Chapter 39 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
Soon, Yo Han arrives at Kyung Min's house, and Jong Hyun will wait in the car.
"I'll give you 15 minutes" Jong Hyun said as Yo Han got out of the car.
Yo Han knocks on Kyung Min's door and Kyung looks surprised to see Yo Han at her house.
"What are you coming here for?" ask Kyung Min.
Instead of answering Kyung Min's question, Yo Han hugged Kyung Min tightly.
"What's wrong? What's going on?" asked Kyung Min who was astonished by Yo Han's behavior.
"I miss you" said Yo Han.
"Whatchu mean? We've just met" Kyung Min replies, still confused by Yo Han's behavior.
After letting go of her embrace, Yo Han kisses Kyung Min and pushes Kyung Min's body inside. While kissing they enter Kyung Min's room and take off their clothes.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Kyung Min who saw Yo Han looking hasty.
"I only want to do it once" replied Yo Han while turning Kyung Min's body upside down.
"I don't have a***** here" Kyung Min said.
"No problem. Just once" Yo Han replied.
Kyung Min complies with Yo Han's request and lets Yo Han do whatever he wants to.
Being chased by time Yo Han did so in a hurry. After Yo Han finished, she put on her clothes.
"Are you going to leave immediately?" asked Kyung Min who saw Yo Han wearing her clothes.
"Yes. Ii'm sorry. Take good care of yourself. I'll be back" Yo Han told Kyung Min.
"Alright" retorted Kyung Min who did not understand Yo Han's intentions but agreed to it.
Yo Han says goodbye to Kyung Min and kisses Kyung Min on the forehead and leaves with Jong Hyun.
"A long time. I'm almost going to drag you out" Jong Hyun said as Yo Han got into the car.
"Let's go" Yo Han replied without responding to Jong Hyun's words.
Arriving at the airport, Yo Han felt strange because Jong Hyun followed her even though she was already at the airport.
"What are you doing? You can go home now" said Yo Han.
"I can't. Because I'm going with you to America. I will study there again" said Jong Hyun.
"You're really crazy" replied Yo Han.
"I'll replace your mother and your parents agree. So as long as you're there you'll be under my watch" said Jong Hyun.
"Moreover I still keep your contract" Jong Hyun added as he showed me the brown envelope.
Seeing Jong Hyun's persistence, Yo Han could only resign and be quiet.
The next day, Jong Hyun's abuse case is closed and Kyung Min's identity is safe. Nothing has changed except for Kyung Min who is disappointed when she hears that Yo Han went abroad to continue her schooling. All the victims who claimed to be harassed by Jong Hyun were given considerable compensation or other words given money to keep their mouths shut and they were told to sign an agreement that was represented by their parents.
Those from poor families also accepted the offer even though they did not want to do so. All the victims of Jong Hyun also get mental assistance.While Kyung Min who feels betrayed by Yo Han can only cry and hate Yo Han. She did not expect that Yo Han would go with Jong Hyun and leave her alone.
Meanwhile, although Ha Ru looked disappointed but she still investigated the case in earnest.
"Is this a serial murder?" young Min said as he read the case file.
"most likely. Because there have been 3 victims of Yanga died in the same way" Jang Man replied.
"And the culprit was too smart, he left no evidence except for this scarf" Jang Man added.
"And all the research is at a standoff" replied Man Ho.
"What about the hospital? Is there anything suspicious?" jang Man asks Man Ho and Eun So.
"Nothing is suspicious. The owner of the hospital is an American named Michael and as we know Doctor Won is his partner. And all of his employees are from one of the medical schools in Ilsan that is very competent but strange is only Min Ji who is not from that school" explained Man Ho.
"But why would they open such a small hospital here?" said Young Min who was a little suspicious of perfection in Haneil hospital.
"Only Min Ji did not come from that school and only Min Ji died as well" Ha Ru added.
