Chapter 6

On a clear morning, the sunlight woke Ha Ru up, she woke up and saw Lee Won was not there beside her. Then he looked around for Lee Won in all corners of Won's house because his spacious house made Ha Ru a little lost . It was then that Ha Ru saw a door that made her curious that she walked up to that door. His hand touched the doorknob when he was about to turn the knob suddenly Won called out to him from behind.

"Ha Ru" call Won.

“You were there it turned out, I looked for you everywhere” said Ha Ru who was surprised by Won's arrival.

“Really? Let's have breakfast, I've prepared your favorite toast” asked Won while holding Ha Ru's hand.

Ha Ru followed Won's footsteps but occasionally she looked back, at the door she was about to open earlier. He became curious about what was in the room because the room was in the corner of this house and looked dark, there was not a single lamp in the hallway near the room.

“What time are you going to the office?” asked Won while enjoying his breakfast.

“Around 10” hours replied Ha Ru.

“I'll take you” Won said.

“Alright, but what was that room?” ask Ha Ru.

“Why indeed?” ask Won back while putting down the toast he was holding.

“Ah, it's okay. It's just that the hallway is too dark and also I never saw the door open” Ha Ru said.

“I don't know either, which surely no one can enter the room, that's what my father always said when he was alive.” Won explained.

Ha Ru began to get suspicious of the room.

Just as they were all feeling annoyed suddenly a familiar face appeared with the driver who hit Yu Chan. They were shocked to see the lawyer defending Yu Chan now defending the driver.

Very unreasonable to them, the lawyer defending Yu Chan suddenly defended the person who was defending Yu Chan. They think that the mastermind behind this emua must be the same person. Young Joon asks Kwang Min to investigate the lawyer. Young Joon feels that this murder case is not an ordinary case, this case involves people in power, so their path is always blocked. He felt the case would not be easy to solve.

"Not tick what are you doing?" ha Ru asked the lawyer.

"I was just doing my job, no other intention" the lawyer continued.

“As Ha Ru said we should do it secretly” Byung Jun said.

“Good. But I want to know why the Inspector did this to us” Young Joon said while trying to meet the Inspector who was detained by the rest of the team.

“Let me tell Inspector” said Byung Jun.

“Captain is right, at the moment we can only conduct investigations clandestinely before they actually take our case” Ha Ru said.

After hearing Ha Ru they moved with their respective duties. Ha Ru and Young Joon will go to Yu Chan's house while Min Ki and Kwang Min investigate Yu Chan's financial history and cell phone.

While at Yu Chan's house, they searched his house trying to find something useful but the results were nil. They can't find anything. While Ha Ru and Young Joon found nothing, Min Ki called them and said he found something suspicious. Hearing Min Ki's words they immediately rushed to meet Min Ki. There they find that there is money coming into Yu Chan's bank and the amount is quite a lot.

"Good job, tomorrow we'll go to the bank and ask about this" Young Joon said.

"Finally our task tonight is done how about we celebrate with a drink" asked Kwang Min.

The team members plan to have a drink together because they get a clue but Ha Ru refuses their invitation, Young Joon who initially decides not to come too. Young Joon runs after Ha Ru and the rest of the team realize that Young Joon has feelings for Ha Ru.

“I'll take you” bargain Young Joon to Ha Ru who is standing in front of the door.

“Ah, no need. I can take a cab” reject Ha Ru.

“It's okay. I also want to talk about our case” Young Joon said.

Hearing that Young Joon wants to talk about their case Ha Ru is also devastated, Young Joon looks very happy when Ha Ru wants to be escorted by him. Looking at Young Joon's smile, he followed Ha Ru from behind happily. When it was in the parking lot Young Joon ran to open the car door and Ha Ru got into Young Joon's car.

At a roadside bar the rest of the team ordered soju and samgyeopsal.

“It's been a long time not having dinner with” Kwang Min said.

“That's right, since handling this case it feels like I never went home” Hoon replied.

“But what sir Young Joon does not like to drink?” ask Min Ki.

“Yes, he likes this kind of event the most, replied Kwang Min.

“But why did he not come to” thanay Min Ki again.

“Didn't you see that he found someone he liked better than soju” Hoon replied.

“Truely, how could he not hide his feelings at all to Ha Ru?” connect Kwang Min.

“Maybe because she really likes it” joked Hoon.

