Chapter 45 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
After hearing what Ki Bum said, Young Min immediately detained Hyun Moo as a suspect and was no longer a suspect.
"What are you doing?" lawyer Hyun Moo asked when he saw Hyun Moo in handcuffs by Young Min.
"Currently Hyun Moo is a suspect because a witness saw Hyun Moo commit his crime" Young Min told the lawyer.
"Hyun Moo is currently a suspect in cases of rape and violence against minors. You have the right to be silent and also hire a lawyer and everything you say will be used in court against you" Young Min told Hyun Moo.
"You can't do this to me. Do you have any proof that I did it?" hyun Moo shouted as he was taken away by the police to prison.
In other places Yu Ri who is still traumatized will be hysterical when she sees men including her father. Her father, who missed her daughter so much, was unable to get close to her because of the trauma she had. Instantly the news of the rape that Yu Ri experienced became news headlines everywhere. Even the reporters entered the hospital where Yu Ri was treated, it made Yu Ri moved to a more private room to avoid reporters.
Meanwhile, Ha Ru who did not go to work instead came to the hospital after asking Won to accompany her.
"Why do you want to come here?" won asked Ha Ru when they got there.
"I saw on TV that Yu Ri's case was a conversation all over the country. I was worried that the reporter would chase after Yu Ri because of her unstable condition it would make Yu Ri even more frightened" Ha Ru explained after seeing the news on TV.
Ha Ru came to the hospital wearing a hat and glasses to cover the bruises on her face. Ha Ru asks where Yu Ri is at the moment and the nurse tells Yu ri whereabouts after Ha Ru shows her identity card as a police officer.
"Is Yu Ri okay?" ha Ru asked when she reached Yu Ri's room.
"thank God you came" said Yu Ri's mother, who looked tired from avoiding reporters.
"Everything will be fine now don't worry" Ha Ru said as she hugged Yu Ri's mother.
Mah Ho and Eun So come to the hospital after hearing the news about Yu Ri on Jang Man's orders. They are shocked when they see Ha Ru who is already in the hospital along with Won.
"Ha Ru" called Man Ho who made Ha Ru look towards Man Ho.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you sick?" asked Man Ho who did not expect Ha Ru to be here.
"Yes I'm sick, I was checking here then I saw the news on TV and I was straight away yesterday" Ha Ru explained lying while trying to cover her face.
"Are you okay now? " ask Man Ho who is worried about Ha Ru.
"Yes I'm fine. What about the guards? Have you guys been providing any guard outside?" ha Ru asked to switch the conversation.
"We've done it and we've also asked the hospital to ban people from entering this corridor and not allow reporters to come here" Man Ho said.
"Lucky This hospital was very helpful and helped protect Yu Ri. So you don't have to worry, Yu Ri's face won't appear on TV" Man Ho told Yu Ri's mother.
Yu Ri's mother was relieved by what the police said. Yu Ri's mother was afraid that her son's face would become the headlines throughout the country and become the subject of people's speech because it could affect Yu Ri's future.
Won who had been watching Ha Ru and the team members saw that Ha Ru should leave and not go back to work.
"Are you done?" ask Won to Ha Ru.
"Yes" replied Ha Ru.
"Alright" Ha Ru replied forced to obey Won's orders.
"Then excuse us" Won said to everyone in the room.
Ha Ru returns home with Won, when Ha Ru has left the hospital Young Min came to see Yu Ri. And after she found out that Yu Ri was fine she started to breathe a sigh of relief.
"But didn't Ha Ru look suspicious?" man Ho asked Eun So.
"Has Ha Ru been here?" young Min asks before Eun So answers Man Ho's question.
"Didn't you meet her? He just got home" Man Ho said.
Hearing Man Ho Young Min's words immediately searched for Ha Ru but she was too late. He could not find Ha Ru.
"Ah shit" said Young Min in annoyance.
He suddenly recalled Man Ho saying that Ha Ru looked suspicious. Young Min also felt so because he could not contact Ha Ru at all. Young Min ran inside and approached Man Ho.
"What does he mean by a suspicious-looking Ha Ru?" young Min asked Man Ho because he was worried about Ha Ru.
"He covers his face with a hat and km and glasses, he also does not want to look at us" explained Man Ho explained Ha Ru's condition.
Young Min who feels something is wrong with Ha Ru comes to Won's house. She presses Won's house restlessly but there is no answer from inside. Because too worried Young Min also climbed the wall of Won's room and went inside without permission.
He saw that all the lights in the house were off and uninhabited. Then when he tried to open the door Win suddenly heard the sound of a car and Young Min spontaneously hid.
Young Min looks at Won who is embracing Ha Ru's shoulder and seems that Ha Ru is uncomfortable with Won's touch.
After Won enters the house, Young Min looks for a way to meet Ha Ru without Won's knowledge but she can't find a way to meet Ha Ru.
Meanwhile, in Ha Ru's house, she moves away from Won and says she wants to take a bath first. Arriving in the bathroom she locked her door tightly and saw her face still injured. At that time Ha Ru thought of escaping Won but she was afraid that Won would find her and kill her instead.
"What should I do? Damnit... I can't live like this" Ha Ru said as she looked at herself in the mirror.
"Ha Ru, are you still a long time?" won asked knocking on the bathroom door.
"Why did you lock the door" Won continued, banging on the bathroom door.
Ha Ru looked increasingly agitated but she finally opened the bathroom door.
"What are you doing? Why lock the door? ask Won who is currently in the bathroom with Ha Ru.
"Sorry, I didn't know that I locked the door" elak Ha Ru said with unbelievable reason.
"Don't think no-no or I'll hurt everyone you care about including Young Min" Won threatened with a smile while kissing Ha Ru's shoulder.
