Ha Ru seems surprised by what Eun Woo says.
"Are you sure? The person you found is the same person who gave me the evidence?" asked Ha Ru who still did not believe it.
"of course. I can prove it if you give me your phone" Eun Woo said.
Ha Ru gives her phone to Eun Woo. Eun Woo sends a message to someone and then that person sends Eun Woo a picture.
"Look at this" Eun Woo ordered while showing the picture that the man sent.
"Is he really the one who gave you the evidence?" ask Eun Woo.
"That's right" Ha Ru replied who was surprised to see the photo.
"Now you believe what I say" Eun Woo said.
"Where is he now? and who killed him?" asked Ha Ru who was panicking.
"Don't rush. Now is the time to make a deal. I also want to know why he gave my evidence to you" Won explained.
"What do you want?" ask Ha Ru.
"Before that. I want to drink first" Eun Woo ordered.
Ha Ru also went out and met her team members who were outside. Ha Ru shows the photo she got of Eun Woo to her team members.
"Whose picture is that?" ask Young Min.
"He's the one who gave me the evidence about Eun Woo. But now he's dead" Ha Ru explained to her colleagues as well as the Prosecutor who took care of Eun Woo's case.
"Who killed him?" ask Jang Man.
"I don't know. I think we should investigate him and Eun Woo seems to know about the culprit but he asked me to make a deal with him" Ha Ru explained.
"Eun So get a drink for Eun Woo" Ha Ru orders Eun Woo.
"Alright" Eun Woo replied and went to the vending machine.
"We can't make deals with criminals" said the prosecutor who handled Eun Woo's case.
"I don't plan to do it either so I'll try to get Eun Woo to give us a pointer without having to make a deal with her" Ha Ru explained.
"I'll call Young Min and let the phone stay connected as long as I interrogate Eun Woo" Ha Ru said.
"Well that's a good idea. Let's move now" Jang Man ordered.
As they were running around out, Eun So had just arrived with a drink in her hand and gave the drink to Ha Ru. Eun So immediately ran after the other members.
Before entering Ha Ru calls Young Min and when she is connected to Young Min, Ha Ru enters the interrogation room.
"This is the drink you want" Ha Ru said.
"Tell me where did you find her?" ask Ha Ru.
Eun Woo drinks her drink.
"Do you really want to know?" ask Eun Woo.
"Of course" Ha Ru replied.
"I'll tell you everything that you set me free" Eun Woo said.
"You are far ahead of me and you have everything I want to know. Don't you want to be generous telling me where the body is?" reply Ha Ru tries to win Eun Woo's heart.
"alright. I'll tell you about him" Eun Woo replied.
"I found it in a warehouse far from the settlement in Gap Yong area and the girl was named So Ri. She doesn't work in the hospital so most likely someone told her to" Eun Woo explained as she continued to drink her drink like a thirsty person.
"Do you know who told you to?" ask Ha Ru back.
"You can't. can't. fool me.." Eun Woo said like a breathless person.
"Are you okay?" ha Ru asks who sees Eun Woo as having trouble breathing.
Eun Woo suddenly falls out of her chair and convulses and dies.
"Eun Woo's... Eun Woo. "call Ha Ru while trying to give Eun Woo CPR.
All Ha Ru's efforts are in vain because Eun Woo ends up dead.
Young Min who was still connected to Ha Ru was worried and kept calling Ha Ru from her phone but Ha Ru did not answer and their phone was cut off.
"What's going on?" ask Eun So who is in the same car as Young Min.
"I don't know. Tell the captain about So Ri and the warehouse at Gap Yong. Also tell me that we're going back to the office" Young Min ordered Eun So.
After they were given permission by Jang Man, they immediately turned the car around and returned to the office.
When they arrived there were many members from the forensic agency and they saw Ha Ru who was just sitting in front of the room.
"What's going on?" young Min asked Ha Ru.
"I don't know. Like he was poisoned" Ha Ru said.
"Where did you get the drink?" ha Ru asked Eun So who gave the drink to Ha Ru.
