Chapter 20 - Overstepping the Boundaries?

Both of Ameer's knees trembled even the man's temple broke out in cold sweat as he entered the vile place. In fact, Ameer can't breathe in there.

He kept his head down and walked among the few people who were there. If it wasn't for Meizia, Ameer would never have set foot in a place like this. However, the love he had in Meizia made Ameer desperate to do things he never expected.

In that place, there were many women and men who were close by undue. In fact, some women greeted Ameer flirtatiously which made it seem like Ameer's heart was about to jump out of place.

Ameer continued walking with his head bowed until he was laughed at by several people.

"Male comes here to enjoy the beautiful scenery and worldly pleasures, but he keeps bowing his head like a geeky man."

"Ah, maybe this is the first time the man has sought entertainment. We should've helped him."

"I've seen some girls trying to greet him but he ignores them all."

And there's still a lot they say about Ameer, until suddenly Ameer bumps into someone because he keeps his head down.

"You?"

Ameer immediately looked up when she heard the familiar voice.

"Aunty?" Ameer muttered as she looked at Mami Lala. "I'm looking for Auntie and Meizia, where is she?" ameer asked with a tense-looking face. Either because of constantly worrying about Meizia or for fear of being in that place.

"I don't think Meizia wants to see you, now she's gone with Mami's client" said Mami Lala, throwing her face away.

Mami Lala's words managed to make Ameer's heart like pinched, he was angry, upset and also disappointed. "But he promised to come with me, Auntie," said Ameer, who was immediately laughed at by Mami Lala.

"Is there no other woman out there until you keep chasing my son, huh?" mami Lala's Cibir. "He's my son, my asset so you better go and find another woman" said Mami Lala.

"Oh, or maybe you're just curious about Meizia? Or has he served you and you like him?" Ameer's blood boiled upon hearing the accusation. His hands were clenched and if the one who spoke like that was not a woman, Ameer would definitely beat him all out.

"For me Meizia is not a slave ****!" hiss Ameer was angry. "So tell me where Meizia is now or I'll report Auntie to the police!" the threat immediately made Mami Lala look angry.

"Since I met you, I've disliked you" said Mami Lala. "You've interfered too much in your life, hero snobs!"

Mami Lala gestured for her men to drive Ameer away. However, Ameer reluctantly leaves before she finds out where Meizia is.

"Go ahead or we'll beat you up!" threaten one of Mami Lala's men.

"I won't leave until I know where Meizia is" Ameer said.

Without thinking long they beat Ameer simultaneously, Ameer was initially able to fight and dodge their blows but Ameer was outnumbered and overwhelmed to face them so that he was finally battered.

The fight attracted Ameer's attention, and Jenny was no exception. The woman was wide-eyed to see Ameer in such a place and Jenny certainly knew what Ameer was coming for.

"Not going to go?" hiss Mami Lala while smiling cynically. "Are you still waiting for Meizia?"

Ameer groaned in pain but she did not show any fear, the look of the man was still the same as before. Firm and sharp.

"I will report this place to the police" snapped Ameer but Mami Lala laughed.

"Police sometimes become our most active customers" he said, to Ameer's surprise.

Meanwhile, Jenny is now straight to figure out how to tell Ameer Meizia's whereabouts. Jenny's gaze was fixed on the book and pen on the table, she immediately took the two objects and wrote down the address of the hospital where Meizia was treated.

"Astagfirullah," murmured Ameer. "Does Auntie have no pity on these girls?"

"Those who come here to earn money" said Mami Lala without the slightest guilt that makes Ameer can only shake his head.

"May God give his guidance to Auntie, for the greatest sin of our lives is adultery."

"Go to the mosque if you want a lecture, this is a place for money and enjoyment."

Ameer seemed very upset and concerned for Mami Lala, she could not imagine what Meizia had grown up under the care of such a heart-covered woman.

"Now go or we'll throw you!" hiss Lala's men.

Ameer stepped slowly with a little limp, his body felt crumpled, especially this was the first time he was ganged up.

The people who had been swarming them also gave way to Ameer. While Jenny is busy looking for how to give the paper to Ameer without being caught by Mami Lala.

"Basin' weird guy!" furious Mami Lala then he also rushed away.

Along with that, Jenny immediately ran to Ameer and without saying anything she slipped the paper in Ameer's hand. After that Jenny left just before she was also beaten by the pimple.

While Ameer now opened the paper and he was surprised because it was the address of the hospital.

"Did he go to the hospital? Is he trying to kill himself again?"
