Pursuing the Details of His Love Tasbih
Chapter 13 - The Rejection

"She's a woman of the night, Grandpa."

Kakeh could only gawk at Ameer's reply, even holding his breath until Siddiq came to bring coffee for Ameer.

"Thank you" Ameer told Siddiq, but his eyes fell on Grandpa, who looked surprised.

"Sama-sama, Ustaz," Siddiq replied before he finally left.

"Where do you know that?" ask Grandpa later.

"His own mother said that." Ameer replied in a doldrums.

"Then what?" Grandpa asked again which made Ameer even more confused.

"I don't know, Cake, it's just that I can't forget it. I want to take him away and give him a happy, decent and decent life."

"But would he do that himself?" ask Grandpa again. "You won't be able to help people get out of trouble if the person himself doesn't want to get out."

"You mean Grandpa Meizia who won't get out of there? I'm sure it's not like that."

"Sure or sure?"

Ameer fell silent, because she did not know anything about Meizia's life.

"Grandfather think you should know the woman first, Ameer, do not let you try to fight for her while she herself does not want to be fought. Don't be too passionate in pursuit of something let alone a woman, the end result can be very disappointing."

Ameer bowed, trying to understand his Grandfather's advice.

"How about Hana?" ask Ameer again. "I know she's a very good woman, what do you think of grandfather?"

"Don't pull a woman's hand when at the same time you still want to hold another woman" said Grandpa. "Think carefully, reassure your heart and when you make a decision. Your heart and your mind are fused, you understand?"

Ameer nodded slowly, which meant that she still could not give an answer to Hana and also could not decide to fight for Meizia. All he had to do now was find out a lot about women.

"Ma, I .. I think we can change our lives" Meizia's great-grandson. "I want to work abroad, who knows how our lives could be better."

"What's less good now, Mei?" Meizia was claustrophobic and upset at the mother's response.

"Our life is not good, Ma, when will we keep doing this? I don't want to live forever like this, please help Mama understand how I feel."

Mami Lala took a deep breath, she looked at Meizia sharply and said, "You want to find work like you used to? Go ahead, but does anyone want to accept a former whore? You were rejected because of Mama's child, now especially."

Meizia pulled a long, trying to suppress the pain in her chest over the mother's scathing speech.

"Therefore I say we go abroad or at least out of town, Ma, we go to a place where people don't know us."

"Oh, Mei, life is good you make it complicated. Just live our lives now" said Mami Lala, who made Meizia look even more angry.

"I don't want to!" furious Meizia then he went into her room, leaving Mami Lala who now immediately looks sad because in fact she did not have the heart to see Meizia had to live a dark life like this. However, what happened to him made him always feel like it was their destiny.

"Where are we going, May?" his murmured exclaimed "Our lives are ruined, nothing else can be fixed."

At night, both of Ameer's parents asked her about her decision, especially after she spoke to Hana. However, Ameer's reply made them seem disappointed.

"What else do you have to wait for, Mer?" ask the mother not to think.

"Let me have a little time, Ummi," Ameer asked. "After this I promise to give you the answer."

"You still want that woman?" ask the Father. "What are you chasing him for, son?"

"I don't know either" Ameer replied honestly. "I'm trying to figure it out."

"It's up to you, if you want to make him repent, yes go ahead and that's good. The important thing is not to take that woman as a daughter-in-law to this house."
