Chapter 33 (Flashback Ha Ru and Young Min)
Young Min could only look at Ha Ru from a distance and did not dare to say anything.
"What happened between you?" man Ho asked Young Min.
Young Min ignores Man Ho's question and gets into the car and is followed by the rest of the members.
Soon they arrive at a bar and Young Min orders a soju and drinks it from a bottle. Jang Man, Man Ho and Eun So could only fall silent.
"Hey. Stop getting drunk" Man Ho said, holding Young Min back for another drink.
"What's really going on?" ask Jang Man.
"It's okay" Young Min replied hiding the truth.
"But shouldn't we be investigating the hospital of Ha Ru's lover" said Eun So, who doesn't understand why they're drinking.
"Do you think with what's going on we'll investigate her calmly?" ask Man Ho.
"We can do it tomorrow" Jang Mam said as he invited them to a toast.
Meanwhile, Ha Ru, who feels unfair on suspicion by Young Min, goes to the hospital where Won works, and there she meets Won.
"What are you doing here?" asked Won who saw Ha Ru in the hospital Corridor.
"I want to ask you something" Ha Ru replied.
"What do you want to ask?" ask Won.
"Can I get a list of the doctors who work here all the days they practice?" ha Ru asks hoping Won can give her what she needs.
"alright. Wait a minute I'll ask for his administration. You can wait for me in my room" Won said.
Ha Ru obeys Won's orders and goes to Won's room and waits for him there. Soon Won arrives with a piece of paper.
"Here we go. Why are you asking for this?" ask Won to Ha Ru.
"There's something I want to make sure of here" Ha Ru said as she read the list of doctors who work there along with their practice schedules.
"Can I see Dr. Lee at the heart?" ask Ha Ru to Won.
"Alright I'll take you" Won said so Ha Ru doesn't get lost.
Although the hospital is small, Won hospital has a complicated design so that people who are not used to get lost. After walking far enough they reach the heart and Won helps Ha Ru to find out the whereabouts of doctor Lee who was in a park in the heart surgery section.
"Doctor Lee?" call Ha Ru.
"Yes" replied Doctor Lee who was a little confused by the sudden arrival of Ha Ru and Won.
"Can I talk for a minute?" ask Ha Ru.
"alright. What do you want to talk about?" ask Dr. Lee.
Ha Ru looks at Won as a gesture that she just wants to talk to Lee's doctor.
"Oh well, I'll go get a drink. Please speak comfortably" Won said, leaving Ha Ru and Doctor Lee alone.
"Do you know Eun Woo?" ha Ru asked after Won left to give them some privacy.
"Eun Woo's? Who's that?" ask Dr. Lee who is confused.
"The son of the chief judge" Ha Ru explained.
"Ooo. I don't know him" said Dr Lee.
"Thank you for the time then" said Ha Ru then saying goodbye to leave.
As Ha Ru walks away she meets Ha Ru who returns with a drink for Ha Ru.
"How did it go?" won asked while giving the drink he ordered to Ha Ru.
"Nil" Ha Ru replied.
That same day Ha Ru went to question all the doctors on duty at the time but no one knew Eun Woo. Ha Ru felt desperate because all her efforts were in vain.
"Are you not pa-pa?" won asked because he saw Ha Ru who looked glum.
"I'm not pa-pa" Ha Ru replied.
"Are we going home?" ask Won.
"I can go home by myself. Don't you still have to work" Ha Ru explained.
"I'm done. I can go home with you" Won said.
Finally they went home together when they got home Ha Ru immediately took a shower and rested in the living room. Ha Ru thinks about Young Min's words and feels that Young Min's words are true. Won's hospital work looks suspicious because all cases are always related to the hospital.
While Ha Ru is thinking about a very complex case, Won suddenly comes.
"What are you thinking?" asked Won who saw Ha Ru speechless and pensive.
"It's okay. It's just that I feel unfair because my team is being treated badly" Ha Ru explained lying.
Ha Ru did not want to divulge what she had in mind because it was an investigation.
"Yes. Now my team is only assigned to teach the martial children" Ha Ru explained with a sad face.
