Chapter 10 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

Ha Ru had just set foot on Ilsan, while on her way to his residence suddenly the taxi Ha Ru was riding in had an accident that caused Ha Ru to be injured. Ha Ru was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital although her injuries were not so severe Ha Ru still had to be treated but Ha Ru insisted on treating her own injuries. Unknowingly there was a doctor who noticed Ha Ru since Ha Ru first came to the ER, then the doctor came and approached Ha Ru.
“Anyone who comes to the ER in an injured state must be treated whether it is a serious wound or not serious” said a doctor named Lee Won.
"But I'm fine and I have to go home soon" Ha Ru said.
Lee Won ignored Ha Ru's words and sat down in front of Ha Ru. He treated the wounds on Ha Ru's hands and head, Ha Ru could only silently accept Lee Won's treatment. He is like hypnotized by the existence of Lee Won, his handsome face and his face reminds Ha Ru of his first love it makes him more stunned with Lee Won.
“You have to have an MRI because your head hit so we have to find out if your head is okay?” said Lee Won.
“Alright” replied Ha Ru who was still looking fixed on Lee Won's face. In front of Lee Won, Ha Ru became obedient.
“Smart girl” said Lee Won as he rubbed Ha Ru's hair and gave her a lollipop.
Ha Ru saw the lollipop and remembered the boy who gave her the lollipop the day her parents were buried, the boy was also her first love. Ha Ru, awakened from her daydream, goes to find the doctor and hopes that he is her first love. Ha Ru tries to chase after the doctor but she does not know where the doctor is going, as she wants to continue her search suddenly the nurse calls her name to do an MRI that makes her lose Lee Won.
“Doctor who was treating me what is his name?” ha Ru asked the nurse after she finished the MRI.
“Ah, his name is Lee Won. She is the most handsome doctor here” replied the nurse.
Hearing the same name Ha Ru grew convinced that the doctor was the boy who comforted her first.
“Where can I see doctor Lee Won? I want to thank you for treating me” asked Ha Ru to the sister earlier.
“Usually if at this hour he has gone home, but just try your surgery. She is a surgeon at this hospital” replied the nurse.
Ha Ru quickly headed to the surgeon to find Lee Won, she ran as hard as she could and wished Lee Won was still in the hospital. Arriving at the surgical section he asked the nurse who served there and it turned out that Lee Won had just come down. Ha Ru ran again to chase Lee Won, she ran down the emergency stairs where it was faster. Arriving below he saw Lee Won was walking out of the hospital.
“Doctor Lee Won” shouted Ha Ru with all his might to make the people around him see him.
Ha Ru's efforts succeeded, Lee Won stopped and turned towards Ha Ru's voice, Ha Ru walked over to her.
“Can I hitchhike in your car?” ask Ha Ru on a spontaneous basis for not wanting to lose Won.
“Hahaha... Indeed you can go home?” won asked while laughing because Ha Ru suddenly asked him for a ride.
"It's been... They let me go home" Ha Ru lied
“Of course. Where's your stuff?” won said with a smile because he knew Ha Ru was lying.
“In ER” replied Ha Ru
Won walks towards the ER to pick up Ha Ru's belongings and Ha Ru follows Won like a chick. After picking up Ha Ru's belongings in the ER, they immediately got into Won's car.
On the other hand at Ilsan police station, Criminal Unit 1 was having a bad day because the suspect they arrested escaped again just because he was the son of a council member. The team captain was furious that their superior had told him to release the suspect.
“Ah, I'm really sick of our Inspector. Just for the sake of his personal affairs he always just passed the criminals who have a high status” Man Ho said with annoyance.
“To be honest I feel ashamed as a police officer because he” Eun So responded to Man Ho's words.
“Yes, it's better we're home now. Let the captain take care of all this” take Young Min.
“But I feel unfair why we have to experience this continuously” complains Yong Ha.
