Pursuing the Details of His Love Tasbih

Pursuing the Details of His Love Tasbih
Chapter 26 - Closing the Black Paper

There is no reason to reject Ameer and Meizia's report, although police say the story is not enough, but this time they use their humanity to move.

That same day they moved to the brothel address indicated by Meizia.

Mami Lala who is still angry over the escape of Meizia is now more angry because suddenly there are police who come to her kingdom. He was gleaming to save himself and was also a place to find money, but this time the police acted decisively.

"There are no transactions here, it's just a regular night's entertainment" said Lala. "There's no human trafficking here."

"In that case, you better come with us to the police station and explain there what really happened in this place" the police said.

The girls who were there were also interrogated but those who were afraid of Mami Lala chose silence. No exception Jenny, especially since Mami Lala glared at him sharply.

While Mami Lala could now only sigh heavily, she was still not who dared to report it now. However, he had no choice but to follow police orders. Perhaps, he could be free with a fee, thought Mami Lala.

While outside, Meizia accompanied by Ameer and Shafa remained in the car. The woman kept her head down deeply since then, her gaze still blank.

A police officer came and told them there was no evidence of prostitution found there. "There's no evidence whatsoever, the girls there said the waiter, bartender and such. So they were just asked to come to the police station to be interrogated, not to be arrested."

Hearing that, Meizia immediately raised her face, her eyes suddenly turned sharp and she immediately jumped down from the car.

"Where are you going, Meizia?" shouted Ameer who immediately followed Meizia. "Let this be a police affair."

"The woman is good at talking and acting" furious Meizia who now stopped her steps, turned and looked at Ameer then continued. "There were already some policemen who came but in the end they all lost either because of a paper bribe with a certain nominal or the body of a beautiful woman for free."

Ameer was stunned at Meizia's words, never expecting even this terrible thing to happen. "Now it's time for them to close this hell, Ameer. All involved must testify and stop."

After saying that stressed sentence, Meizia continued her steps to the place that had become hell for her.

"Mayez!" jenny shouted as she looked at Meizia.

Mami Lala looked at Meizia and now she knew who made the policemen come to her place. "May, where have you been?" mami Lala asked as she approached Meizia. She acts like a mother who misses her daughter.

However, Meizia does not care about her mother, she instead approached Jenny and her other friends.

"May, you're the—"

Meizia immediately nodded before Jenny finished her speech. "Why can?" whispered Jenny who was now glaring in surprise.

"Because I'm tired, Jen, aren't you tired? You're not all tired?" shout Meizia.

"Mayez!" reprimanded Mami Lala, even she wanted to pull Meizia but a female police officer immediately blocked her.

"Please come with us to the police station" he said. "Go alone or should we drag you?"

Mami Lala was cornered, she looked at Meizia with anger before she was forced to follow the policeman. He also meets Ameer. "It's time to close your black paper, Auntie," said Ameer, who made Mami Lala look very upset.

"I beg you, your honesty will be of great help to all of us" Meizia said but all of them could only be silent.

"Don't be afraid" said Meizia. "We will be protected, no one will threaten us or harm us."

"Jenny...." Meizia held her friend's hand. "Let's go, is this what we wanted a long time ago? Go outside, where we can breathe quietly."

"Why did you get this far, Mei?" ask Jenny. "I thought you just ran away, but why bring the cops here?"

Meizia was silent for a moment, she recalled what Shafa said as she asked why they were helping her.

"Because we are both women" Meizia replied. "And we have a right to claim our rights, Jen."

Jenny hugged her friend and her crying broke. "I want to stop, Mei, I want to but I think I can never stop."

"Now it can be" Meizia said, replying to Jenny's embrace. "Therefore, we must testify against Mama."

"Are you sure, Mei?" ask another girl there.

"Yes," Meizia replied firmly.

"But after that what will happen to us? Are we going to jail too?" ask another girl.

"No way" replied Ameer as he approached them. "You are the victims, no victims will be imprisoned. You will be protected."

"But after this we have to what? What do we have to do out there? No one will accept us working anywhere."

Ameer was stunned again, the words of the person as if to say that the work they were doing now was the only thing they could do.

Ameer did not know what to answer because what the woman said could be true.

"I heard you're Meizia's boyfriend, so you saved her. And maybe you'll accept him for who he is, while we are?"

Ameer was getting confused, he was at a loss for words even suddenly his hands and knees were like shaking. Is it true that he can't do anything for these lost people because they have nothing to do with Ameer?

Meizia turned to Ameer, waiting for her answer because what the woman said was indeed true.

"You can all work with me" Ameer said later. "I will open a business that all of you can take care of" Ameer said with a smile and looked at Meizia. "I can't promise people will accept you or not, because everyone is different. But to me, we're all the same. Everyone has slipped on sin, but on a different kind of sin. So why distinguish yourself?"

His Ustadz soul came out, that was all Ameer could do to comfort and persuade them.

"So now I beg you, you must testify truthfully and make this place closed. I'm sure there's a much better life out there."

"I want to" Jenny said firmly. "Although at first I entered here willingly, but there shouldn't be a place like this."
