Chapter 26 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)

The woman turns out to be Won's biological mother. Won accidentally shuts her up in the house so she doesn't run away and leaves Won.

"Ma, why don't you ever love me the way you used to" Won said, bowing his head and holding his mother's hand.

"It seems you have to go now" said Sing Jae while Won still enjoys the warmth of his mother's hand.

"I know, leave me alone I'll be gone in 5 minutes" Won said.

At Won's request, Sing Jae leaves her alone with her mother.

Soon after, Won came out.

"I don't want this to happen again, we have to take care of my mom" Won told Sung Jae.

"I'm sorry, I won't repeat it again" replied Sung Jae who was truly sorry.

"From tomorrow we can't use my house for fun because my girlfriend lives with you" Won explained.

"I'll find somewhere else" Sung Jae replied.

"And so, she'll be your sister-in-law. You better get acquainted with her" advice from Won.

"Alright" Sung Jae replied.

"Then I go first, tell me where it is" Won said as he patted Sung Jae on the shoulder and left Sung Jae at the house.

Sung Jae is the son of Won's maid and Won brainwashed her so Sung Jae considers Won as his older brother and Won's mother as his own mother. Sung Jae lives under Won's control and Sung Jae no longer has parents.

The next day, Won arrived home after a long trip. When he got home, he saw Ha Ru who was still at home as well. Won immediately hugged Ha Ru who was still asleep.

"Take me off. You are very heavy" Ha Ru said half-consciously.

"awake. It's morning already. Are you not working?" asked Won who hugged Ha Ru.

"I'll wake up soon. What about you? Is everything okay?" ask Ha Ru.

"of course. I'll drop you off. Wake up and take a shower. I will prepare breakfast" Won ordered Ha Ru who was still asleep.

Ha Ru obeyed Won's orders, she got up and went straight to the bathroom and went out and sat at the dinner table waiting for her food to come.

"I really like this" Ha Ru told Won.

"Likes what you mean?" ask Won.

"When you prepare food for me. I feel happy" Ha Ru replied with a smile.

"I will make you food forever as long as you are by my side forever. Don't worry" Won said as he placed the bread he made on the plate.

"really? Then I won't leave you forever" Ha Ru replied.

Ha Ru and Won spend their mornings full of happiness. After breakfast Won went to take Ha Ru to his office.

"Tonight I won't be going home" Won told Ha Ru while they were still in the car.

"Alright" Ha Ru replied.

"I'll cook you dinner and put it in the fridge don't forget to eat it" Won said.

After a farewell kiss Won steps on his gas car and goes home.

Accidentally Ha Ru meets Young Min in the parking lot.

"Young Min" Ha Ru shouted as she looked at Young Min

"Didn't you come home last night?" young Min asked Ha Ru.

"Oh yeah, now I don't live there and live with Won" Ha Ru explained as she walked with Young Min.

"What about the interrogation yesterday?" asked Ha Ru who was in the hospital all day yesterday.

"We couldn't interrogate him because he was too stoned yesterday" Young Min explained.

"It doesn't look like it's going to be easy" Ha Ru said as she watched the man in black get off the expensive car and walk into the police station.

And sure enough according to Ha Ru, Eun Woo's father came to the police station asking for his son to be released because the victim had agreed to make peace. Ha Ru who heard that was shocked.

"Are you sure Seol Hyun wants to make peace?" ask Ha Ru..

"Of course, if you don't believe you can ask yourself with the person" explained one of the lawyers who came.

"We're sorry, we can't let go of your son because he was proven to have used drugs" Jang Man said.

Eun Woo's speechless father finally leaves and stops making noise at the police station.

After Eun Woo's father left, Ha Ru called Seol Hyun but she didn't pick up the phone.

"Didn't he pick up the phone?" young Min asked Ha Ru who had been busy with her phone.

"No" said Ha Ru who was anxious because it could be Seol Hyun got a threat from Eun Woo's father.

"We'd better get to the hospital now" Young Min advised.

The two of them went to the hospital to see Seol Hyun. Once there Seol Hyun looked blankly at the window.

"Seol Hyun" called Ha Ru.

Seol Hyun turned his head towards Ha Ru.

"Detective" called Seol Hyun in a trembling voice and then cried.

"What's wrong? What's going on?" ha Ru said as she hugged Seol Hyun.

