Chapter 40 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
After coming home from the hospital, Ha Ru immediately threw her body onto the sofa.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Won who came near Ha Ru.
"I feel very tired today" Ha Ru replied as she closed her eyes.
"Do you want a massage? " tawar Won who was sitting next to Ha Ru while putting Ha Ru's legs on her lap.
"By pleasure" Ha Ru replied.
Won also massaged Ha Ru's legs and Ha Ru seemed to enjoy it.
"What's going on? Why do you look so tired" Won asked because he wanted to find out what the police already knew.
"Today my colleague was stabbed by someone while conducting an investigation and one of them is still not self-conscious" Ha Ru explained while enjoying a massage from Won.
"really? Then did you catch the culprit?" ask Won who pretended to be surprised even though he already knew what really happened.
"No. He managed to escape and he was wearing a mask so no one knew his identity" Ha Ru replied in despair.
"Nothing has gone well since I got here" Ha Ru added.
"Don't grieve. I will make you happy" Won said as he placed his face on Ha Ru's stomach.
"Stop. It was amused" Ha Ru pinta told Won.
Won ignored Ha Ru's request and continued to do so. Won opens Ha Ru's pants and kisses Ha Ru's lower body. Ha Ru can only bite her lower lip feeling the sensation given by Won.
Tonight Won does her without ****** again, she just wishes Ha Ru would be pregnant with her child and could not be separated from her.
Elsewhere Sung Jae is still taking care of Won's mother and Ha Na who is like a lifeless person.
"You're gonna be fine. So just listen to what I say" Sung Jae explained to Ha Na.
Ha Na could only nod her head. During this time Sung Jae tried to brainwash Ha Na to make Ha Na believe in what he told her. Every night Sung Jae just says things that Ha Na wants to remember so that all the other slow Sung Jae sayings fill Ha Na's mind.
Meanwhile, Won, who just satisfied his lust, wakes up and goes to his basement. In the room was stored a lot of pictures of Ha Ru from the time she was small until finally located beside her. It turned out that Won had been observing Ha Ru for a long time and already had a plan for her life and Ha Ru to be happy.
The next day Young Min and Ha Ru go to find information about the now closed school.
They searched the state database and it turned out to be true that the school had closed 5 years ago because of a building fire caused by one of his students.
"What should we do now?" young Min asked Ha Ru when they were in the car.
"I don't know. But it seems like everything we do is free. It's as if the culprit is watching us and knows our every move" Ha Ru explained.
"Are there not spies among us?" said the suspicious Young Min.
"I don't know either but if it's true that we have to find the spy" Ha Ru explained.
They finally returned to the hospital to visit Eun So who was aware.
After 3 months of investigation they did not get any leads and the murder stopped and the case was deadlocked. Eventually the case became an unsolved case and the public forgot the case.
"We've been working hard. It's a pity we can't catch the culprit but the validity of this case will always be open and we also have more important cases so we'll focus on urgent cases" it was obviously Jang Man who was dissatisfied with himself.
That way the case has been officially closed for a while but can be opened at any time if there is a new pointer coming. Shortly after they closed the case they got a new case in which a small child who was found by a resident was battered and is currently being treated in hospital.
Hearing the news, they rushed to the hospital to see the condition of the victim. When they saw the victim they seemed to have no heart with the condition of the child. They went to the doctor who treated Yu Ri to get information about Yu Ri's condition.
"What's the situation right now?" jang Man asked the doctor in charge of Yu Ri.
"As you can see the boy was getting a pretty severe blow and there were also signs of abuse on his vital part. We are currently conducting an in-depth examination of whether there is DNA from the perpetrator or not" explained the doctor who handles Yu Ri.
"Basic crazy. Who does this to a child until it's like that?" man Ho said after the doctor left them. Man Ho was angry after hearing and seeing the child's condition.
Soon the victim's parents arrived in a state of anxiety and haste.
"At this time Yu Ri is done in surgery and is in the ICU" Jang Man explained while showing where Yu Ri is.
When Yu Ri's parents saw Yu Ri from the ICU glass they could not help but cry and break their feelings.
"We will catch the culprit soon" Jang Man promised Yu ri's parents.
Jang Man also explains what happened to their daughter. After hearing what had happened to their daughter, Yu ri's mother couldn't bear to accept the fact and cried hysterically and fainted.
After Yu Ri's parents came, Young Min and Ha Ru went to the place where Yu Ri was found. Yu Ri was found in a narrow alley where people rarely pass by. Yu Ri was lying beside the trash.
Young Min and Ha Ru look around to look for CCTV but they can't find any CCTVs around. They also interviewed the person who found Yu Ri.
"How did you find the girl?" ha Ru asked a mother who found Yu ri.
"The next day when I wanted to take out the trash I saw a hand in sight and then I looked next to the dumpster and found the little girl covered in blood" the mother explained.
"Have you not heard anything suspicious this morning?" ask Ha Ru again.
"I don't know. I went to work during the day so I wasn't home "the mother explained again.
After being perceived to get the information they needed Young Min and Ha Ru continued to search around and they also visited the school where Yu ri studied.
Young Min and Ha Ru also confirmed that Yu Ri was attacked when she was about to go home from school because the scene and Yu Ri school were close together. Young Min also asked the CCTV camera in front of the school in the recording to see Yu Ri go home alone as usual no one suspicious.
"Our cameras only got here" said the person with CCTV access.
"May we ask for a copy of that video?" ask Young Min.
"Of course" replied the man while giving a flash containing the video.
After getting the video, Young Min and Ha Ru continue their investigation and collect all the CCTVs that recorded Yu ri and bring her to the office.
While Jang Man, Man Ho and Eun So wait for the lab results from Yu Ri. Soon a doctor in charge of doing the lab for Yu Ri came out and gave the results he had obtained.
"There's no evidence whatsoever. There was no DNA left in the body" the doctor explained as police read the lab results. Instantly the peacock became angry and annoyed at not getting any leads.
"Damn it, I would really kill him if he got caught" explained Man Ho who was frustrated with what was happening now.
"We'd better go back to the office and help Young Min and Ha Ru with the CCTV they found" Jang Man explained.
They returned to the office disappointed.
"You guys are back? How is there a clue?" young Min asked while giving the ramyeon she cooked to Ha Ru.
"Nothing" Eun So replied limply.
"What about you guys?" man Ho asked as he approached Ha Ru who was eating.
"We didn't find anything suspicious just Yu Ri walking home" Ha Ru explained as she ate her noodles.
Man Ho looked at the video being played by Ha Ru while taking the cup noodles that Ha Ru was eating and eating them.
"It's not like the boys are following Yu Ri" Man Ho said as he ate the noodles he had snatched from Ha Ru.
Hearing Man Ho's words, Ha Ru felt that she had seen the boy before. And sure enough when he noticed the other video, the boy was indeed following Yu Ri.
"Well, Senior. You're very good at this. At first I thought her house was the same as Yu Ri" Ha Ru explained praising Man Ho.
When he saw the last video recording Yu Ri, the boy was seen running in the opposite direction while Yu Ri ran towards the place where he was harassed.
"Do you think the boy saw the face of the culprit?" ha Ru said as she watched the video.
"Didn't he run towards the opposite direction because he saw the culprit and while Yu Ri ran towards the perpetrator. In this video Yu Ri is seen talking to someone" Ha Ru explained as she showed the video to her colleagues.
