What Ameer had done to Hana took away the man's composure, although Ameer had accidentally done so, besides her lips did not actually touch Hana's skin directly. Her touch was still blocked by the cloth that always covered Hana's head.
It was night time, everyone must have fallen asleep as well as Meizia. The woman was never unwell when Ameer hugged her.
Not with Ameer. The man was still in the shadows of the mistake he had committed even though there was no element of intent in it.
"Why not sleep?" meizia asked in a hoarse voice, the woman rubbed her eyes that felt heavy to open.
"I made a mistake" said Ameer, gently rubbing his wife's head.
Meizia's forehead creased as she heard Ameer's confession, her eyes now wide open. "What's the mistake, honey?" Meizia asked confusedly and worriedly, especially after she saw the look on Ameer's anxious face.
Ameer had opened her mouth to give her honest answer, but then clenched her lips again for fear that Meizia was jealous.
"Darling, why stay quiet?" meizia asked, she looked at Ameer with a deep and intense gaze. "Let's just say, maybe it'll ease your anxiety a little bit even though I can't help her."
Ameer smiled, she stroked Meizia's cheek then said, "Next time never bring another woman into our private room."
The frown on Meizia's forehead deepened at Ameer's request, she immediately remembered Hana as only Hana had entered their room.
"Includes Hana?" meizia's great-grandson was immediately answered with a nod of the head by Ameer. "Why?" Meizia sat up, looking at her husband deeply.
Ameer also sat down, he turned on the lamp on the side of the bed. "Honey, Hana's my cousin, not my sister" Ameer said.
"Everyone knows that, too" Meizia chuckled.
"What I mean is we're not mahram!" ameer's assertiveness instantly made Meizia speechless. "So he was in our room, I thought it was you. Abaghfirullah!"
Ameer rubbed her face in frustration, clearly regretting her actions.
"Then?" meizia asked in a half-whispering voice, she looked at Ameer's face.
"I accidentally kissed her because I thought it was you."
Deg
Instantly Meizia's heart seemed to stop beating, she held her breath and her face seemed tense.
"He covered his face, I thought it was you," Ameer said in a low voice. "I'm sorry, honey." She gently held Meizia's hand. "I promise it will be my first and last mistake." Ameer assured the silent wife.
"Meizia, are you angry?" Ameer looked Meizia in the eyes. "You deserve to be angry, you have the right to slap me if you want to."
Suddenly Meizia smiled which made Ameer confused. "Why smile, Zia? You're not angry?" ask Ameer.
"No," Meizia replied as she pushed Ameer back to bed, Meizia followed, putting her head on Ameer's chest. "I'm not angry, just a little jealous" Meizia said.
"I'm sorry." Ameer stroked Meizia's long hair gently.
"Stop apologizing, honey, you did it by accident anyway" Meizia said, causing Ameer to sigh in relief.
"Thank you, dear," said Ameer softly. "I can't sleep because I keep feeling guilty about you, I feel like I've betrayed you." Meizia laughed at Ameer's words.
"There is no way that Ameer Alfatih betrayed his wife," Meizia cheered as she looked up, she looked at the face with a spoiled look. "I so wish our son was, I'm sure he'd have a trait like yours."
"And what if it's a girl?" ask Ameer.
"She's gonna get a husband who's got traits like you."
Ameer immediately laughed amusedly at Meizia's words. "So her core, you idolize me, hem? Until we want our children to have a nature like me or have a partner like me, hem?"
"That's right," Meizia said firmly. "Because a man like you is the dream of every woman in this world."
"Like that," joked Ameer.
Both of her chuckles, Ameer feels relieved to have let go of what became her anxiety. Meizia is now pictured with her son.
That made Meizia even more impatient waiting for the birth of her first child.
"Darling, how many kids do you want?" ask Ameer suddenly.
"Much of God loves." Meizia gave her wise answer, because she never thought about the number of children.
"What if we have 5 kids?"
"Wow!" Meizia immediately shone with a small laugh. "Aamiin O Allah" said his later and now Ameer who laughed. "I think a lot of kids are a lot better, so we won't be lonely in old age."
"That's what I think too." Ameer is closing in on Meizia. "It's night, now sleep."
...🦋...
Hana couldn't forget what Ameer had done to her, she wasn't angry. Instead Hana felt guilty in Meizia, she also felt bad for Ameer.
Hana is scared, her feelings for Ameer re-emerges to the surface and it definitely won't be good for her.
In the morning, as usual, Hana wants to help her in the kitchen. But suddenly the father called Hana to his room.
"What's up, Bi?" hana asked, sitting by her father's side.
"You said you wanted to study in Egypt" said the father. "Is that desire still there?"
"Still, Bi," said Hana with vigor. Studying science in Egypt has been a dream for a long time, but various reasons make him unable to go abroad.
"You want to go to Egypt?" ask the father who made Hana smile but then looked at the father suspiciously.
"Why?" ask Hana. "New suit now?"
"There is a proposal to come for you, from his son Kiai Ahmad, but he lives in Egypt and the wife he will marry will definitely be brought there."