"They know everything" Seol Hyun said in tears.

"I don't want to forgive that bastard but I can't do anything because they threatened me to spread the video they have" said Seol Hyun, who was still crying.

"Speak clearly and stop crying. You have to be strong against people like them" Ha Ru told Seol Hyun.

Seol Hyun stopped crying.

"It turns out the son of a bitch was secretly filming us while we were having sex and last night a lawyer he came and threatened that if I didn't want to make peace they would spread the video" obviously Seol Hyun to Ha Ru.

"The lowly human basis" Ha Ru said with annoyance.

"You calm down, I will make him rot in prison" continued Ha Ru who was very upset by what Eun Woo did to Seol Hyun.

Young Min who also heard Seol Hyun's explanation also felt angry about it.

"Aren't you going out today?" ha Ru asked Seol Hyun.

"Right" Seol Hyun replied.

"Do you know where you're going to live?" ask Ha Ru.

"I'm going back to my apartment" Seol Hyun replied.

"You better not go back to your apartment first because of the possibility that they will come looking for you again" Ha Ru explained.

"Then I will stay at a friend's house for a while" Seol Hyun said.

"alright. I'll drive you" Ha Ru replied.

Ha Ru is loyal to Seol Hyun and she tells Young Min to go back to the office and teach Eun Woo a lesson.

While they are busy with Eun Woo, Won who is at home prepares his blue scarf to give to the next victim.

"I'm really impatient" Won said as he put the scarf into the box.

After she finishes wrapping it, she gives the scarf to Sung Jae who is currently in his house.

"And this is our new address" Sung Jae said, giving him a piece of paper.

In the investigation room, Young Min who has arrived at the police station comes and interrogates Eun Woo who is a little aware accompanied by her lawyer.

"Are you okay?" young Min asks Eun Woo.

"Never felt this good" Eun Woo replied.

"Good then" said Young Min.

"Do you know this woman?" young Min asks Eun Woo while giving a photo of Shin Ji.

"I don't know who he is" Eun Woo denied.

"You don't have to answer that question" lawyer Eun Woo said.

"You don't know ya. Then how are you going to explain about this photo" said Young Min who showed a smiling and friendly photo of Eun Woo and Shin Ji.

"We refused to answer" Eun Woo's lawyer said.

"Well, then do you know him?" young Min asked while showing a photo of Seol Hyun.

"We're not going to answer that question either" Eun Woo's lawyer said.

As the investigation goes on, Young Min cannot get any information because Eun Woo has her mouth shut.

At the hospital, Ha Ru was talking to Seol Hyun.

"Do you have the video file?" ask Ha Ru.

"No I don't have it" said Seol Hyun.

"If we want to sue him we have to get the video and destroy it" Ha Ru said as she thought of a way to get the video.

Instantly Ha Ru got the idea.

"I'll leave you for a while and come back later" Ha Ru said then hurriedly ran over.

Ha Ru returns to the office because she needs the help of team members in hopes that her plan will work.

Soon Ha Ru arrives at the police station and Young Min is still interrogating Eun Woo.

"Cap, may I come inside" Ha Ru said with a breath that was still panting.

"Alright" said Jang Man who was surprised by Ha Ru's sudden arrival.

Ha Ru replaces Jang Man.

"Hallo Eun Woo, I have new demands for you. Pornography and hidden cameras" Ha Ru said.

"What do you mean?" eun Woo replied with a little nervousness.

"I've seen it all" Ha Ru said scaring Eun Woo.

Ha Ru notices the reaction of lawyers Eun Woo and Eun Woo. When Ha Ru talks about the porn video Eun Woo took secretly, the lawyer holds her bag and can be sure that the video is in her bag.

"What do you see?" ask Eun Woo.

"All the videos you took. What if the public knew that anti-porn ambassadors were committing crimes, especially hidden cameras to secretly record girls" Ha Ru said.

"I never did" Eun Woo said in denial.

"Unfortunately, your lawyer is the one who leaked about the hidden camera in your house" Ha Ru explained.

"He showed Seol Hyun the video that you recorded and it's already strong evidence" Ha Ru added.

Eun Woo looks angry at her own lawyer for not being able to hold back her emotions as she tries to hit her own lawyer who is then separated by Young Min, Man Ho and Eun So.

Due to conditions that do not allow them to delay the investigation again.