“But Kak Ha Ru already has a lover even his lover is very handsome he is also a doctor at Manwon” hospital, Min Ki replied.

“That was Young Joon. What's the name of her boyfriend?” kwang Min said.

Byung-jun tries to talk to the Inspector again because this case is the only way to find the killer.

“Didn't you want the killer arrested?” byung Jun said.

“Of course, but what can I do bosses want this case closed” said Inspector.

“Isn't this looking suspicious?” ask Byung Jun.

“I also think so” continued Inspector.

“Is there nothing you can do? If it continues this way the victims will increase and continue to” said Byung Jun.

The inspector thinks long enough and finally decides that Yu Chan's accident case will return to the special investigation team. The inspector also wants the case to be resolved quickly because he doesn't know until when he can protect them.

Elsewhere Young Joon is on his way with Ha Ru. Young Joon who said he wanted to talk about the case just kept quiet in the car.

“What do you want to talk about?” ha Ru asked breaking the silence.

“Ah... that... do you think the instructions we get will be useful?” young Joon said while stuttering a little.

"That's possible. Let's see tomorrow” said Ha Ru.

“But the other members are already happy to get that resident. Do you think we can catch the culprit” asked Young Joon who looks pessimistic

“Of course but it will be difficult we have to wait for him to make a mistake. Psychopaths always do their crimes perfectly but when they feel overconfident sometimes they make mistakes such as leaving evidence or traces” Ha Ru explained.

“So we have to wait until he makes a mistake? If we wait for that to happen how many people will have to be sacrificed?” young Joon said with a little annoyance.

“Do not get angry first, we can catch him before the next victim” Ha Ru replied confidently.

It did not feel like they had reached the front of Ha Ru's house. Young Joon stops his car and gets out of the car quickly to open Ha Ru's door. Young Joon looks fascinated by the grandeur of Ha Ru's house, thinking that Ha Ru must be the son of a rich man. It was unexpected that Lee Won was watching them from the window inside the house, unable to predict what Lee Won was thinking. He rarely shows his emotions only when with Ha Ru he shows his emotions but still it is difficult to know what he thinks.

“Wah, your house is huge” said Young Joon amazed.

“Ah, this is not my home, I only live here temporarily because this house is close to the office” Ha Ru replied.

“Then whose house is this?” young Joon asked curiously.

“Home Lee Won” replied Ha Ru casually.

“So you live with your girlfriend?” ask Young Joon again.

“Yes so” jawba Ha Ru.

When they were busy chatting suddenly Lee Won came out of the house to approach Ha Ru who did not go inside.

“You came home a little late today?” said Lee won from behind walking up to Ha Ru and embracing Ha Ru's shoulders.

“Ah, yes. Suddenly there is a case that must be handled” Ha Ru replied.

“You should call me let me pick up” Won said as he brought Ha Ru closer to her body to show Young Joon that Ha Ru is his.

“Sorry, I don't want to trouble you” Ha Ru replied.

Young Joon can only see the woman he likes with his girlfriend, he feels jealous and also sad.

“Thank you detective for dropping off Ha Ru. I owe you a lot” Won said.

“Ah, it's okay. Friends should help each other. Then I go home first, see you tomorrow at the office” said Young joon.

“Thank you, be careful on the road” said Ha Ru.

“Thank you detective, I will definitely repay you” Won said with a smile.

Young Joon leaves the house feeling sad while Won and Ha Ru enter the house while making out. Won tells Ha Ru to take a bath with the warm water she has prepared because she knows that Haru must be very tired and warm water is very good for people who are tired. On the other hand Won went to prepare food for Ha Ru.

“Hmmm, it smells so good” said Ha Ru who just came out of the bathroom.

“You are done, sit down I am also done” Won said while arranging his cooking on the table.

“This is very good, it turns out you are smart to cook Korean cuisine as well” praise Ha Ru while tasting other foods.

“Of course” replied Won.

After eating they sat in the middle room and watched the tv, Ha Ru sat leaning on Won's arms.

“It's very convenient” Ha Ru said as she wrapped her hands around Won's stomach.

Won further strengthened his embrace and kissed Ha Ru on the forehead then Ha Ru raised her head to face Won .

“I love you, you are mine no one can touch and have you” Won said as she looked at Haru and then kissed Ha Ru's lips.