“Have it, don't complain and just go home. I'm going home too. We just need to obey the orders of superiors for that we are paid” said Young Min who also actually felt angry at what had just happened.
At the same time Ha Ru and Won were in the same car on the way to Ha Ru's house. Ha Ru who wants to ask Won something can only steal a glance because she is not sure if Won is the person she has been looking for all this time.
“Is there anything you want to say to me?” ask Won.
“Doctor, do you remember me?” ask Ha Ru carefully.
“Of course, you are already big now” replied Won.
“How are you?” asked Won without answering Ha Ru's question.
“I'm fine. Now I am a policeman” Ha Ru replied with vigor.
“Do you already have a lover?” keep Ha Ru.
“Why? Do you like me?” asked Won with a little teasing.
“Yes, I liked you so much from the past until now. I never forget you” said Ha Ru.
“Hahahaha... You are so adorable” Won said.
“Then be my girlfriend” connect Won.
“Alright, from now on you are my girlfriend” said Ha Ru happily.
Ha Ru likes Won so much that even after 20 years of not meeting her she still likes Won. For Ha Ru only Won who is always there for her and vice versa, Won also really likes Ha Ru because Ha Ru she managed to get through difficult times in her childhood. In addition to meeting at Ha Ru's parents' funeral, Won and Ha Ru often played together when they were kids because they lived in the same neighborhood. But they split when Won had to leave with his father after his mother died.
“Where should I take you?” ask Won.
“Ah, Samu-dong. To Samsu-dong, I stayed there” Ha Ru replied.
“No need to use polite words, now I am your girlfriend” Won said.
“Good. Uh, Ok” Ha Ru replied.
"Why don't you just stay with me" Won bargained.

"I'll think about it" Ha Ru replied.
Young Min who lives in the same apartment as Ha Ru is out to recycle garbage while she is recycling trash she sees Ha Ru who just got off the car and just then Young Min felt a tremor in his chest. Young Min was in love with Ha Ru at first sight, a feeling she had never felt for a long time. Ha Ru and Won chatted for quite a while they didn't realize that Young Min was watching them from earlier. When Won came home, Young Min immediately approached Ha Ru.
“Hei... wait a minute” shouted Young Min.
“Are you a new resident?” young Min asked Ha Ru who was silent in front of him.
“Iya. What's up, huh?” ask Ha Ru.
“You must be careful, the residents here are very conservative. They don't like it when women bring men in their homes. I saw you with your girlfriend so I just warned you” Young Min explained.
“Alright, I will be more careful” Ha Ru replied as she left Young Min. Ha Ru thinks that Young Min is very annoying.
“Hei... wait” shouted Young Min while following Ha Ru from behind.
“What floor do you live on?” young Min asked when they were in front of the elevator.
“Why do you want to know?” ask Ha Ru back with a suspicious feeling.
“It's okay just because we will be neighbors it never hurts to know each other now” explained Young Min.
“Sorry, I can't be so trusting with people I just met. And again do you really live here?” ha Ru asked with a suspicious look.
“Don't look at me like that, of course I live here there's no point in me lying. Ah, let's get in the elevator already open” Young Min replied as she entered the elevator.
“No, please you ride first” Ha Ru replied when the elevator door was closed.
Ha Ru feels that Young Min is just a pervert who wants to get close to her so she refuses to be in an elevator with Young Min. Ha Ru was willing to wait for the next elevator to avoid perverts like Young Min.
The next day, Ha Ru gets ready to go to work because today is Ha Ru's first day at the Ilsan police station after having previously worked at the Gwangju police station. As Ha Ru was standing waiting for the bus that came suddenly Ha Ru was hit by someone from behind who made her fall to the ground. The man immediately apologized to Ha Ru and helped Ha Ru to stand up by holding Ha Ru's hand. Ha Ru looks at the person who helped her and she is very surprised because the man who is holding her hand is the perverted man she met in her apartment. Spontaneously Ha Ru immediately used her Judo style and slammed the man on the ground.
