Chapter 19 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

Min Jae who saw Ha Ru just fell silent to take advantage of the opportunity to escape. The awakened Ha Ru immediately chased after Min Jae.

The rest of the team saw Ha Ru chasing after MI Jae, they immediately helped Ha Ru chase after Min Jae. A chase between the police and Min Jae is inevitable. Young Min chases in a different direction trying to catch Min Jae until Min Jae is finally cornered and caught. They also secure the box that Min Jae opened which turned out to contain drugs.

The other members were busy clearing the TKP and left Min Jae with Ha Ru alone.

"How do you know Won? " ask Ha Ru to Min Jae.

Min Jae who heard Ha Ru's question laughed.

"My answer is, How do you know Won?" asked the irritated Ha Ru while holding Min Jae's collar.

"What can I get after telling you about my relationship with Won? You ask too many questions without offering anything interesting to me. This kind of business doesn't appeal to me" explained Min Jae.

Ha Ru releases her hand from Min Jae's collar and can only be speechless. She doesn't want to fall into Min Jae's trap and chooses to keep quiet.

Elsewhere, Won pretends to be Min Ji's family by using all the fake documents he created. The sisters believe in it and let Won take Min Ji. On the way to take Min Ji, Won gets a call from someone who tells her that Min Jae has been caught by the police for drug use.

"Continue as planned" Won said and hung up.

Upon reaching home, Won begins to finish Min Ji off in his basement. His face looked happy when he did that.

"Eventually it's all over" Won said after successfully bringing Min Ji home and successfully killing Min Ji.

The next day Min Ji's body is found by a resident in a rice field near the warehouse where Min Jae keeps his drugs.

"Aren't we here yesterday?" said Eun So who did not understand how she could miss such an important thing.

"really. Does that mean Min Jae kills people too?" said Man Ho.

"I don't think so. Yesterday when I followed him he went straight into the warehouse and opened the box we found" Ha Ru explained, who was also confused.

"Then what after we left the perpetrator came and dumped the body here? " more Young Min.

"But isn't this the same case as Gyuri's. They were both dumped in suitcases, all of which are exactly how Gyuri was dumped" Ha Ru explained.

Hearing Jang Man's orders they immediately did their respective duties. Young Min and Ha Ru go to the police station when they get there, they are surprised that Min Jae is released.

"Free? What do you mean free? We haven't investigated it. How can he be free?" young Min asked the guard.

"I don't know. I just obeyed the order from the inspector" the prison warden said.

Young Min who was upset immediately went to see the inspector in his office even though Ha Ru had tried to stop him but everything was in vain.

"How can you release the suspect? " ask Young Min who entered suddenly into the inspector room without any manners.

"What are you doing? Enter suddenly without manners" said the inspector in a high tone.

"Why did you release Min Jae" Young Min said as he held back his emotions.

"Because he's innocent and you're holding him. I've investigated him and it turns out that he lied to his friend so he was trapped" the Inspector told a lie.

"If there's nothing you want to talk about, you can leave" the inspector added.

Young Min left the inspector's room with a feeling of annoyance and anger, Ha Ru who was beside him tried to calm Young Min down but it felt futile.

Man Ho and Eun So are in the forensic agency for the identification of the victim, after they get the identity of the victim they go to the victim's family home to tell the sad news. After going to the victim's house they went to Min Ji's workplace. They hope to find clues to Min Ji's death.

"Good afternoon from the police, we wanted to ask you something. Do you know Min Ji" asked Man Ho to one of the sisters while showing him his Identity card.

"Min Ji's? yes I know him. But he hasn't been to work in a few days. We tried to contact him but couldn't. What is it? " said one of the sisters.

"We found Min Ji dead. Did you know someone was suspicious or Min Ji once said he was close to someone?" ask Man Ho.

"Know I don't exist. Min Ji also rarely tells stories but we know that Min Ji likes doctor Won" said the nurse.

"Doctor Won? " ask Eun So.

"Yes, one of our doctors. He is very handsome then it is no wonder many sisters fell in love with him including Min Ji" replied Sister.

"Do you know where I can see the doctor?" ask Man Ho.

" There can meet him in the IGD room, he is currently serving there" the nurse said.

After getting the information they went straight to the IGD but before they went far there was a nun who stopped them.

"I have info, before Min Ji disappeared he got a gift from someone and he looked very happy. She said the guy was going to be her boyfriend" explained the nun who stopped Man ho and Eun So.

"Do you know who that guy is?" ask Man Ho.

"I don't know" the nurse replied and then left in front of Man Ho and Eun So.

"Wait a minute" Man Ho said but the nurse kept running.

Finally they meet Won who is on duty at IGD.

"Can I talk to Doctor Won? " ask Man Ho to one of the sisters there while showing his Identity Card.

"Doctor Won is there" said the nurse, who was there pointing to a man treating the patient.

Man Ho and Eun So approach Won.

"Are you doctor Won?" ask Man Ho.

"Yes" Won replied as he glanced at the person who asked him to speak and refocused on treating his patients.

"Can we talk for a second?" ask Man Ho.

"could. Please wait a moment I'll be done soon" said Won who is still treating his patients.

After finishing treating his patients, Won approached Man Ho and Eun So who were waiting for him in the IGD room.

"Can I help you?" ask Won to Man Ho and Eun So.

"Do you know Min Ji?" ask Man Ho.

"Min Ji's? It seems like I've heard that name" Won replied pretending to forget.

"Min Ji, one of the sisters who helps you when you practice" explained Eun So.

"Oh. Sister Min Ji. yes I know. What's wrong?" ask Won.

"Min Ji is dead and it's possible that he was killed. I want to ask if you know anything about Min Ji because people say that Min Ji really likes you" Man Ho asked.

"I don't know much about Min Ji, but he often gives me food or drinks" Won explained.

"Do you like Min Ji too? " ask Eun So.

"No, I already have a girlfriend so I don't like any other girl besides my boyfriend" Won replied.

"Alright Thank you for the cooperation" said Man Ho.

"Sama-sama, if there is anything you want to ask again I am ready to answer" Won said and left Man Ho and Eun So.

They returned to their offices feeling disappointed at not being able to get any leads. Arriving at the office they are faced with a team atmosphere that is so quiet even Jang Man already knows the release of Min Jae carried out by the inspector.

"What's going on? Why do you all seem so upset" asked Man Ho who had just arrived.

"The inspector released Min Jae without our knowledge" Ha Ru replied.

"What?? Is he crazy?" tanyq Man Ho who did not believe what he heard.

"Why? Why would he do that?" ask Man Ho again.

"We do not know the reason because he suddenly went on a business trip" said Ha Ru.

"Nothing is going well on our team. Everything is chaotic, even we did not get any clues" said Eun So who looks sad and resigned.

"Is there nothing we can do?" young Min asked Jang Man who had just been silent and pensive.

Jang Man was silent.

"We should just go home today, there's nothing we can do anymore. It's all in vain, it's useless we try hard to solve the problem but our boss does not want us to do it" explained Jang Man who looked upset and left his team members.

"Captain, where are you going?" said Man Ho.

Elsewhere, Min Jae was standing in front of his father.

"Are you trying to destroy me?" said Min Jae's father, Lee Yong Bin.

"I'm sorry. I won't do it again" Min Jae replied.

"Who said you can't do it. You can do it just do not let the police know" said Lee Yong Bin.

While Min Jae was frightened, Won, who was also the son of Lee Yong Bin, entered his father's room where Min Jae was being punished.