"Everything will be fine" said Won giving a spirit while hugging Ha Ru.
"Thank you" Ha Ru replied.
The next day, Won takes Ha Ru to the school where she is assigned now. As he arrived at their room, Ha Ru looked at his comrades who had already arrived and looked listless.
"Do you drink until night?" ask Ha Ru.
"really. We are really tired" Man Ho said.
"You can go have breakfast and get rid of your hangover" Ha Ru replied.
"In front of this school there is a sundae soup stall, you can eat there" continued Ha Ru told them to have breakfast.
They followed Ha Ru and went to get rid of the alcohol left in their bodies.
After they left, Ha Ru returned to the infirmary and met Maya.
"What happened to the kid yesterday?" ha Ru asked Maya about the sick child yesterday.
"Sir Jong Hyun took her to the hospital and told her parents" Maya explained.
When Ha Ru and Maya talk about Kyung mIn, suddenly there is a student who enters the health room.
"Excuse me" said the boy who turned out to be Yo Han.
"Yo Han, what are you doing here?" ask Maya.
"Is Kyung Min okay? He didn't leave today" said Yo Han who looked frightened and uncomfortable.
"Kyung Min's? I think he's okay. Yesterday it was Jong Hyun who took him to the hospital" Maya replied.
"WHY DID YOU LET HIM TAKE KYUNG MIN?" yo Han shouted furiously.
Ha Ru and Maya are surprised by the reaction given by Yo Han.
"Why can't Kyung Min be with Mr Jong Hyun?" asked Ha Ru who was curious about what happened at this school.
"It's okay. I'm sorry" Yo Han said and left the infirmary.
Ha Ru immediately chased after Yo Han for not feeling suspicious.
"Yo Han wait" Ha Ru said as she ran.
Hearing Ha Ru's voice made Yo Han stop.
"Can you explain what happened? Did that teacher do anything bad to you? asked Ha Ru who was trying to make eye contact with Yo Han because Yo Han did not dare to look at Ha Ru.
" Nothing. I don't know anything" Yo Han told a lie.
"You know I'm on your side and your father told me to protect you so you can tell me what's going on. I will help you" Ha Ru explained convincing Yo Han to trust her.
Yo Han considered what Ha Ru told him but he chose to remain silent.
"alright. I won't force you but if you change your mind you can contact me" Ha Ru said as she gave her card.
Yo Han took the card and left Ha Ru. Ha Ru sat in front of their work room and soon Ha Ru's team members came in better shape.
"Young Min, I want to talk to you" Ha Ru told Young Min.
Young Min stopped while the rest of the team entered their room. Ha Ru and Young Min sit in front of the counseling room while Jang Man, Man Ho and Eun So try to hear their conversation from the door.
"I'm sorry about yesterday" Ha Ru said, regretting her stupid attitude.
"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have said that" explained Young Min who also felt guilty towards Ha Ru.
"You're right. I tried to protect my boyfriend I was afraid he was involved so I did. But I won't do it anymore" replied Ha Ru who tried to become a professional.
"And like you said the hospital looks suspicious" Ha Ru continued.
"We'd better tell the others about our suspicions" Young Min replied.
After they finished making up, the two of them went inside and the three people who were eavesdropping on their conversation looked surprised by Young Min and Ha Ru who entered suddenly.
"What are you guys doing?" ask Won.
"Nothing, so are you guys okay?" ask Man Ho.
"Yes we're fine" Young Min replied.
"Actually we suspect Haneil hospital where Won works" Ha Ru said.
"Yesterday I went there to investigate Eun Woo's case but the doctor I met that day didn't know who Eun Woo was and I think we need to investigate" Ha Ru explained.
"I also felt that there was something strange in the hospital" added Man Ho.
"Well then, we'll investigate the hospital secretly because we don't have permission to investigate Eun Woo's case. Eun So and Man Ho will investigate the background of the hospital while the two of you will investigate the doctors who work there" Jang Man ordered.
They decided to take turns so that when Man Ho and Eun So who went to investigate Ha Ru and Young Min will be in school to do his duty and vice versa.
