"I accepted Meizia's marriage and marriage to the dowry, cash!"
Meizia's tears spilled again hearing Ameer say kabul so loud and straightforward, her heart and soul trembling. The same thing was felt by Ameer.
He knew that when the marriage contract was done, it meant that Ameer had accepted Meizia as his responsibility in all things.
Ameer also knew, after this maybe their path would not be as beautiful as they expected. But, that is the name of the household as said the ruler.
In unison they answered the SAH after the ruler asked them as witnesses.
Now they all prayed fervently, asking the owner of life to bless the marriage of Ameer and Meizia.
Especially Ummi Nayla and Abi Zaid, both Ameer's parents asked so strongly that his son was always happy and in Rahmati.
After she finished praying, Meizia was welcome to kiss Ameer's hand. However, just as Meizia raised her hand, Ameer directly kissed the back of the woman's hand gently which made Meizia stunned and immediately sculpted.
"This is a sign that I will always honor you as my woman" whispered Ameer, who made Meizia's heart full.
Meizia knew the meaning of Ameer's words, saying she had honored Meizia as a woman before Meizia paid tribute to Ameer as her husband.
"Stop showing me your perfection, Ameer," said Meizia. "You're too high to flatter me, I'm afraid what if I fall."
"I won't let you fall" Ameer quickly argued.
Ummi Nayla who heard his son's promise could only faintly smile, she did not know should be proud to have a son like Ameer, a man who had a very airy heart. Or should he be sad because he dropped his heart on a woman who was far from the criteria of a dream partner.
"I'm so proud to have a granddaughter like Ameer" Grandpa suddenly said. "There may only be a few men like him in this world."
"Hem" said Abi Zaid. "May they always be happy in the future."
Now Meizia who kissed Ameer's hand gently, in her heart she promised herself she would always try to be a good wife.
"I forgive you for thinking You are unjust, O my Lord. Forgive me for even thinking You are so cruel for not giving me a good life, nor for letting me die. Now understand, it turns out that You have prepared far more than I expected."
It was time for them to exchange rings, after which Ameer cupped Meizia's cheek for the first time. She wiped away Meizia's tears gently and said, "I love Meizia, my wife, the mother of my future children."
Meizia blushed at Ameer's words of love, and she immediately closed her eyes as the man who was now her husband kissed Meizia on the forehead.
A very romantic scene, but quite painful for Hana who has been saving a special taste for Ameer. However, the woman kept smiling even praying very sincerely in her heart.
"Give them perfect happiness, O God. Until me and the people around them can also keep that happiness a secret. Give good children to them, who are sholeh, filial, loving. Until me and the people around us feel proud to have their offspring as members of our family."
"Never felt better than this" said Hana who made Riana shake her head.
"You are the woman of choice" Riana said as she gently clasped her sister's hand. "Your sincerity will give you a very beautiful and special gift in the future, huh?"
"Aamiin's."
Now Ameer and Meizia are silent to the parents, asking for their prayers for their new life.
"I don't know what to thank Grandpa for" Meizia told him. "Thanks grandfather, now I have everything."
"It's a gift from God, dear," said Grandpa wisely. "If you can be patient in your hijrah, a greater gift awaits."
"Aamiin, God willing," said Meizia.
"Now you are our daughter" Abi Zaid said. "We ask nothing but happiness for our son."
"God, Om," Meizia replied.
While Ameer was silent while watching Meizia, his wife had been talking to Ameer's family members. Say thank you, ask for prayer and blessing. While Ameer can't do the same thing because Meizia doesn't have anyone she brought to this wedding.
"Why silence?" Meizia touched Amer's arm gently.
"Are you happy now?" Ameer asked back.
"This is the happiest day of my life" Meizia replied, smiling sweetest.
Ameer recalled their first meeting, in which Meizia managed to attract her attention right then and there. Until an obstacle that was never resolved in the mind of Ameer he had to face with a strong heart and determination.
After all those steps, he had now justified Meizia for him. And Ameer knew, this was not the end of his struggle but the beginning of everything.
"I want to take your promise, Ameer," Meizia said.
"Which promise, honey?" asked Ameer who immediately made Meizia's face blush.
Her first affectionate call from Ameer, the husband, was for her.
"Pursuing the prayer of his love" said Meizia. "I want to get close to Him, Ameer, I want to get His love."
"We will pursue His love together, Meizia." Ameer clasped Meizia's hand. "We'll keep chasing until death picks us up."
