Chapter 28 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

Won takes Ha Na to an abandoned warehouse and lays Ha Na on the floor. Won just sat in a chair and looked at the unconscious Ha Na.

"This time he really did his job well. You look very similar to your mother" said Won who looked at Ha Na's face with a clingy.

Last night Won looked at Ha Na's face without saying anything until Ha Na finally realized and moaned in pain.

"What are you doing?" said Ha Na who was aware and saw Won sitting in front of her.

"I beg you to let me go" Ha Na said pleading.

Won did not say a word and just looked at Ha Na.

"Please... Pl-please... Please.. There's someone here" cried Ha Na.

"It's free for you to scream because like I said here there are no people" Won said as he approached Ha Na.

The fearful Ha Na tries to retreat and move away from Won in a bound state.

"I really like the expression you make" Won said, crouching in front of Ha Na.

"So that's a good boy" Won added and then stood up and went away from Ha Na.

"Where is Sung Jae? What are you doing with her?" ask Ha Na who is still worried about Sung Jae.

Hearing Ha Na's question, Won could only laugh out loud.

"Hahahahahahaha..... You are very interesting" Won said after finishing laughing.

"In these circumstances you are still worried about others" added Won who is currently sitting back in the chair he was sitting in.

"The answer to my question is, what did you do to Sung Jae" cried Ha Na.

"Don't worry she's okay. But at the moment you can't meet him" Won explained.

Hearing that Ha Na felt relieved and Won felt very comforted by Ha Na's reaction.

"What do you want from me?" ask Ha Na to Won.

"Nothing" replied Won.

"Then why are you doing this to me" asked Ha Na again who did not understand why Won did this to her.

"Because it's fun so I did it" Won replied with a smile.

"Crazy basics" said Ha Na.

"Fttt... Hahaahha... You're so much fun it's not wrong if she likes you so much. To the extent that he made such trivial mistakes" Won explained.

"What do you mean?" ask Ha Na.

"Later you will also know but for now you should sleep first" Won said while taking a syringe that has been filled with drugs and injecting it in Ha Na's body.

Soon, Ha Na began to become unconscious again.

Elsewhere Ha Ru had just returned home and felt very exhausted after arranging the files and evidence she had obtained. Ha Ru immediately lay down on the sofa and thought about why the nurse had given all the evidence to her.

They meet at a restaurant near Won's house.

"What do you mean?" asked Young Min who did not understand the meaning of Ha Ru.

"Because suddenly a nurse gave me all the evidence while I was waiting for Seol Hyun at the hospital. And all the evidence he gave was the evidence we needed" Ha Ru explained.

"Maybe it's just a coincidence and we're in luck. Already you do not need to think about it because thanks to him our case will finally be finished" Young Min said while eating the meat that Ha Ru roasted.

"Don't worry too much about unimportant things" Young Min added.

Eventually Ha Ru follows the advice of Young Min and forgets all the feelings that are considered in her mind and starts eating the food she has ordered.

Meanwhile, Sung Jae is busy removing the CCTV footage of himself disguised as a police officer investigating cases around the place.

During the task he always thought about Ha Na who was with Won. After cleaning up all the CCTVs, Sung Jae returns to the villa to meet Won's mother, Do Yeon. When he got there Do Yeon was conscious.

"Please let me go" Do Yeon asked as soon as she saw Sung Jae.

"I'll do anything. So please let me go" said Do Yeon, who pleaded with Sung Jae.

Sung Jae ignores Do Yeon's request and takes out an anesthetic to inject Do Yeon.

"I beg Sung Jae, I know you don't want to do this. Are you not kasian to your mother" Do Yeon said of Sung Jae's mother because Sung Jae loves his mother very much.

Hearing his mother's name, Sung Jae stopped his activities.

"I know that you're just following Won's orders. But your mother would be sad to see you like this" explains Do Yeon trying to make Sung Jae sympathize with her.

Many thoughts that come to Sung Jae's head start from past memories either fun or not. And also the speech Won always said.

"You're my family now and we have to keep mom together" said Won to Sung Jae.

Given that Sung Jae also directly injected the drug to Do Yeon.

"Sung Jae please don't do it. I beg you" Do Yeon said before losing consciousness.

Slowly Do Yeon lost consciousness and fell asleep. As soon as Do Yeon falls asleep, Sung Jae comes out of Do Yeon's room and sits in the living room.

The next day Won returns home after, securing Ha Na at a warehouse where she keeps Ha Na.

Won goes straight to the room to see Ha Ru whom he misses so much. Ha Ru who is still asleep does not know that Won has returned home. Slowly Won climbed into bed and hugged Ha Ru from behind tightly while closing his eyes.

Shortly after Won fell asleep, Ha Ru woke up and felt someone hugging her, she turned around and found Won hugging her. Ha Ru looks happy to see Won sleeping like a child. She stroked Won's hair while smiling with happiness.

"Am I so handsome?" said Wom who still closed his eyes.

"of course. You are so handsome because you are mine" Ha Ru replied despite her slight surprise.

After hearing Ha Ru's reply, Won hugged Ha Ru tightly.

"I want to be like this forever" said Won who still closed his eyes.

"What time are you home?" ask Ha Ru.

"I don't know" Won replied.

"You must be so tired. Sleep longer" Ha Ru said.

They both went back to sleep.

Meanwhile, Ha Na who was held captive by Won began to realize. Ha Na realizes that she is alone trying to escape.

"Please.help me. " cried Ha Na while trying to untie her.

"Please.does anyone there. Please...here there are people" Ha Na's cry was futile because the place was in an abandoned environment so no one could hear it.

Ha Na who was still trying to untie her bond felt tired and gave up. He couldn't even move from where he was tied up.

Ha Na started crying because the effort she put in was all in vain.

"It's so annoying that I don't want to die this fast" Ha Na said in tears.

The next room turns out there is a monitor that can show the situation of Ha Na and there Sung Jae noticed all the behavior of Ha Na.

Sung Jae arrived at the place early in the morning after adding dope to Do Yeon. When he arrived there he found Ha Na who was still asleep because of drugs as well. He watched Ha Na's face carefully and felt relieved to see Ha Na's face that was still clean without a blow from Won.

Upon seeing Ha Na this morning, Sung Jae's inner turmoil ripples between her wanting to help Ha Na or returning to her original plan. After thinking for a long time Sung Jae decides to free Ha Na because he is not sure if he can hurt Ha Na. As he was leaving, Won suddenly appears behind him which makes Sung Jae surprised.

"Where are you going?" ask Won.

"I don't think I can do it" said Sung Jae, who was caught off guard by Won.

"haha... So you're gonna release him?" ask Won to Sung Jae who already knew from the beginning if Sung Jae has a taste for Ha Na.

"Yes" Sung Jae replied.

"Aren't you the one who told me not to act alone outside the plan. And now you want to do that?" obviously Won with an expression that cannot be interpreted.

"Then I'll do it too" Won said as he dragged Sung Jae along.

She throws Sung Jae's body to the place where Ha Na is tied up.