"I got it from someone earlier. He said he didn't want to drink it and give it to me" said Eun So, who was scared.
"Did you see that guy's face?" ask Ha Ru again.
"Ha Ru, why are you acting like this. Explain it to me" said Young Min who did not understand Ha Ru's attitude.
"So when I talked to Eun Woo, she suddenly died and during the room she only drank the drink I gave her. He killed someone, a person who doesn't want us to know his identity" Ha Ru explained.
"So he died from the drink I brought?" said Eun Soo who still does not believe.
"I killed him" continued Eun So who felt guilty.
"Eun So, it wasn't you who killed her. So did you see the culprit's face?" ask Ha Ru again.
"She was a mother who shared drinks with the police outside. You can ask the other police because they also get a drink from the mother" Eun So explained as she shook from feeling guilty.
"I'll see the CCTV" said Young Min.
"Then I will question the people who received the drink" Ha Ru said.
"Eun So, wake up. We have to catch the culprit" Ha Ru said as she patted Eun So on the back.
"Alright" said Eun So who tried to stay focused.
Young Min goes to the surveillance room and looks at the CCTV that is in the lobby and finds the mothers who give drinks to Eun So. While Ha Ru and Eun So meet the people who received the drink and they all look fine.
"Do you know those mothers?" ask Ha Ru.
"She is the mother of one of Eun Woo's violent victims, she often comes here to say thank you and give us all a drink" said one of the police officers who often get drinks from the mother.
"Do you know whose mother she is?" ask Ha Ru.
"I'm not sure. He never mentioned the name of his daughter" the police officer explained.
As they investigate Eun Woo's killer, news of Eun Woo's death is widespread throughout the country. Reporters blame the police for not being able to keep the perpetrator and the netijen feel grateful for Eun Woo's death because the case he experienced was inexcusable.
All Ha Ru team members must face consequences due to Eun Woo's death, their superiors immediately tell them to raise their hands from Eun Woo's case and they must not do anything for a while. They were forced to go home early and go for drinks because they felt disappointed and angry.
"How can this be all our fault?" said Man Ho who poured soju into his glass and drank it.
"I'm sorry, it's all my fault" replied Eun So who felt guilty.
"I told you it wasn't your fault" Ha Ru replied.
"But if I hadn't received a drink from those mothers, things wouldn't have been like this" Eun So said regretfully.
"That's it. Everyone can make mistakes don't blame yourself too much" Jang Man replied.
"Truely, I used to be worse than you" Man Ho said.
"I used to let criminals run away and get everyone in trouble" Jang Man continued.
"really?" ask Eun So to convince herself.
"Of course, even Young Min was worse. He beat innocent people to prison" Man Ho said.
"Why are you bringing up the past" replied Young Min who was embarrassed.
"Not to be ashamed" said Jang Man.
The atmosphere of Ha Ru's team became more cheerful ever since they told the embarrassing story of Young Min and Man Ho. Eun So's guilt is reduced and they laugh together.
But Ha Ru can't fully have fun because she's still thinking about what Eun Woo said before she actually died.
Ha Ru accidentally hides the fact that Eun Woo said something to her because she didn't want her team members to know her.
Flashbacks
"Eun Woo, are you okay" Ha Ru said when she saw Eun Woo fall to the floor.
"Mon... Dok.. ter. in. around" said Eun Woo then exhaled his last breath.
When Eun Woo said that, Ha Ru's mind went straight to the hospital where Won worked. He suspects that the mastermind of all this is a doctor who is at the hospital where Won works.
"What are you thinking?" asked Young Min who saw Ha Ru daydreaming.
"It's okay" Ha Ru replied.
"I want to go out for a while" Ha Ru said.
Ha Ru went out and sat on the front porch of the restaurant.
"It's very cold outside" said a man sitting next to Ha Ru.
"I know" Ha Ru replied.
"Why are you in here? " ask the man.
"Because I want to see the stars" Ha Ru said while looking at the man who turned out to be Sung Jae.
