what to do after he wakes up so that our plan can stay safe?" won said to Sung Jae.

"I know and Thank you for letting him live" Sung Jae told Won.

"All right, I'll go first. Tomorrow I'll be here again to check on her condition" Won said and left Sung Jae.

Meanwhile, Ha Ru and her team members have given up all the evidence they have to violence and Eun Woo is finally arrested for the attempted murder of Shin Ji and violence against Seol Hyun and pornography. All the TV stations broadcast news about Eun Woo and his distinguished family. In an instant Eun Woo's family is destroyed. Sung Jae who saw the news about Eun Woo's family smiled full of satisfaction.

"In a moment, it'll all be over" Sung Jae said as he watched the news.

Elsewhere Ha Ru visits the hospital where Won works to find the nurse who provided her with evidence for Eun Woo's case. She asked from one person to another but she could not find the nurse. Although she had difficulty telling the characteristics of the sister but no one knew her.

While searching for the nurse, Ha Ru accidentally meets Won who just came to the hospital.

"What are you doing here?" won said after seeing Ha Ru.

"I'm on duty. Did you just come?" ha Ru asked to see Won who was still wearing ordinary clothes.

"I had to go out and just came back" Won replied.

"Let me drive you" Won said as he held Ha Ru's arm.

"Alright" Ha Ru replied.

They both went to the police station.

"What's the problem? Why do you look so rushed?" ask Won to Ha Ru.

"You know what a big case in the media is. The culprit wanted to say something to me and I think that's a very important thing" Ha Ru explained.

"What does he want to talk about?" asked Won who was feeling a little worried.

"I'm not sure" Ha Ru explained.

Soon they arrived at the office where Ha Ru worked and Ha Ru immediately rushed away.

"I'll call you later" Ha Ru said and ran inside.

Won, who was feeling anxious, was worried that Eun Woo would tell her things that could make Ha Ru suspicious of him.

Won called Sung Jae.

"It looks like we have to take care of him too" Won said on the phone.

"I think it's going to be difficult because he's already in the prosecutor's office right now" Sung Jae replied.

"I have a plan and you just have to do it. Come here" Won ordered and hung up.

Sung Jae leaves the villa where Ha Na and her mother are and makes sure that she closes and locks all the doors.

Meanwhile, Ha Ru who just came directly to the investigation room and in front of the room there are many people including the Prosecutor who handled the case.

"What are you guys doing here? " ask Ha Ru when she sees all her team members outside.

"He won't say a word except you" Young Min explained.

"So you're the one whose name is Ha Ru. What is Eun Woo's relationship with you?" ask the suspect-looking prosecutor.

"We don't have any relationship" Ha Ru replied briefly.

"Then why would he just want to talk to you?" ask Prosecutor.

"I'm also curious about that why it's just me and not you who's the Prosecutor" Ha Ru replied while questioning the Prosecutor.

"Ha Ru, what are you doing? hurry inside" Jang Man told Ha Ru to avoid a fight.

Ha Ru follows Jang Man's orders and enters the investigation room.

"You better take care of your attitude because thanks to him you get a big case" said Young Min who also disliked the Prosecutor.

After Ha Ru enters the investigation room, they enter the next room to observe Ha Ru and Eun Woo.

"What do you want to see me?" ha Ru asks Eun Woo while sitting in Eun Woo's presence.

"Finally you came too" said Eun Woo, who was delighted to see Ha Ru.

"What do you want to say?" asked the curious Ha Ru.

"How did you get all the evidence of my crimes?" eun Woo asked Ha Ru.

"Someone gave it to me" Ha Ru said.

"Are you not suspicious? How come someone suddenly gives you all the evidence that relates all my crimes to you?" it was obviously Eun Woo who seemed to know something about the person who gave Ha Ru all the evidence.

"It's all just a coincidence" said Ha Ru, who did not want to believe what Eun Woo said.

"Continuously? Are you sure? Will you be able to find the person who gave you the evidence" asked Eun Woo.

"Do you know anything about that guy?" ha Ru asks who is curious about what Eun Woo knows.

"Maybe he's dead" Eun Woo said casually.

"Tell me the truth, what do you know about that person?" asked Ha Ru who was getting curious.

"If you want to find out I want you to turn off the surveillance cameras" Ha Ru told Eun Woo.

"Why?" ask Ha Ru.

"If you don't want to, I won't say it either" Eun Woo said.

After thinking for a while Ha Ru decided to make sure the camera was in the investigation room. Ha Ru's actions made the people who were watching them panic and try to get out but were stopped by Young Min and told them to trust Ha Ru.

"I'm a drug that does all your orders. Now tell me what I know" said Ha Ru.

"If you're looking for the person who gave you the evidence it's useless because I found him first and he's dead" Eun Woo explained.