"I also feel something strange. But maybe the hospital is indeed devoted to alumni from that school" said Eun So.
"That's the question and why only Min Ji died? Is all this just a coincidence" Ha Ru explained.
"You investigate the school" Jang Man ordered.
"Our only clue is Min Ji and the hospital where Min Ji works" Jang Man added.
"The two of you investigate the identity of the victim" Jang Man orders Ha Ru and Young Min.
Ha Ru and Young Min go to the forensic agency to find out the identity of the victim. The victim was a woman named Na Young who was an ordinary office employee.
While Man Ho and Eun So went to the school but they were wondering if there really was a school here.
"Are you sure this is the way?" man Ho asked Eun So who was driving.
But the more they continue their journey the more they are worried because around them there are only forests and even the roads are still rocky.
"I'm not sure there's a school here" said Man Ho who saw the surrounding area full of forest.
"You've reached your destination" reads the navigation in Man Ho and Eun So's car.
They only gawked because when they arrived they could only see the magnificent building that had been left behind.
"Are you sure this is the place?" ask Man Ho again who still does not believe.
"really. This is the address given by the captain" explained Eun So who also felt fooled.
They also entered the building, in it a lot of wild plants and also dust. Everything was a mess and there was nothing left. Man Ho climbed the stairs while Eun So was still downstairs. They looked through the contents of the building and it seemed like the building was a former school because they found a history of students who had attended school there.
"Senior, Look at this" thanks Eun So who found a book.
Mah Ho who heard Eun So's scream immediately went downstairs quickly. But when he arrived there Eun So was already lying on the floor covered in blood. Surprised Man Ho calls 119, Man Ho tries to find the culprit but he can't find anyone.
It turned out that the culprit was hiding behind Man Ho and trying to stab Man Ho but Man Ho brushed the knife away with his hand.
"Who are you?" asked Man Ho who was still fighting with the mysterious person.
Man Ho tried as hard as he could to fight the man but because of his body that was losing big Man Ho was knocked down when the man stabbed Man Ho in the stomach.
After stabbing Man Ho in the stomach, the man fled with a book that seemed to be found by Eun So.
The perpetrator ran away and got into the car, in the car he took off his mask and it turned out to be Sung Jae. After getting the book Sung Jae calls Won and tells Won that his mission is over.
After Sung Jae leaves, the medical team comes and instantly saves Man Ho and Eun So. They were both taken to hospital for further treatment.
Hearing Man Ho and Eun So being injured, the other members rushed to the hospital because they were worried about Man Ho and Eun So.
"Where is the stabbing victim who just came? The two of them are police" asked Jang Man worriedly to the nun he met.
The nurse shows Man Ho who is in the IGD room.
Jang Man, Ha Ru and Young Min immediately ran towards the bed pointed at by the nun.
"Man Ho are you okay?" asked Jang Man who saw Man Ho still lying on the bed.
"I'm fine" said Man Ho who was only slightly injured.
"Then where is Eun So?" ask Young Min.
"He's still in the operating room" Man Ho replied.
"He was seriously injured trying to secure the book he found at the school. And it turns out that school no longer exists. When we got there, there was only an abandoned building that was no longer in use" Man Ho explained to his colleagues.
"alright. You should also rest. Don't move much" said Jang Man.
Man Ho also sleeps while the others wait for Eun So in front of the operating room. Soon enough, the doctor who handled Eun So came out and said that the operation went smoothly and they just waited for Eun So to wake up.
They also wait in front of Eun So's room with mixed feelings.
"I didn't expect them to go this far" Young Min said, breaking the silence.
"I'm increasingly convinced that the hospital is connected to this murder case" Ha Ru explained.
"The school looked suspicious. As soon as we investigate the school secretly because how can the criminal know that we're going to that school. It can't be all this just a coincidence" Ha Ru added.
Young Min and Jang Man agree with Ha Ru and they will investigate the case secretly.
