Pursuing the Details of His Love Tasbih
Chapter 24 - From Heart To Heart

Because of what Shafa said, Ameer now had to tell Hana and her parents about who Meizia was. However, Ameer insists that all that Meizia did was forced.

Of course, Ameer's explanation made Hana and her parents only dumbfounded, not knowing what to react to.

"Maybe to you this is a disgrace" said Ameer. "And we all knew it was a disgrace, but Meizia wanted to change her life. All this time he's been trying, it's just that no one's helped."

Everyone was still silent, busy with their own thoughts. Especially both of Hana's parents, they really did not expect Ameer to fall in love with a woman like Meizia and she still maintained her love despite knowing who Meizia was.

Now they also understand why Ameer's parents are reluctant to approve Ameer and Meizia, which parents want their children to marry a prostitute?

"Then we have to help her," said Hana who immediately attracted the attention of everyone. "Mak Shafa is right, we must report to the police so that there will be no more Meizia-Meizia" Ameer said.

Ameer nodded as she gave a faint smile, not expecting Hana to support her with open arms.

"Bi?" call Ameer to her father. "I'm sorry, but I think Ms. Shafa and Hana are right, we have to help Meizia."

"Did I reject your idea?" the Sarcas Abi Zaid. "Tomorrow we're going to the police station, but we need Meizia to testify honestly. If not, then we won't get anything."

"I will persuade him to testify" Ameer said.

While inside the room, Meizia had noticed her stupor. The woman groaned softly while staring at her wrist that was still sore.

After that, he looked around and then he remembered what happened before he fainted. Meizia looked down, and realized she had changed. Even her hair was dry.

In a hurry Meizia immediately got off the bed, holding her head that felt dizzy, she stepped out and tried to find the person who was there.

Faintly Meizia heard a voice from another room, she approached the origin of the sound and at once Meizia could only peck because now everyone was staring at her.

"Zia, you're conscious." Ameer immediately approached the woman who still looked pale and limp.

Meizia did not reply, her gaze was on everyone other than Ameer. Inexplicably, Meizia was embarrassed and she fell down. "I'm going home" said Meizia.

"It's still raining outside" Ameer said. "Mak Shafa has also called the Doctor, so you better rest here."

Meizia shook her head, for some reason she felt unworthy to be among all of them. People who look so different to him.

Shafa went straight to Meizia, he held her arm gently and said, "We go back to the room, Meizia. You need a break."

Meizia immediately looked at Ameer as if asking who she was. "She's my sister" replied Ameer who understood Meizia's confusion. "They're all my family, Meizia, don't be afraid."

"I feel a lot better, so I think it's okay if I go home," Meizia said once again which made Ameer seem annoyed.

"It's okay, Meizia," Shafa said with a smile, as if he understood Meizia's mentality was not fine now. "We're going to the room now, okay?" Shafa slightly pulled Meizia away to the room, forcing her. Meizia could only stare at Ameer with nanar.

Both of Ameer's parents who saw Meizia's blank stare and pale face were sympathetic, let alone seeing one of Meizia's wrists bandaged while the other one already had an incision mark.

For some reason, they seemed to be able to feel the pain of Meizia.

When Meizia was no longer covered by her views, Ameer returned to the couch and that's when Marwa said, "I think Meizia needs a psychiatrist too, she must have been traumatized and her mental health wasn't okay."

"I think so too, Ma'am," said Hana. "One other hand had an incision as well, what does it mean he's tried to kill himself before?"

"Early," answered Ameer representing. "When he felt hopeless, that was all he thought about. End his life."

Mandengar Ameer's words, his parents felt increasingly sympathetic. And now they understand why Ameer insisted on helping the boy.

"It's bad luck," muttered both of Hana's parents.

While in the room, Shafa helps Meizia up to her bed and that makes Meizia moved. In a lifetime, no one has ever given such little attention.

"Thank you" said Meizia.

"Sama-sama," Shafa replied while sitting on the side of the bed. "May I speak, Zia?" shafa asked then who was immediately answered with a nod of the head by the woman.

"But tell me you don't like what I'm going to say" Shafa said. Meizia nodded again. "I think tomorrow we should go to the police station and report who made you this way."

Meizia looked up at Shafa's words, even holding her breath as if she was afraid. "Don't be afraid." Shafa directly gripped Meizia's hand gently. "We'll keep you company and help you until the matter is resolved, we promise."

"But why are you helping me?" lirih Meizia's. "You don't even know me yet."

"Because we are also women" Shafa replied straightforwardly. "And we cannot see another woman's life destroyed, her dignity humbled. We won't let that happen to our sister."

Meizia shed tears without being prevented, the stranger who had met her once talked about her dignity while the mother who had conceived and gave birth to her tore apart Meizia's honor, self-esteem and feelings mercilessly.

Meizia tried to hold back her tears, but the woman sobbed and tears ran down her cheeks. Shafa who saw that immediately grabbed Meizia, rubbing her gently shaking back.

"Don't be afraid, Zia, you have a right to fight for what is rightfully yours. And you have an obligation to stop the evil that is happening to you and to the people around you. So we have to report all this to the police."

Meizia nodded slowly, though it was hard to report her own mother to the police but considering how she had plunged Meizia into the valley of sin, Meizia was determined to do so. Not for revenge, but for nothing like her, like Jenny and her friends at the brothel.
