Chapter 19 - Search for it

The decision of Ameer's parents seemed to have been unanimous, they would no longer listen to any explanation from their son and Ameer certainly did not want to fight anymore.

While both of Ameer's older sisters can't do anything, although they can understand Ameer's feelings but they can't go against the parents' orders either.

However, the next day Ameer kept his promise in Meizia. He and the clerk came to Meizia's house but unfortunately there seemed to be no one.

"Assalamualaikum," cried Ameer once more while knocking on the door.

"It looks like there's no one, Meer," Grandpa said.

"But where are they? There's no way Meizia's leaving while we've promised to see her" Ameer said.

Not long after, Ameer saw a neighbor Meizia who just came out of the house. Ameer immediately asked about Meizia's whereabouts.

"Do you know where the people who live here are?" ask Ameer politely.

"Where do I know" answered the neighbor.

"Thank you" said Ameer with a gentle smile even though the man was not friendly to her.

"Why look for them anyway, Mas? Wanna grab some snacks, huh?" ask the person while staring at the appearance of the feet are quite religious. "Do you want to preach to them?"

"We have important needs" replied Ameer. "Do you have their phone number? I forgot not to keep it," said Ameer.

"Actually if they're not here they're usually in a brothel" the person said later.

"Do you know where it is?" ask Ameer again which made the person quite surprised.

"You don't know?" screech the man and Ameer can only shake his head slowly.

"Actually who are you? I've seen you three times in this compound" said the man.

"I'm just the one who wants to take Meizia away from here."

"Astagfirullah, Bi, is Ameer's decision still unclear? My decision was Ameer's decision, so our relationship cannot be forced" Hana said.

He really did not understand why the parents were still talking about his marriage and Ameer.

"But Ameer's brother said Ameer wouldn't marry the woman of his choice, so he said your matchmaking could still continue."

Hana let out a heavy sigh, going against the orders of her parents was very unlikely but accepting that matchmaking was also much more impossible.

"I'm sorry, Abi, but I don't want to marry a man who loves another woman because it would be so torturous for my life. There will be no happiness and calmness in our marriage" concluded Hana hope the father understands.

Grandfather forbade Ameer from looking for Meizia to the brothel, because he felt they should not go into such a place.

Inevitably Ameer had to obey, he also drove grandfather home before he returned to his workplace.

"Grandpa is sure that Meizia will come home later, we will go to their house again later" said Grandpa.

"But I don't feel good, Cake," said Ameer. "Somehow since last night I kept thinking about Meizia, I was worried about her, Cake."

"Are you afraid he's doing the job again?" ask Grandpa.

Ameer was silent, of course he did not want Meizia to return to serve a man again especially after Meizia decided to go with him.

"Come on, Cake," said Ameer.

"Hopefully not, Meizia has already decided to stop so she shouldn't go back to that place."

"Maybe not" murmured Ameer.

A few minutes later, Ameer arrived at Grandpa's house.

"Be careful, son," cried Grandpa before Ameer left.

"Yes, Cake" said Ameer.

On the way back to the office, Ameer could not get Meizia's name out of her mind. He kept thinking about the woman because Ameer was very sure Meizia would not do the job again after Ameer asked her to.

In the afternoon, Ameer prepared to go home, especially he had received a message from his mother to go home soon.

However, Ameer recalled Meizia so much that she decided to return to her home.

However, when he got there Ameer still did not find anyone in the house.

"Search him again, Mommy?" Ameer turned her head immediately when she heard that voice. It turned out to be Meizia's neighbor whom she had met this afternoon.

"Yes, ma'am" replied Ameer.

"The man hasn't come yet" said the mother.

"Can I have the brothel's address?"
